I had a very pleasant experience with Sam's Furniture, in large part thanks to Jackie, and the…read moredelivery guys, Mike and Charles. When I first arrived at Sam's I was greeted by Jackie. She simply said "welcome," and waited to approach until it was apparent I was ready to be approached. I was a bit worried going in that it would be like the car lot experience. Thankfully, it wasn't. I saw the couch I wanted, and Jackie handily provided this information (anyone considering this place will find this helpful): Since I was a first time customer, I could get fres shipping on my items. (I didn't spend this much, so shipping was $79.99). They do finance (but I paid outright). The do not deliver on Sundays or Mondays (Yes to Saturdays). Generally speaking, the furniture is not available on site, same day. You purchase your items, and schedule a pickup or delivery. The warehouse is on Beach Street in Fort Worth. If they deliver they move in the item (even if you are upstairs like me). You can also pay to have your old item moved, $20 per item (as I did with my old couch). The game killer may be for anyone considering this place that you can't do same day. Also, if you need a Saturday delivery, you may have to wait even longer. Mine was delivered 30 mins ago and I ordered it 2 weeks ago. I have never heard of a "sofa emergency," so that shouldn't be an awful thing. The prices were very reasonable. My super swell sofa was $349. They also had a "Clearance Zone" with some good stuff! Jackie was able to communicate with me via phone following the process during business hours and handled all of my questions with ease. When the item arrived, Charles and Mike delivered, moved my old one, set up the new one, did a walk by with me to ensure quality, took photos and asked me to sign. You could tell they actually enjoyed their jobs. Thanks Sam's for making the little time I have off comfortable!

This is not a difficult repair. 1 1/2 weeks later still waiting for them to schedule repair? The repair folks work off commission from what I was told and the folks that answer the phone do not have much authority as prices are set from a larger entity that none of us would be able to talk to. I was told I got 10 percent off so the real cost of repair was 516.00!!! For the water intake valve. Over priced, Not Timley, Non negotiable Thats my impression so far. I can update if things change

Mr. Appliance told me my oven wouldn't ignite because the safety valve was unsafe, which was…read moreperfectly logical since nothing about safety is ever safe. They heroically hunted for a part rarer than a straight answer, finally finding one for $420--plus labor, because labor is the price you pay for parts and parts are the price you pay for labor. I declined their $635 salvation but still paid $139 for the privilege of learning my oven was broken, which I already knew, because that's why I called them. Two months later, a handyman fixed it for $150 by replacing the ignitor, which wasn't the problem because it was the problem, and that's the beauty of this catch: the part you need is always the part they don't sell, and the part they sell is always the part you don't need.

I got so tired of buying produce at name brand grocery stores that were just tasteless garbage. I…read morehad given up on tomato's especially, since they hardly tasted like they used to. Then I started going here. The difference is unbelievable. Vegetables taste like they used to. Farm grown stuff is just so much better than that hot house, multi vine grown crap you get at the stores. Greens has such a great selection. Produce, fruit, lots of other items, like salsa's, sauces, chips, and tons of other things, and all of it has been really good stuff. Yes, prices are a little higher, but to me it's worth it. Other than the always great tomato's, they always have avocado's that are ready to go, not bright green ones you have to sit on the counter for a week waiting for them to get ripe. They also have a lot of premade stuff, like queso, chicken and potato salads, a reach in fridge full of stuff. They also have a good selection of plants for sale. Just about any produce item, and many fruits, are all here and all quality stuff. Once you start getting produce from here, you'll never buy any mass produced crap from the other stores again. Now, I still buy plenty of food from stores, but yea I guess I'm pretty rabid about crappy corporate produce, lol.
