    Kudos to Katie and the Benchmark team. I needed PPF on my Toyota Tundra and Katie was able to provide the best price in the area combined with impeccable work and great customer service. She and the Benchmark team even picked up Touch-Up Paint from Toyota of Kirkland and patched up a chips on my hood along with the PPF project. I highly recommended Benchmark Auto Salon for PPF needs.

    I've taken my cars to Benchmark for years. My '12 Mini Cooper S, my '16 Audi allroad, and more-recently my '88 Porsche 911. I was originally looking for specifically a shop that applies XPEL products, and while I found that with Benchmark, I also found a great small business run by Good People. They've been a joy to work with every single time, and I'm happy that there have been several times we've gotten to work together. My allroad and 911 have gotten a front-end PPF treatment, and all surfaces have been coated with XPEL Fusion ceramic coating. Both have been through several hours of paint correction. I only have good before & after photos of the 911, but I'll post them here. The 911's paint looked good when I dropped it off, especially for a 35-year old car, but it had been loved and washed many times over the years leaving swirlies that were quite visible if you looked closely or the sun caught the car just so. When I picked the car up, it looked like it was freshly dipped in black paint and left to dry in a dust-free room. Amazing.

    *****AVOID**** I take a lot of pride in my vehicle and it takes a lot of trust to hand the keys over and hope that your vehicle is safe and secure. Benchmark destroyed that trust by damaging my Audi. I did the walk around and noticed that the trunk wasn't latched. Turned the vehicle on and a loud alarm alerted to it. Opened the lift gate and it opened about 40%, when it closed it would bounce as it slammed into the vehicle. Even more shocking, there was even more visible damage in the cargo area. The guy checking us out wasn't well trained or good at customer service. My husband asked to speak to the owner and he identified himself as the owner. The owner was making excuses like "oh, well I didn't personally damage your vehicle" uhh, you're the company owner? The former YOU damaged my vehicle. ‍ He also claimed they had "no idea" about this issue. How could that be true? It's not. The vehicle was alarming that the vehicle was damaged, that would have been so when Benchmark was driving my vehicle around as well. Benchmark was hoping we would just take our keys and walk away without noticing. And that might have been true except there were so many dash alarms and noises I couldn't even drive off the property. Very very disappointed in the response from Benchmark. I used to hold them in high regard, but their inability to navigate an issue like this has completely destroyed my trust.

    I was super careful picking a place to work on my car and after careful review I decided on these guys and they performed another 5-star job for me along with other reviews. The side of my car's rear quarter panel was scraped off and I needed to take out the old clear bra, apply touch up paint, then reapply new clear bra. The work only took about 2 hours and The work was awesome! From booking for an appointment (about 1~2 weeks ahead) to checking in and driving off, the whole process was smooooth and everyone was all friendly and professional! I highly recommend these guys!

    Made an appointment for my brand new 2018 WRX to get Opticoat Pro+ to help protect the soft paint Subaru is known for. Booked an appointment a few weeks in advance so I could borrow their loaner car. The loaner car ended up being a Ford Focus which really cut down gas use which was nice. It even had Bluetooth with decent sound systems and air climate control; it just blew me away that it wasn't the typical loaner car you get that has no features, and horrible mileage. Picked up my car a few days later after they had let the Opticoat cure enough, and man was I amazed. The car looked completely different than when I got it, it looked way better compared to when I drove it off the lot a week ago! The original red on my car is now a deeper red and it looks stunning with the gloss. The team at Benchmark even went the extra mile and got behind the license plate, and every nook and cranny on the car. They even got the exhaust tips done, even though they know it won't last that long. My tires were dressed and even my wheels got a coating of Opticoat, I thought it would just be the body of the car. Really recommend using their services, their attention to detail and thoroughness is amazing here. Any questions I had were answered completely, and the warranty for the Opticoat was already set up for me. They even give out a free complimentary hand wash 2 weeks later to see if the Opticoat has cured properly. Highly impressed with the service here and would definitely refer people here.

    Took my car in for a headlight restoration. They were very friendly and efficient in getting my car done. The headlights looked amazing. Will be coming back in the future.

    Benchmark made it right! After I brought my Toyota Tacoma there for a complete interior and exterior detail where it had turned out pretty horrible...they contacted me to make it right. Apparently the shop manager who had performed the detail previously, no longer works for Benchmark...good decision team . They called and asked if they could detail my truck which I had already sold by that time and so they ended up detailing my 4Runner instead at no cost to me. They provided a rental car for the 2 days while detailing the interior and exterior of my SUV...definately unexpected. After all said and done, the 4Runner turned out great!!! It looked and smelled brand new and I couldn't find a spec of dirt on it. Thank you guys. Definately go there and get your vehicle detailed as they will take care of you and fix it if it's not right!!!!!

    I contacted 4 detail shops through Yelp to get quotes for my wife's 2018 CX-5. I was asked 9…read morequestions, and then given a quote. Here's the quote from MRG: "Here is my price estimate: Price Estimate $290 flat rate" I accepted the offer and we scheduled for 9 days later. The detailer arrived at my home on time, but right off the bat said, "oh you have a dog, there is fur and mud, it will be $50/hour extra." I protested the last minute price change and he offered "well I can detail it for the quoted price but it likely won't get fully clean." I then reached out to the scheduler to make sure this was correct and they confirmed that is how they operate. Ultimately I declined to do business with MRG. Given how many 5* reviews MRG has this is super surprising to me. And yes my car was dirty, and there was dirt on the rear seat... thus the need for a cleaning, but in my opinion nothing extraordinarily gross (pictures attached). Now please allow me to editorialize a little bit: 1) If they noted this 'dogs extra' charge up front, so be it. But they did not. 2) If my car was excessively gross with filth, so be it. But it is not. 3) Pretty sure my twin toddlers were much messier than my dog. 4) Something like half of American households have dogs. It would be really simple to ask people if they have a dog or not as part of the estimation process. 5) Here's what "flat rate" means, from the dictionary: "A charge that is the same in all cases, not varying in proportion with something." So I guess the flat rate is not flat after all. 6) I have written 364 Yelp reviews over the past 12 years, and I'm very reluctant to give a 1-star review, having only done so 8 times previously. I hesitate to use the term 'bait and switch', but there I said it.

When I arrived I was told the lady I spoke to said she never heard back from me even though in the voicemail she said I didn't have to. We also spoke about the cost of the detail and she told me it wouldn't be much more than the listed price although I drive a bigger SUV. Due to their "system being down" when I showed up for my appointment no one knew that I was coming. They didn't have availability and when I asked about pricing I was told it would be double the cost of what I was told over the phone. They said they could fit me in the schedule but it would take a week instead of 3 days. I dropped the car off on Monday and ended up getting a call on Wednesday saying my car was ready so I went to go pick it up. It looked good until a week later when I noticed spotting(?) I'm not sure what it's called on the drivers side door. Overall communication seemed off and now I have this stain on my car after paying twice what I was quoted.

Still muddy.... The back he didn't wipe the headrest and there was dog hair still on the top of the car he didn't vacuum at all.... He didn't get in the crevices like spoken about on his website..... Didn't bother wiping the headrest or the trunk of the car was dirty.... Needlessly to say it was a lousy job.... I left my car there for 8.5 hours... His excuse was he was by himself but I did make an appointment.. They wanted to correct their mistakes by giving me a wash and wax.... They corrected the interior detailing but the wax and wash again was not up to par. The son Kevin said he could get that done in 30 minutes after he already had my car for 5.hours trying to correct the interior detailing.... I paid $550 dollars with a certificate I could give someone or use it myself.... I don't know anyone besides my son and he doesn't want it .. I don't want to go back to this lousy company and will let everyone know it's terrible. Terrible service and a waste of time

They told me it was flat when they started. It was driven the previous day and was in a closed garage. It was inflated the morning I took it out for them to wash. So, not only did they manage to tear the valve stem and render the car inoperable (it cannot hold ANY air, and patch kits don't seal valve stems) they lied about the cause. The quality of the cleaning doesn't matter if you manage to render a car inoperable while merely CLEANING IT. UPDATE : Vlad contacted me to offer to replace my tire in exchange for taking the review down. I refused and explained that the 1 star review isn't because of the mistake or damage, (replacing a valve stem is like $30 for a tire shop, or less) but rather because it clearly happened while they were working on it and they chose to deflect and mislead me about how it occurred. What followed was an absolutely insane text exchange that I am embarrassed to have entertained for far too long. I had to block his number eventually because he wouldn't quit trying to convince me he wanted to "make it right." News flash : Your chance to "make it right" was when it first happened and you decided it wasn't your problem. Vlad will "do the right thing" only when he has to personally face consequences.

On a beautiful Saturday the Lynnwood locations car wash was unfortunately closed. Against our better judgement we went to the dreaded Alderwood location to clean our son's car. The car wash started and immediately the middle of the windshield cracked and then spidered into the entire windshield. We reported the incident immediately and took several photos. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday? We then contacted him first thing Monday morning. He insisted we drive the car back where he told us the crack was in the inside...hmm. I guess not only is he a weekday manager but also a glass expert. We have tried several times to get anyone (else) to return our calls to no avail and there is apparently no other manager to talk to at anytime onsite. Our insurance has told us they will not cover it as it is considered third party damage. Not to mention at time of purchase on the inspection of the vehicle no windshield damage was found. So my (Autistic) 16 year old is left with a car that is illegal to drive. Thanks Levine family, we will never use your company again. We will now determine if this is worth pursuing in small claims court.
