My beautiful Delphine had her old stripes taken off, then new stripes and a roof wrap were installed along with two peacock feathers. The stripes and roof wrap are Chameleon colored and run the color gamut from purple, red violet, gold yellow, green and teal blue depending on the light. My baby has to wear an ugly, clunky helmet for a little while because he has a flat spot on the back of his head. Needless to say, I was not thrilled to learn this. Strangers made some inappropriate comments when they saw it that broke my heart. But then Wicked Wraps totally changed that for us. They wrapped my son's helmet, for free, in the most adorable design. They let us choose a theme and then created a custom design just for us. My family loves to sail, so we chose a sailing theme. We dropped the helmet off for a few hours, and when we returned they unveiled the decorated helmet. And WOW!!! It is amazing. I can't believe the love and attention to detail they put into my little guy's helmet. It has made a world of difference in how I feel about the darn thing, because now it's a cute accessory that I can coordinate his outfits with rather than an ugly medical device. And strangers react totally differently. People don't stare anymore, and the only unsolicited comments we've gotten since it was wrapped have been about how cute it is. I wasn't sure how well a wrap would adhere to the helmet since my baby crawls around and bonks it into everything, but it still looks brand new after a month of abuse. Absolute worst experience. Wrap started coming off within 2 years. Contacted Wade more than once and was told that since it was done when his dad owned the company up in Marysville that he would do nothing even though he's the one that did the wrap and its the same company. My son has a cranial helmet for treatment plagiocephaly which requires him to wear a helmet for 23 hours,a day.
