Saw this cute place on IG. Never knew it was in town. I love candy apples ever since I was a kid getting one from all the fairs and festivals. This is a whole new level! I was really indecisive on which one to get because they all looked really good! Lots of different ones to choose from! My daughter really liked the marshmallow wands! She ate hers up. After seeing a gigantic flag, with the letters printed chocolate, we knew we had to make a stop. It is a cute little shop with phenomenal fudge. They also have a wide selection of apples with a variety of coatings. We were a bit disappointed that it wasn't more of a chocolatier type shop, but the fudge made it worth the trip. read more

We've been coming to Apples Ect for a couple years now. I was pregnant and craving a Carmel apple. I didn't want to burn my house down, so I googled and found Michelle's shop! So glad I did! We've ordered Carmel apples as 'Thank You's' for my baby shower, work staff during the holidays & gifts for my sons first birthday party! Michelle and her staff do extraordinary work. You pick the colors, style and they wrap them all up in a pretty bow and tag and your guests will be fighting over them! The staff there are always so kind and friendly. Michelle remembers us by name and always asks how my son William is. She treats us like family. I love coming into the shop and getting treats for my friends and family, this is a wonderfully run Branford business. read more

Ordered pizza next door so stopped in here to check it out. Great selection, really cute gourmet shop! Fresh popcorn, marshmallows & confections and of course APPLES! HUGE apples! Stuffed, caramel & chocolate dipped with mega choices of toppings apples! Yes they are pricey, but they are HUGE, delicious and super FRESH! Loved the stuffed strawberry shortcake one! Tried the sugar cookie & bacon cheddar popcorn flavors. The bacon one had too much of a fake, liquid smoke flavor that we didn't like. The sugar cookie was sweet & tasted ok but I didn't think it was sugar cookie flavor. I would try other flavors next time. I also got a mini candy apple, but for some reason the candy coating had a burnt taste to it. Maybe I just got a bad one? Service was very friendly & welcoming. Um, it was really amazing and of great quality. Googled places for caramel apples and chose Apples Etc because it had a high rating. Glad I picked it. The apples are delicious and so many different toppings to choose from. Also has pretzels, chocolate covered oreos, rice krispie treats. Great variety to make a nice gift basket or just give the apples as a gift. They are huge and very yummy. I gave one to 6 of my friends and they all wanted to know where I got them. Apples Etc is a definite keeper. read more

I went here because I have heard some friends talking about how great this place was. It is a nice little specialty shop. However, I was really surprised how expensive it was. I think I spent around $15.00 for a chocolate covered apple. The apple was good, but I do not think that I would spend another $15.00 on an apple. The service was ok. The do have some other items that look great like gourmet popcorn. They also advertised a chocolate covered bacon that they did not have stock. To wrap up my summary, I would probably come back to try some of their other stuff, I just hope it is priced a little better than their apples. read more

Whenever I crave chocolate this is were I end up! The "Midnight Snack" apple is to die for. Every time I stop in the owners have created a new gourmet apple which makes my decisions even harder! The apples are huge. They are loaded with toppings and they stay fresh in the fridge for a month...so I'm told- not that they last longer than a day in our house! They also have dipped Oreos, pretzel rods and a huge wall of gourmet popcorn. Their Pina Colada popcorn is so addicting! Give Apples Etc "Sweet to the core" a try. This place is so good! If your in the area you should stop by. I love the fact that I can get chocolate/Carmel covered apples all year long. I have bought these for gifts and every time I go, I buy at least one if not two for myself. I stopped in one time and the owner was making a bunch of apples for a Bridal shower. Oh how I love this store!! The gourmet apples are HUGE and covered in Lindt chocolate and loaded with high-quality toppings. Every time I walk in, it takes me forever to decide what flavor to try next. The owner is constantly testing new flavors and she is so creative and friendly. I especially love to see what she makes during the holidays. My family counts on me to bring the apples for our holiday gatherings for both sharing and even as gifts. Easter and Christmas are especially great because I can always count on that store for stocking stuffers/Easter basket fillers for my kids/family. My husband goes crazy for the chocolate covered peanut butter oreos. I know they also do fundraising and parties/showers/weddings with really cute ideas. The average apple price is around $10-12 which is great. Especially considering one apple is more than enough for my family of four but I never can take home just one- No way, they're too good!!!!! Apples etc was highly recommended, so we had to check out the hype! My husband and I drove to the store on a Tuesday. We didn't realize but they were closed due to the snow that we had that morning. Saturday of the same week we figured we would head back. Yippee, they were open and we get to try theses apples. My husband and I walked into the store and smelled the over whelming yummy scent of chocolate and apples. We were immediately greeted by a very sweet woman ( I believe maybe she was the owner) she explained the apples and fan favorites, I preceded to explain that we were there on Tuesday, but they were closed. She was so sweet and said I am so sorry we closed due to the weather but I will honor Tuesdays deal today because you drove so far! How sweet is that. The decision on which Apple to choose was not an easy one. We chose the Holy Cannoli stuffed apple, the Strawberry Shortcake to give away as a gift, and the toasted almond crunch. The cannoli was very good, she gave us extra cannoli shells so we would have enough for the dip. (again how sweet of her) This Apple was very good, but in my opinion a little too sweet. The toasted almond crunch was incredibly amazing. The Apple was so fresh and juicy with all the delicious gooey Carmel, toasted almond and coconut in every bite.. it was like WOW I don't want this deliciousness to ever end... lol. My husband and I shared that Apple, but I will be sure to get my own next time. We will absolutely be back, these apples were by far the best that we have ever had. We have purchased gourmet Apples previously from QVC I will tell you these apples are by far so much tastier and fresh.
