Just bought a condo with a broken AC, so we reached out to Melko Air after our realtor recommended them, and we're so glad we did! We really appreciated Setrag's thorough "process of elimination" approach and his transparency when it came to pricing. He not only fixed our AC, but also took the time to share helpful advice on maintenance moving forward. We highly recommend his services and will definitely be reaching out to him for any future HVAC needs! read more

Melko Air is amazing! We moved to Granada Hills in the middle of the summer and we were not prepared for the heat. Setrag and his team got all new ducting and vents installed for us very quickly and revamped our super old A/C system, all during 100 degree weather. We couldn't be happier with the results and appreciated their efficiency and professionalism - and the price was great. Will definitely be using them for any future HVAC needs! read more

Amazing service!! Honest and very helpful. Would highly recommend. Setrag is very professional and works with Carrier the highest brand in HVAC. Great overall experience! read more

Excellent service, friendly, on time. Sedrak was able to take care of the job, where a few others in the same business told us was not possible. Highly recommended ! read more

He deserves 0 stars. Absolutely the worst, not reliable, 6 months run around. Could not fix the problem on an A/C that he originally repaired. Never called back, excuses..when called the lady who he works under her license hung up on me...will report to CSLB. Unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

Very efficient - very reliable - very reasonable in price and an honest individual. Would highly recommend.

Melko has been a trusted resource since initially assessing an existing HVAC system on an older home. When the system was ready to be replaced, Setrag and his team were able to provide quick and exceptional service at fair prices. During a recent remodel project, Melko has provided advice on expansion of an existing system and temporary relocation services on short notice. Highly recommend. read more

I've had my AC & Heater installed by Melko Air about a year and half ago and they did a very good job. I asked them few times for services so far and they have always been prompt and efficient. The whole team is excellent and Setrak is the person who did the job for me and I trust him. Overall happy with them and I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs. read more

Melko put in my AC in 2020 right in the middle of covid. Gave me the options on a new unit (which I needed...18 years old). They were fast, professional, highly responsible and so efficient. Since then, I have used them for service, most recently on the heating section on my unit. They came out within 2 hours. Had to order the part and were out the next day...earlier than the scheduled time. Melko represents total quality. It would be nice if all businesses were like Melko. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

5 stars is not enough to convey my satisfaction with Melko AC and it's owner Setrag. I had a well known AC company come in and tell me I needed to spend $1300 on a new circuit board. A friend suggested I contact Melko. Upon their prompt arrival and assessment they told me the circuit board was not wired properly and rewired it for me. The real issue as a broken part which they said was still under warranty after 8 years. They ordered the part and within 2 days we were up and running....for just a fraction of what it would have cost otherwise! High quality work and honest employees with integrity. I recommend Melko AC to anyone who appreciates those qualities. read more

My heater stopped working randomly a few days ago. Karen helped me get a service appointment scheduled right away. Seto (I think that's his name) came in and completed the job in under 30 minutes !!! I highly recommend this place. Great customer service and very efficient. read more

Definitely worth the time and money !! Safe and professional. Most punctual business and would definitely recommend to friends and family :)

Customers be aware...Anyone leaving a bad review for this business is being dishonest. Hard to find honest service businesses these days and we must support hard working and trustworthy businesses like Melko. I called 3 businesses for my AC repair and got quotes from $800 to $1400 after they looked at the AC unit. Setrag and his team came over on the same day and the issue turned out to be an electric short in the dryer fan because of a bad initial wiring by the manufacturer. Setrag did not charge for the repair! Amazing people. Thank you! read more

So glad to have found him!!! He came to us 2 years ago to fix our AC and was so nice and not only fixed but even gave us filters for us to use! This week, not only it was super hot, but i was sick and our AC would not turn on. He came and after process of elimination, 20 mins later, he fixed relay that was stuck on the board. There was also a rattling noise we were dealing with from the vent he fixed. As i reached for my purse, he said that i did not need to pay. That he was taking care of us because we r his customers. Even though our issue was quick fix, it was still 30 mins or so of his work in our HOT house. I know that any other service places would have charged me $150+ or even had me replace something~ so I was so thankful for his kindness! I would definitely be referring him to all my friends! read more

Melko has always been very prompt, and they do solid work. I've never felt like they were trying to "up sell" or overcharge me, which as a woman is something I've sadly encountered a lot from mechanics and contractors and such. Melko is transparent about each item on the bill and what it will cost before you commit to anything. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family. read more

Many years ago the home insurance company screwed me over by calling a repairman and paying for random stupid repairs on my a/c every time there was a problem. The unit was still the original when the house was built. I decided to get another opinion and Seto checked it out. He warned me it wasn't worth spending money on an old system to keep repairing, so I began to put money aside. Last week I turned on the a/c and realized after an hour it just wasn't getting cool in the house. I called Seto and he knew the a/c had finally given up. Two days later I watched the new system being lifted up to the rooftop and not long after I finally had cold air in the house. Yay!!! Thank you Seto for taking care of everything in such a short amount of time and the honesty! read more

Been doing business with Melko air for years. That alone should speak for itself. Very reliable and speedy service. We've used Melko for both business and home AC issues. We are always satisfied with service and pricing, which is why we have never needed to look for another repair service. read more

Fast, reliable and quality workmanship. Setrak arrived at my job site on time, diagnosed the problem and got the required parts to get my system working again. I highly recommend Melko AC. read more

Melko has always been there when we needed them. Air conditioners always seem to go bad right when the heat wave comes. I'm a picky customer and look for reliable companies at reasonable prices. I'm so happy I found Melko. They really go above and beyond to make sure they do the job right. Best of all they are honest and are very fairly priced. I won't go to anybody else. Thank you for the great service. It's hard to find reliable people and companies these days, but Air condition and heating is one thing I don't worry about because I know I have a company I can rely on. read more

Dishonest / Unreliable / Unethical. Seto installed my furnace, evaporator, and ducting in 2011. I thought I was paying for a brand new unit at a price tag of over $7,000. Few months after installation, he was unreachable during a heat wave to service my unit. I had to buy a stand alone AC unit from Home Depot for my 8 month old daughter's room. No service provided. Had to hire another company to service the unit. Most insulting and criminal is what I'm experiencing now - my 'supposed' brand new unit stopped working again in the middle of a rainy cold December. Around the Clock Heating and Air conditioning came to service my unit and tells me it's over 17 years old. Seto had installed used equipment and charged me $7k for it. read more

Just awesome works can't explain how great the service is they came out explained everything to me step by step and did more then what was promised I will refer them to all my friends and family for all there heating and Ac needs . They moved my Ac unit from my roof to the side of the house in 1 day thanks again you guys are great read more

I was referred to Melko Air by a friend. I had them change the A/C for my condo recently before it gets really hot and when I told them I needed to get approval from the HOA and building management, they said they know what is needed and would take care of it all for me to save me the headache. They were prompt, their work was clean and I'm glad they were referred to me. They literally took care of every possible step and were fantastic to work with! read more

We highly recommend Cedric and his crew for any heating or air conditioning work. We are sitting in our living room and are perfectly comfortable while outside it is over 100. The perfect example of what a great job Melko did. They made sure everything worked exactly the way it should. And it does. Thank you. Deborah and Bruce Ellis read more

Professional, punctual and honest. I did a Siri search and stumbled upon a great company. I cannot recommend Setrag enough!

Seto will go above and beyond for you! Great local buisness, and a lifetime of experience. Highly recommend this company!

Great service and professional ! Melko and his team clean my Ac Unit, checked it for leaks and holes. They also put more refrigerant, performed a tune up on my unit. They were punctual, did not try to upsell and where on time to the appointment read more

The most honest and reliable people I have ever found. Very responsive, completely transparent and make you feel like family. I've hired countless companies both personally and professionally and have finally found the best one. Very easy to call and get a hold of, even on the hottest days when nobody answers the phone. Thank you Melko!!! read more

I am having balancing problems with my A/C. It's hot upstairs and cold down. I saw Melko's information on the main unit because they installed it (I bought the house after they put it in). I called for an appointment and after being told I would have to pay a $140 premium (because I live 30 miles away I was given a window between 10 and 1. I took the day off of work so I could explain the problem I was having to the technician. I never heard a word from anyone, and called the office at 1:00 to get an update. I was told that even though I was on the schedule, no one was coming out today, but that I could reschedule for a couple days later. I bet if I had canceled or wasn't home, they would still bill me. No effort to make things right or get someone out even though they would be late. There are 1000 A/C companies out there that value their customers and work hard for them. Leave Melko's alone and go somewhere else. I did. read more

Not only they get job done right, but also follow up for customer's satisfaction. I wasn't getting hot air from the heater during winter storm so I called 4 different HVAC companies in the area and only Melko picked up the call. They replaced the parts in lieu of throwing sales pitch to replace the unit. I am getting hotter air now and completely satisfied. They followed up with me to see if my heater was continued to run next day. I highly recommend Melko. read more

What's worse than having an AC that doesn't work in the SoCal heatwave!? Probably nothing. Melko air conditioning made this situation a million times better. Fastest, best, most honest service I have ever received. I can proudly say I will never call anyone else. Melko is the way to go! I made an appointment with Melko for tune-up service of my central AC, plus installation of a NEST thermostat, as part of the no-cost AC Optimization Program that DWP is offering. They were great! Prompt, efficient and friendly. Setrag was extremely patient in teaching me how to operate the NEST. Even came back another day to drop off extra filters. Karen in the office was very helpful, too. Thank you Melko. read more

Melko Air Conditioning installed my AC and heating unit in 2015. They had the best price and the team. Finished work sooner than they had estimated. Cleaned everything up and since then they have serviced the unit annually. What is great about them is they came by a month ago, serviced the unit, and installed the wifi nest thermostat for free. Wow, I am really happy. I have recommended them to at least ten if my best friends read more

I've been using this Air Conditioning company for the last 3 years. They are very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I haven't had any problems since they started managing my 2 devices. I'm very satisfied and have also referred then to 4 of my friends over the last 2 years. Good job guys. read more

I've used them on my last 3 projects and will be using them again in the future as I can pass on the warranty to the new buyers. Keep up the great work guys!!! read more

My contractor suggested I use Melko. My experience with them has been a disaster form start to finish. Right now I have a split/ductless ac unit that does not work because the installation of the units was so badly done. I have been living in LA this summer with an AC unit that blows warm air. Firstly, Setrag sent two installation guys who literally had no idea what they were doing and have created such a mess that no one seems to be able to fix it. Melko now refuses to return my calls and have offered no help in trying to fix this issue, it's been over a year and my units HAVE NEVER WORKED. I even asked Melko to call Carrier about the warranty on the unit because you have to be a licensed AC company to activate the warranty....again they refused to help. Do NOT USE this company, they do not respond to customer calls and when they are done deciding to help fix the problems they created you will be on your own. I have probably paid for this unit twice over because of the amount of service calls I have had to have from other companies. This included a large hole that had to be cut into the wall to access badly installed pipework that caused water to run out of the unit and down my wall. Please be very careful if Melko tells you that they know how to install a split/ductless wall unit...they really have no clue and you will end up paying for it. AC installation is a specialised business so please make sure that you pick a company that know about proper installation, it's very hard for other companies to go back and repair problems that occurred from poor installation. FYI - I had to rate them one star in order to post the review....I would give them zero stars. read more

Melko has been our go to company for the past 22 years! It all began in November of 2000 when our daughter was born. Our heater stopped working & the house was super cold and we called 2 differernt companies to check out our heater and they could not fix it. Having a 3 day old newborn in a cold house had me in a panic. I contacted Melko and they came out super quick and actually repaired our heater very quickly. I'm happy to say MELKO was prompt, professional, and explained the situation in detail and was very fair in and did not try to over charge like the previous vendors that came out. I consider him as my daughers guardian angel/God Father! :) Ever since then I have never used anyone else. I trust them and their work. I had wanted to replace our unit and air ducts recently and they came out and did excellent work and we have not had any problems. He was honest and up front as to what type of unit we needed and the work was completed in the estimated time frame. I also appreciate that he is willing to come so far to assist with my needs. Melko is the BEST and very personable. It's nice to work with someone that makes you feel like your apart of their family!! I highly reccomend MELKO and would highly recommed their superior services.
