It was later in the day when I went in, so some of the cases were not as full as I would imagine they are in the morning. However, I was still able to get myself a chocolate chip muffin to have for breakfast the next day. The muffin was hands down one of the best I've had! I put it in the microwave for a few seconds and enjoyed every bite! I definitely want to get back there earlier in the day and try other pastries and bakery items.

I picked the toffee chocolate chip and the lemon sugar cookie. The toffee CCC had a crunchy exterior (probably from the melted toffee) which elevated the usual chocolate chip cookie. The lemon sugar cookie was soft in texture which I liked. I wouldn't have minded a little more lemon taste but it was still good. If this bakery were near where I live, I'd go every week!

However, with long lines for the oysters, having dessert first was not a hardship. Many of us agreed it was a great decision. Their spectacular flavors are delicious and the service is great. I was adventurous today and instead of my usual chocolate fudge, I branched out this time to the Almond Joy. Both flavors are equally fabulous and next time I will have to get a scoop of each. Both she and the baker said that the order we entered would be a LOT of cake and would result in massive leftovers. We would not have space in our fridge for that much leftover cake. I appreciated the fact that Kyra was honest and gave us a good recommendation as opposed to trying to sell us more than what we needed. That type of professional honesty results in repeat customers.
