Pizza ranch is currently located in a building which has had many previous restaurants in it. The food at pizza ranch is reminiscent of a Cicis pizza but half the quality and four times the price. Be aware each adult will cost you 17.75pp. Whew that's steep. The pizza was, well, what you would expect for cheap quick made to order frozen pizza. My recommendation would be to get this price down closer to 9.99 per person or at most 12.99 for adults. I am not sure if it is higher due to inflation or just the owner operators choice, but I don't think I will be recommending it to adults at this price point. I am not sure what a kids price is but there is an arcade for the kids to occupy themselves. TLDR: skip the buffet and just order a large pizza MTO from a local pizza joint. read more

First time at this pizza ranch. Price for four (3 adults one child) was $65. Seemed a tad on the high side. Restaurant was clean. Salad bar was a little underwhelming, could use more options. They had a number of different pizzas out and plenty of chicken. Overall, it was ok. Not the best buffet in town but did hit the spot. read more

Pizza was good. Dessert pizza was okay. Service was not so good. We should've checked our pizzas at the restaurant before taking them home to make sure the order was right. That's our fault for not double-checking. The order was not right, but upon calling back (maybe 15-20 minutes after pick up), whoever answered let us know they were closed and couldn't (and wouldn't) help us. That wasn't cool. Food was good Service, buffet style was unmonitored. Children were picking up pieces of pizza and then putting them back. First of all, why are the parents not teaching their children to use utensils. You touch it it's yours or throw it away. I'm actually surprised the food height of the buffet isn't higher to keep children from self serving. We have very high numbers of Norovirus nation wide. Very contagious. Causes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramping for days. This is the virus that causes most food poisoning. Contaminated fingers, coughing and sneezing by food as well as foods not properly cleaned and cooked. Be careful out there! read more

Arrived at Pizza Ranch at 40 minutes before closing. All the doors were locked and the only door lit up had two signs that were to be read from the inside designating entrance and exit. Other hot items in the buffet are mostly "ok". They do have a stuffing and gravy...that was better than average. It maybe isn't the kind grandma makes....but does provide an alternative to the lack-luster pizza. If you want pizza in the area of Branson....hands down, here are the best pizza places in the area. All are worth driving to no matter where you're at in the area: 1. Mr. Gilberti's in Hollister. Town next door to Branson. 2. Pizza by The Chef in Hollister. " " " " 3. Mr G's in downtown Branson. All these suggested places can accommodate a large family group. I've listed the places in order by preference/overall quality. The cleanest and tastiest Pizza Ranch I've ever been to. We happened to pick a night that the local firefighters were fundraising and they were all so kind and worked hard bussing tables. The staff and volunteers even sang happy birthday to my son when they heard it was his birthday. Perhaps one of the nicest restaurant experiences I've had. I appreciate that PR is quite good but it is quite similar to another pizza and fried chicken buffet place that Marlon Brando might prefer. But as far as variety goes a two-lettered pizza buffet place has a little more on PR here in Branson, and they have an arcade as well. Pizza Ranch for the win. You pay $13.14 for the weekend and weekday dinner buffet that will blow others away. There's the pizza half of the buffet which includes regularly rotating toppings and specialty pizzas. When the restaurant is full, they are popping them out fast and fresh. Then there's the "ranch" part (I'm assuming like a farmer's ranch and not ranch dressing) which includes southern favorites like potatoes, green beans, corn, biscuits, fried chicken, etc. I wasn't expecting much knowing this is a pizza place but wow-- it is more. I would come back for the endless juicy and crispy fried chicken. They have a nice salad, coffee, and ice cream bar too. The only thing I didn't like was the actual ranch. Was able to give a special order and had a whole pizza made for us. As good as buffet pizza gets. Many varieties of pizza, already made. Had good potato wedges and my friend liked his waffle style fries. About ten flavors of Coca-Cola Company soda including Mr. Pibb and Cherry Coke. Had rolls with gravy. Had ice milk (not ice cream), only available in vanilla. All three of us ate too much, but we liked it. Everything, including the bathrooms were very clean. There were employees who were constantly cleaning. Make sure to use COUPONS. You can get one dollar off, for a buffet, in almost any Branson coupon book. We had a card that gave us two dollars off the buffet. We will visit Pizza Ranch again on our next trip to Branson. I think it should be named, "Chicken and Pizza Buffet," That name says more than the name they are using. read more

Very disappointed that no one in the entire place was wearing a mask... no server, no bus person, no cashier.... No safety precautions were seen being made by anyone. Everyone eating food with fingers and then using those same fingers on all the tongs to grab more food. If you are going here to eat.. bring hand sanitizer (they had one in the front but it was empty) and gloves! Food was decent. Chicken was the best thing on menu. Chocolate chip dessert was burnt. Now I know why my son loves this place when he's on the road. I really liked the variety of pizzas and the fact that you can special order your own no matter how crazy you crave it. What stood out most to me here was the fried chicken and loaded mashed potatoes! I ate until I was about to bust I had the best dessert pizza and ice cream and got to polish it off with hazelnut coffee and cream. If I'm ever back in Branson I'll definitely swing by again for good food, friendly staff and I can't forget to give a big shout out to Doug this restaurant's wonderful manager! read more

It wasn't our favorite. The pizzas were bland. One caveat was that you can ask for them to make the kind you want and they will do so providing you with a buzzer to know when it is available (It does take a bit of time - seemed long - for it to cook) The Chicken buffet area was good - better flavors there. I was disappointed in the salad bar in that the lettuce was turning brown so I waited for a new batch to arrive and it too was turning. The dessert pizzas had one outstanding version in the cinnamon kind. The soft-serve ice cream was OK but would be better with a few toppings offered. The arcade was fun but small and pricey. I don't know that I would return. I definitely would not seek them out at any other locations. read more

I'm a fried chicken lover and was told by a local that this place had some of the best in town. A pizza place? So we gave it a try and became believers! The fried chicken comes out often enough to stay hot and fresh (at busy times) and they even separate the breasts from the other pieces for people who prefer dark or white. The fried potato slices are good and the salad bar is fresh and adequate. And, this may come as a surprise, but the pizza is decent, too. In summation, I go there now for the fried chicken, sides and salad. Although I wouldn't list it as my favorite pizzeria, if you want more than pizza (hint, hint - fried chicken) then this is a nice choice. Bonus: the staff are nice people, too! read more

For the price ($70 for a family of 4), I would have thought the food would have been a lot better. The soup was baked into the bottom of the pot, the chicken fries were similar to chicken jerky, and some of the pizza appeared to have been out for some time. The breadsticks were hard, mashed potatoes were ok, the fried chicken was passable though incredibly greasy, but the steak fries were actually pretty good. I'm only giving this establishment 1 star, because I have to, to write a review. We were in this establishment on Saturday night. When we entered, it was 8:00pm. I asked the cashier how late they were open, she told me 9:00. We had a party of 8. After paying, we sat down and went to the bar. There was food there, but it looked as though it had been there all night. 3 of us decided not to eat, I went to the register and let them know that 3 of our party wasn't going to eat, and I needed to get refunds for the three. Let the cashier know that the bar looked as if the food had been sitting there all night. She assured me it hadn't, and refunded the 3 that weren't eating. Went back to the table and sat while waiting for those that chose to eat. 15 minutes into our visit, a male employee, came to our table and removed one plate. Stood at our table, leaned his arm up on our booth and started asking where we were from etc. My spouse told him we had one plate and excused him. 5 minutes later we have another plate picked up by a female that was bussing tables. She leaves. 5 minutes after that here comes the first male picks up another plate and stands there and stares at us. Very creepy and uncomfortable. After he finally leaves. I took the three kids into the arcade to play a few games while the rest of our table was finishing up eating. I'm there about 10 minutes when my daughter comes back and tells me that this same male came back to the table twice since we had gone into the arcade. I'd entered the arcade around 8:30. When she came in there, I looked at the clock on my phone, and it was 8:43. She proceeded to tell me how this man the last time he came to our table told them it was time to go, that they needed their sleep too, and that they were now closed. Your business is a buffet, that we were told and is advertised was open until 9:00 pm. We left the establishment at 8:52 pm. On our way out, we asked the lady who had visited our table and removed a plate, what that employees name was and gave a description. She told us that there was no one there by that description. Ok, not true. So we went to the next person. I'd assume the cook. Since we hadn't seen him since entering. He told us that the persons name was Dominic. When we left the establishment @ 8:52 pm, there were 5 employees gathered around the back door smoking cigarettes. I am appalled by the way we were treated as well as the quality of the food that was served on the buffet. This establishment charged us $17.25 per buffet for each adult. And $1.25 per year for each child's age up to 12 years old. Which would of been fine if the food hadn't been dry, chicken overcooked. Or the fact that within 15 minutes of paying, their creepy employee started coming around talking and staring at us while trying to eat, with an end goal to remove us from the restaurant before their posted closing time. Very unprofessional, as well as rude. We had no intentions of being there past closing time. We came in with plenty of time to eat at a buffet that was already cooked and play a few games before the posted closing time. It's also extremely rude for Dominic to lean himself up on our booth staring at us while we were trying to eat and ask personal questions that are not any of his business. read more

Came here with zero expectations and 5 starving people. We vowed down!!!! The pizzas were great! If they ran out of something, you could order it and let them know how many slices you wanted abs they gave you a buzzer. When the buzzer went off, your pizza was ready and you got the first X amt of slices. GENIUS!!! Salad bar was good but could hv more options, but again, we came late so this could hv been our fault. They also had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fries, etc. something for every picky eater.....and sadly we hv a bunch of them. Drinks were great. I like sweet tea/lemonade and they were both delicious!!! Soft serve ice cream was also a hit with our crew. Put on top of the cookie pizza. OMG!!!
