This pizza was surprisingly wonderful on VERY busy Friday night at Branson Landing. Thin but not extremely crispy crust, fresh (or fresh tasting) toppings, ample cheese and sauce, with a delicious fresh breadstick-like outer crust that made the pie. Whatever was left on the pizza pan--cheese, toppings, sauce--you could sop up with that delicious outer crust and, well, BOOM. We came to this restaurant starving for pizza and this place did not disappoint- the pizza was great! The service however, was sub par at best. We barely got any attention at our table. We received 2 plates for a table of 3. No napkins. They had coloring menus for the children but my son did not receive one and kept looking longingly at the other children for his pack. A couple days later we thought we could give it another shot and ordered a pizza to go. By the time we got there, they had forgotten our order and had not even started the order yet! I love me some Mellow Mushroom! We ate at the new location on the Branson Landing recently. My sister and I shared the bruschetta and the house special pizza. Both were delicious! The bruschetta had a wonderful toasted bread that was soft and yet also crunchy. The pizza crust was perfection and the toppings were all fresh and delicious. Our service was very good. Our waitress was nice and attentive and the manager came to visit our table once to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The prices are a little high but compared to some of the other food in the area it isn't that much more than what you'd spend at the restaurants around town and I think you'll enjoy the food enough that the price won't really matter. The decor is funky and the restaurant is split into a bar area and a more restaurant style seating. We didn't try any of their alcoholic drinks but I'd like to come back some time and try them as well. This is a great restaurant chain you can find in southern states and I am so glad we have one in our backyard now! read more

A group of us needed a place to feed a group of about 16 for a youth soccer weekend. Manager seemed a bit flustered about handling a group that was split up over 5 tables and had adults and kids. Food was good but the server we had was great and handled the tables and orders with speed and accuracy!! Food was fresh and hot but the manager set a negative tone from the start. Groovy little place has a lot of seating. Great place to catch the chiefs game! Or any other game. This place has a lot of tvs! A full size bar with anything you can think of. Fast service! This place was really full and we got seated fairly quick and placed our order and received it really quick. We got a large half buffalo chicken with ranch swirl and the other half was house which is like a supreme. It has whole tomato halves huge pieces of bacon throughout. Really good pizza. I tried this place with my mom and we ordered the mushroom pizza. Hands down the best pizza crust I have ever tasted. The flavor of the white sauce was amazing. We also ordered a Greek salad which was also really yummy. The service was great, our servers name was Dale, he was super attentive and friendly. Here in Branson for the holiday, stopped by to grab a bite to eat after shopping before heading back to our condo. But were told at 8:24pm they wouldn't take us because they were too full, but they had 4 booths open that people could have been seated in. We were extremely disappointed especially since the didn't close until 9 or 10. A restaurant shouldn't stop taking customers until closing, especially on a busy holiday week. Both pizzas were great and quick service. Server could not care less about customer service though. Plopped the plates down and plopped the pizzas down and left. Had to ask twice for drink refills. Sat near the bar and had the most putrid smell emanating from the bar area. Rotten food smell with rotten fruit and really old beer spill smell. I'm no prude but this restaurant isn't that old to be smelling that bad. Fountain drinks are way overpriced, $3.20 for a mediocre soda. Weeellllll, the building was really cool! It's bright and clean looking and has awesome garage doors that you can open up to be inside/outside. The decor is awesome, it "looks" like a fun place! But: (I know, always a but) ... ya can't base it off looks alone. It wasn't very awesome actually. My party of 4 fam, (2 adults- 2 children) came in just for a drink. The place maybe had a dozen tables seated. It was not busy, our server was seriously annoyed by his job or annoyed that we were customers- not sure. Whatever. We order our drink... which by the way they have really cute frozen daiquiri names and they all sound so good. But not one frozen non-alcoholic drink. Seriously!? My frozen drink, called the Gummy Bear- was delish. My husband ordered a beer and then our server came back (the waiter was so annoyed by this) and said they were out of that beer. I wish there were 2 ratings. One for service and one for food. We showed up a little after 9pm and they didn't know what to do since they close at 10pm. They made us sit at the bar instead of the other tables because they acted like we were a liability. The bartender basically threw the menus at us like we were a burden. I couldn't believe it then she went over to another couple at the bar and she was rude to them. They left and she came over in front of the couple next to me and claimed she was stiffed by them. I overheard her say she was from Denver but left because of personal issues that I won't mention. I went to the hostess and asked for another table and by the time the manager figured it out my wife already put our order in. It's odd behavior because the best job is usually bartenders job and the service is usually the best. At the end I tipped like I usually do because I think she needed help and had some issues causing her difficulty in her job. The mellow mushrooms in Florida and North Carolina are awesome. I would think maybe the owner should come in and work at the bar if they cannot find better help. Maybe they should close the service part and run their business like a self-serve restaurant because when it's this bad it's hard to eat. The pizza gets 5 stars. read more

This place is very expensive! I sat down to eat a light lunch a small pizza sounded great! 10$ for a small pizza just cheese! If you wanted like a supreme pizza or anything els it's 14$+! There menu was very packed with all sorts of stuff. I got a half salad with honey ham, ham, black olives, croutons and blue cheese and the ham was super sweet it was not good. The unsweetened tea costed me 2.50$ I feel that's a little high. I don't recommend going there I seen there was lots of mix drinks (high 1$). There service sucked and took 20 minutes for a half salad! And I only seen my server once! When he seated us and when we had to pay. I had 2 different people weight are table. The only thing I liked was the creative painting and how they had paper straws instead of plastic. read more

We were on vacation July in Branson. We had a party of 6 with 2 small children . We see 6 empty tables and think there will not be a wait. Wrong. This guy acting as the frontman tells us there is a one hour wait. I tell him we can see all of the available tables and he gets an attitude. We sat outside and watched 1 of those tables get sat while the other 5 were empty for the hour we waited. We finally got sat at a table for 10, way too big for us. Thank God the waitress was great! Food was Great. Awesome Pizza. I was a restaurant manager and you want asses in seats. This guy lost a lot of money for this establishment. Owners need to oversee who they hire to make managerial decisions. Middle aged man with slight beard was the doorman. Name tag was covered. Way too many people were on a wait list for nothing.
