Benchmark has now done four different jobs for us, and at this point I think they've earned the full review. The first was kind of a weird one. I had Competition Orange Wilwoods on the front of my Ram and asked them to paint-match the factory rear calipers. Not "paint them orange." Actually make them look like they belonged with the fronts. They nailed it. We tested them again with a tint job on another vehicle. Flawless. Then tint on my truck. Also flawless. And now a full ceramic coating on the Ram. The ceramic is crazy. I picked the truck up in the rain, which is an unfortunate way to see it for the first time, but also a pretty great demonstration. Water basically refuses to stay on any surface. Paint, glass, trim, wheels. The whole truck looks ridiculous. They also gave me a loaner while they had it. From a small specialty shop. I did not expect that. So that's four jobs now. Zero defects. Flawless customer service. Reasonable pricing. No surprises. They do exactly what they say they're going to do, and every result has been right the first time. I mean, what else can you ask for? I really appreciate how responsive and helpful the team at Benchmark was. I originally had my PPF installed by another company in the area, and recently noticed some strange markings on the film. I contacted my original installer to have them take a look, but unfortunately, they never returned my message. I then reached out to Benchmark, and they got back to me right away. Benchmark Auto Salon was recommended to me by a fellow C8 owner at the recent Corvette Marque Club show. That recommendation turned out to be exactly right. Katie and Mike took on a long list for my Corvette Z06: full paint protection film, the center stripe, side radiator guards, window tint, and ceramic coating on both the paint and the wheels. Every piece of it came back better than I expected. The film work is clean, the stripe is laid out perfectly, and the finish on the car is exactly what I was after. They are also Avants partners, so I saved a bit on the work. That was a nice bonus, but it is not why I am writing this. I would have been just as happy at full price. What stands out is the service level. Clear communication, no surprises, and a team that obviously cares about the cars that come through the shop. I had PPF installed on my 2026 Porsche 911 with the Aero Kit -- full front, side sills, a rear section near the wing, and a couple places on the interior that are prone to scratching. This is the third 911 I've had PPF applied to, but my first experience with Benchmark, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of their work is outstanding. There are noticeably fewer seams than I've seen from other installers, and on the headlights and other tricky areas, they managed to lay the film cleanly to the edges. This makes a huge difference in avoiding dirt lines, potential lift points, and other issues over time. They were able to schedule me within about a week of my initial outreach, and throughout the process they were professional, friendly, and delivered excellent value for the work. I've taken my cars to Benchmark for years. My '12 Mini Cooper S, my '16 Audi allroad, and more-recently my '88 Porsche 911. I was originally looking for specifically a shop that applies XPEL products, and while I found that with Benchmark, I also found a great small business run by Good People. They've been a joy to work with every single time, and I'm happy that there have been several times we've gotten to work together. My allroad and 911 have gotten a front-end PPF treatment, and all surfaces have been coated with XPEL Fusion ceramic coating. Both have been through several hours of paint correction. I only have good before & after photos of the 911, but I'll post them here. The 911's paint looked good when I dropped it off, especially for a 35-year old car, but it had been loved and washed many times over the years leaving swirlies that were quite visible if you looked closely or the sun caught the car just so. When I picked the car up, it looked like it was freshly dipped in black paint and left to dry in a dust-free room. Amazing. read more

*****AVOID**** I take a lot of pride in my vehicle and it takes a lot of trust to hand the keys over and hope that your vehicle is safe and secure. Benchmark destroyed that trust by damaging my Audi. I did the walk around and noticed that the trunk wasn't latched. Turned the vehicle on and a loud alarm alerted to it. Opened the lift gate and it opened about 40%, when it closed it would bounce as it slammed into the vehicle. Even more shocking, there was even more visible damage in the cargo area. The guy checking us out wasn't well trained or good at customer service. My husband asked to speak to the owner and he identified himself as the owner. The owner was making excuses like "oh, well I didn't personally damage your vehicle" uhh, you're the company owner? The former YOU damaged my vehicle. ‍ He also claimed they had "no idea" about this issue. How could that be true? It's not. The vehicle was alarming that the vehicle was damaged, that would have been so when Benchmark was driving my vehicle around as well. Benchmark was hoping we would just take our keys and walk away without noticing. And that might have been true except there were so many dash alarms and noises I couldn't even drive off the property. Very very disappointed in the response from Benchmark. I used to hold them in high regard, but their inability to navigate an issue like this has completely destroyed my trust. read more

I was super careful picking a place to work on my car and after careful review I decided on these guys and they performed another 5-star job for me along with other reviews. The side of my car's rear quarter panel was scraped off and I needed to take out the old clear bra, apply touch up paint, then reapply new clear bra. About four months ago, my car was side-swiped with superficial marks left on the right side back quarter panel. I'd had Benchmark do new car detailing (paint protector, vinyl protection on leading edges) on my car when I first purchased it in 2019. I tried to "buff" the marks out but couldn't. Made an appointment for my brand new 2018 WRX to get Opticoat Pro+ to help protect the soft paint Subaru is known for. Booked an appointment a few weeks in advance so I could borrow their loaner car. The loaner car ended up being a Ford Focus which really cut down gas use which was nice. It even had Bluetooth with decent sound systems and air climate control; it just blew me away that it wasn't the typical loaner car you get that has no features, and horrible mileage. Picked up my car a few days later after they had let the Opticoat cure enough, and man was I amazed. The car looked completely different than when I got it, it looked way better compared to when I drove it off the lot a week ago! The original red on my car is now a deeper red and it looks stunning with the gloss. The team at Benchmark even went the extra mile and got behind the license plate, and every nook and cranny on the car. They even got the exhaust tips done, even though they know it won't last that long. My tires were dressed and even my wheels got a coating of Opticoat, I thought it would just be the body of the car. Really recommend using their services, their attention to detail and thoroughness is amazing here. Any questions I had were answered completely, and the warranty for the Opticoat was already set up for me. They even give out a free complimentary hand wash 2 weeks later to see if the Opticoat has cured properly. Highly impressed with the service here and would definitely refer people here. read more

I somehow got ripped off... their website states $40 for a carwash for a sedan. I somehow get charged $85. I probably should have refuted it at the time, but it all went down so weird it caught me off guard, and at a price i did not expect. Not to mention, the windows were not even washed well... (it didnt look like it was washed at all actually) When I went to pick up my car, the lady at the front desk ... (with a baby. By her tone/attitude, and the fact that she had a baby with her, Im assuming she was the owner or related to the owner. and TO BE CLEAR! idc she had a baby with her. And she was NOT rude at all. in fact, was pleasant. What i mean by her tone/attitude was that she seemed confident in what she was saying/doing)... asks me "did the servicer give you a quote before your appointment?" I said no, assuming it was going to be in the ballpark of $40 as listed on their website. she says "how does $85 sound?". caught off guard, and completely not thinking, (because I assumed the value was going to be in the $40 range), i handed her my card. Paid and went on my way. thats when it hit me, shouldnt it have been 40-50? overall, weird business model. very shady. but good front side business customer service manners. I'm incredibly impressed by the results of a paint restoration and touch up that Benchmark did for my 17 year old Lexus. When I brought it in the black paint was married by streaks and scratches that seemed irreparable. A day later I got the car back and it looks like new, glistening with the youth that left it's past so long ago. Took my brand new '19 Elantra GT N Line for window tint and full frontal film paint protection. Called 2 other shops and Katie's quote was the highest but not by a substantial amount. The value added though was their ability to provide a loaner car since the work would take 2 days to complete. This eliminates the hassle of taking rideshare services or having someone pick/drop you off. Upon arriving at their shop, I was impressed on its impeccable cleanliness. The garage is meticulously organized. And to no surprise, my car looked great upon completion! Granted my car is not an exotic breed like the Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, etc, it was nice to hear from Katie that several folks admired it while it was being worked on. Benchmark made it right! After I brought my Toyota Tacoma there for a complete interior and exterior detail where it had turned out pretty horrible...they contacted me to make it right. Apparently the shop manager who had performed the detail previously, no longer works for Benchmark...good decision team . They called and asked if they could detail my truck which I had already sold by that time and so they ended up detailing my 4Runner instead at no cost to me. They provided a rental car for the 2 days while detailing the interior and exterior of my SUV...definately unexpected. After all said and done, the 4Runner turned out great!!! It looked and smelled brand new and I couldn't find a spec of dirt on it. Thank you guys. I gave my Mazda3 car for complete detailing. I got appointment two weeks after I made the call for availability. The detailed cleaning was done so well. I am impressed. They changed my car number plate also which was wrongly placed with the one at front should have been at the rear. Also, all the items in the dashboard and trunk are neatly placed in a zip lock and kept safely in the car. Very professional. Only thing is price could have been $50 less. First off, I'm not one of those guys that does a lot of these reviews, surveys or that sort of stuff. I do respond to some to the Google requests as that is easy, mindless and I can do it on my phone with a couple of key strokes. But where I sit down in front of a computer and type up a review. Not really what I do. But. . . . This is a return visit for me. A couple of years ago a friend suggested that when a new vehicle came into my life I should take it to Benchmark for a wrap. I had not done that in the past or even thought about vehicle wrap. Then that special day came and the 2019 RDX was purchased. The dealership was giving me the sales pitch of putting on a clear protection cover that would basically protect about 12 inches of the front hood and the cost was like a lot of money. As you can tell we did not go down that path. Instead we showed up on Benchmark's doorstep and for a few dollars more a total wrap on the wife's 2019 RDX was done. An outstanding job. Now to the recent experience. What can I say - wow - Benchmark went above and beyond what was expected of them. I'm more than impressed with the service and the quality of work provided on my truck. As Benchmark had gone above and beyond what was expected of them I wanted to do something more that just a couple of keystrokes on my phone. During this "Covid difficulty" our family has really been trying to avoid big impersonal box stores and work with our local businesses. The level of service received by Benchmark, a local business was second to none. A truly fantastic experience. Proof of why we like working with local people. A TERMENDOUS SHOUT OUT to Cory, Mike, Katie and the team at Benchmark. I took my, baby, a 2021 Chev 3500 Crew cab long box in for a total clear wrap before it had 1,000 miles on it. Caveat: I only know a little about Benchmark, specifically Brad. What I do know I think speaks volumes. I drove my wife's car for a fill up, going over a bump in the process. When I came home, to my horror I found paint scrapes on the passenger side! I just felt a bump, not a scrape. OMG! The next morn I checked our insurance, got an estimate in four figures from a body shop. Wow! Then I sought a second opinion from Benchmark. That's where I met Brad. He looked at the passenger side,, opined that it seemed just to be paint transfer, brought out acetone and a rag and proceeded to rub it out...at no charge. I told him he just saved my marriage. So, you see, I can't speak to the quality of Benchmark's detailing; just to the quality of the personnel. Specifically Brad. He gets five stars. (Addendum: Later the same day my wife took out a paper towel and Windex and headed for her car...and was surprised to find the paint scrapes gone. (I was surprised to find she knew about them; I had taken care of everything before she took her car to work. (It turns out I wasn't at fault at all. The scrapes had appeared days ago. I used Benchmark to get STEK DYNOshield for my full bumper, headlights, fog lights, side mirrors, hood and fender as well as apply Opti-Coat Pro to all faces, apply Opti-Guard to all interior pieces, and they were even able to arrange Window Tinting for me to be done at the same time so that I didn't have to take the brand new 2019 Honda Pilot to somewhere else. Katie was extremely easy to work with, they were flexible on when I could drop off the car, and even worked with me to ensure that I was able to pick up the car on a date that was convenient for me because of my work schedule. The car looked absolutely amazing when it was completed, you can't even tell that there is DYNOshield film on it hood and fenders due to the fact that the wrap the film around the edges so that there are no visible seams. Bought my 2017 Jeep SRT brand new but after it's first washed, I realized it had very aggressive scratches all over the entire car. I met Mike couple years ago at a car show and knew he was a stand up guy and his shop had a great reputation. So I made an appointment for a 3 stage paint correction. Met with Cory on the day of my appt and went over everything. He was surprised how bad of shape my paint really was, but it's amazing how great the car turned out, 100% perfect. Couldn't be happier with everything and will also be returning for the Xpel front wrap after noticing the rock chips. I stopped by benchmark without an appointment of any kind, to inquire about getting my front seats and door upholstery shampooed. They were working on other vehicles when I arrived so I figured I would need to make an appointment and come back at a later time, wrong! The took care of me(my car) right away. Not only did they do a great job with what I had asked them to do, but they went above and beyond. They removed soot from my bumper around my exhaust tips and they detailed the interior of my car including my dash, floor mats, shift boot, center console etc. They basically cleaned the whole cockpit for me!
