Hot, fresh, fast. I bought a large 2 topping pizza with 2 add on cups of garlic butter and with delivery it was $24. The special was $12. So a good bit on tax and delivery. Boyfriend ordered a pepperoni pizza and bread sticks online through their page, came over half an hour late (after already waiting an hour), then when it finally did show up, the dude said they forgot the breadsticks and just kinda shrugged. Tried calling the store, could never get through until a couple hours later. Opened the box and had the wrong pizza. After finally reaching them, dude on the line said in order to get our money back, he's going to make the delivery driver pay out of pocket since it was his mess up. I have to say one star is way to much for the service and quality I got. I ordered one pizza at 8:45 and it didn't show up until 10:42. No big deal. I could have been fine with just a late pizza. Maybe the traffic was bad or an accident on the road. That wasn't the case just crappy service. The pizza was cold, hard, and not even cut. The lack of care this place has is ridiculous. You could tell by looking at the pizza there was no attempt to cut it at all. I will have to say I honestly will not ever order or eat at a papa Johns again. Ordered online 6-1-2019. Pizza was made and delivered in under 45 minutes. Driver was very friendly and remembered to bring the plates and forks we requested (Since we were staying in a hotel). The pizza was on point, as usual, seemed to have more cheese than normal which is never a bad thing for us. We had the garlic breadsticks, they were a little overdone but nothing bad enough to cost them a star. The cookie for dessert was a hit with the kiddos. Finally checked Papa John's, and the complaints were not about the food. Only had it once before and that was some time ago. Ordered The Works and it was pretty darn good! Fresh tasting ingredients, tender crust, yummy. Picked it up ourselves, the store was very busy, but the staff was very friendly. Didn't order extras so nothing was missing and we received complimentary dipping sauce, Parmesan cheese and peppers with our order. All good. read more

I ordered the Papa's Meal Deal with A Large Pizza with Extra Pepperoni, Garlic Knots and a 2 Liter of Pepsi. I also ordered a Double Chocolate Chip Brownie. I ordered this last night at 8:30, delivery time according to their estimated wait time online said 29-39 minutes. 9:45, still no food, I call and she tells me it's on the way. 10:15, the food finally arrives. There is garlic sauce all over all of the boxes as he is handing them to me. I did not notice at first that he forgot the Pepsi. I try calling back for 10 minutes, nobody answers! My husband keeps calling and finally gets through after another 5 minutes of calling and calling, she says the driver will come back with the Pepsi. Well the Pepsi didn't come until 12:11am, almost 2 hours after getting the food and I only know this because he left me a text message, we were already sleeping by then. Back to the state of the food: Our extra pepperoni pizza was NOT EXTRA PEPPERONI and it was not even cut all the way through. We had to go over it again with a pizza cutter. Our brownie was not cut at all. The sauce that gets poured onto the garlic knots was ALL OVER the box it came in along with the other two boxes, totally messy. Papa John's is usually one of my favorite pizza places but this location was extremely disappointing. We were looking forward to the usual great food we get from Papa John's but we were very unhappy with what we got last night. Lame. read more

Staying in town for my daughter's birthday, we decided to have Papa John's Pizza as we typically do when we come to Branson. The service was prompt this time... except that it was completely the wrong order. I didn't even check the boxes or labels until after the delivery man left. You know, a pizza box and a side box.... plus, it's a pizza delivery - it's not hard. When I went to serve my hungry family, I was disappointed to discover that it was not my order at all. Recently ordered from here. When I got my pizza back to my room, my order was no where near right. I also go charged for stuff I did not receive. I should have checked before I drove away. I did try to call and complain twice but no answer. I emailed customer service from the we age and immediately got emailed back from someone named Nick who told me he would give me a free three topping pizza for the mix up. He was prompt and very nice in the email. So when I left the next day I picked up my free pizza. It was amazing good. I will say they one of the best supreme pizzas out there. Wanted a thin crust medium pizza was told can only do thin crust in a large pizza. "Okay, I'll take a large thin crust then." The guy gets here on time (yay-that's what's expected. No brownie points really for that). I ask for Parmesan and peppers. Was told "we don't carry that in our cars anymore because it has to be Refrigerated." I know better. The little packages are hermitically sealed and don't have to be refrigerated unless they are opened or maybe storing them for years(who knows). I said you could bring them to the store and if you didn't use them you could put them back in the refrigerator. Nope, couldn't do that, too much trouble. Got up to the room (staying at a hotel)and took a bite...... not thin crust! That figures. Gave the lazy excuse filled delivery driver who took the order and delivered it 2 bucks anyway. We called at 1.5 hours and she said we should get pizza any second. When pizza did come 2 hours later, it was lukewarm and the pizza box was all smashed into our pizza. We had waited so long at that point we ate the pizza, then my son ended up with diarrhea in the night and the next morning. Not going to order from them again. BIG disappointment for our last night. The pizza I've had from PJ's in Branson has been very good. No complaints. But, I would also like to respond to the reviewer who complained about not being given an accurate delivery time. My husband and I live in Indiana, where he has worked a second job at PJ's delivering pizza for over 20 years. Here, a delivery time estimate can be fairly accurate. If there is an accident, or delay, there is normally a way to get around it. Not true in Branson, especially when shows are letting out, or people are trying to get to a show. I have lived and worked in Branson in the past and we have vacationed in Branson many, many times, at various times of the year. I noticed the poster was there at the very height of the tourist season. When you get stuck in traffic in Branson (the norm during tourist season), there is usually no way out, no way around, and no way to predict how long you will be stuck. There is nothing a delivery driver can do about it. I'm sure they tried to give you an accurate estimate, but that is all it is--an estimate. There are too many variables. Under the circumstances, being off by less than half an hour doesn't seem too bad. read more

This place is nasty. The guy making pizzas wiped his nose!! No gloves! The manager looked stoned and the wall says their meat is 10% meat. Im sure a 0 went missing, but still......who knows? It seemed seriously understaffed which leaves me wondering either why no one wants to work there or if whoever schedules doesnt know their butthole from a hole in the ground. We ordered online while staying at the local Hampton Inn which is on the same street. They delivered right to the hotel room door. The food was actually great and the brownies they sell are pretty good as well. The only problem was the email I received after ordering from the app said it would be 30 to 45 minutes and it was actually over an hour before we got our food. It was a Saturday night but you'd think it would give a better estimate of time than this or at least send me a message or call letting me know it's not even going to be close to the estimated time. read more

THE worst customer service experience I have EVER had. When we did not receive our pizza after 50 minutes we called just to make sure it was coming. We were told it was "en route". After an hour and a half my husband called and was immediately put on hold for another 20 minutes and no one picked up. I called in the interim and refused to be put on hold. I spoke with someone who said that they would be happy to provide us with a pizza the next day instead. I explained that we were on vacation and we did not want a pizza the next day and could they please send one asap. The answer was no. They were physically unable to deliver a pizza to us even though we were LITERALLY staying 500 feet behind their location. read more
