Their customer service is trash. I purchased a 4,000.00 Samsung refrigerator in 11/23 and the compressor went out 3 months later. They've sent 5 technicians out to rectify the issue and it's still unresolved! Do not purchase appliances from them. They are a rip off!!! I would leave 0 stars if I could. Our sales associate was so nice and we were excited about the prices and everything they had. We schedule our delivery for 8 days from the date of purchase. I teach so I could not answer the phone when they called. I called back and was told I would receive an email that evening with the exact delivery time. That evening I was told that since I didn't answer when they called, they couldn't deliver it. I spoke with several people and finally received an email that they would deliver it as expected. Well, no one ever showed up. I called and said that it was an automated system that sent that out. So, I still have no furniture. I highly recommend going somewhere else. read more

I was so excited to find an oven, dishwasher and microwave. I picked out the perfect oven but it was backordered (only 2 weeks after my other appliances though!). Finally install day for the dishwasher and microwave. The installer drilled extra holes in my cupboard for microwave. Next, they were too rough with dishwasher damaging the top control panel. The oven never showed up and nobody called to say it wasn't available for install. No follow up from sales team and I took the day off work (no pay). I ended up cancelling the oven order due to no communication and disrespectful employees. One lady kept calling me sweetheart. Quite condescending and I get to pick who calls me that! Back to the damaged dishwasher though. I called and put in for service repair. They sent someone who lied about coming to our house. He then yelled at us. Quite abusive, disrespectful and lied about arriving. We tried to tell him where we were and he wasn't even in the right condo complex. Needless to say, this prompted another call to Conn's. They sent me all around and nobody wanted to address this issue or any of the other ones. Another appointment was scheduled and I said do not send same guy as last time. They sent him anyway. I had to cancel whole remedy and thought I'd be stuck with just buying a new dishwasher. I ended up going through GE appliance and they were great. Part was under warranty and replaced within 2-3 weeks! I will NEVER go back to this store again or recommend them. Just go to Best Buy or Lowe's. **In response to Conn's reading my review, I will not be contacting this company. I already tried. NOBODY helped me. Every person I spoke to transferred me elsewhere. Not a single person owned up to this companies shortcomings. Furthermore, I even met a previous repairman from this company and was told this wasn't even an abnormal experience! You would think someone from the actual store would have cared...nope. Someone from my hours of being on hold in customer service would have cared....nope! I had to fight to get them to honor the warranty I purchased from them. The warranty states if they cannot fix it they have to replace it. I went almost a month without a fridge, 2 repairmen came out. They gave me the run around daily. I literally had to clown to get a new one. Oh forgot to mention they discontinued my model, told me that if I chose one over the amount of mine, I would have to pay the difference. I've been a long time customer and I've have purchased 2 appliances from here, I was going to purchase a refrigerator for them, and have it delivered on Saturday the 3rd of February, the delivery person had found a problem with the refrigerator and to reschedule for today the 5th of February, which was fine, so I took a another day off to compensate for this. When Monday came, a pair of different delivery men came by and goes to tell me that I have to remove my from door for them to deliver my refrigerator, he was concerned that if he remove the door he would break it, and not be responsible for it, if I was informed that I needed to remove the door ahead of time, I would have hired someone to do that . So the guy refused to deliver my refrigerator and left. I have been without a proper working refrigerator for a couple of weeks, and since I couldn't get a new refrigerator today, I'll have to go without a little longer, but I won't be purchasing one from Conn's now or anything else in the future, you lost a valuable customer for life! read more

Wow...only 10 reviews? Well, here is #11. Avoid this location, particularly. This was an attempt at our 3rd purchase from Conn's. The first one was a minor disappointment as they did not follow through on a promise to repair some damage to a fridge. The second time, the transaction was seamless & they had finally done away with payment coupon books. (I mean, hey look at the pretty 21st century.) On 8/6 we went in to replace two older laptops. We found what we wanted while being stalked by Sales Person Pam. She picked up our scent at the door and refused to wander more than five feet from us the whole time we were looking at the laptops. Again, it's the 21st century...can we dial back the commission-only, salivating sales staff. Here's part one of "what's wrong with Conn's." We had one payment remaining on the last purchase, but it still took over 45 minutes to do the paperwork. At this point, Pam discovers that the McBook we are buying is not in stock. We ask when it will be in stock - the day kept changing until she finally told us it would arrive at the warehouse the following Friday & be at the store on Monday. We had a trip planned for the weekend, so we discussed with Pam that we would return on the following Tuesday. She gave us a "pick Up Ticket," and we left. If only the story ended there... We returned on Tuesday evening, after work (and the fact we work is a shock to everyone employed at Conn's) and Pam was not there. Now we were told we did not need to see her specifically, but everyone at the front counter seemed dubiously confused at the mere presence of someone picking up an order. After 30 minutes and at least six different people looking at our ticket - mind you, no one bothered to look the transaction up on the computer, we were informed that the MacBook was not in stock. They also seemed bewildered that the other computer was a floor model (last one). back-and-forth we went, and we were repeatedly told that no delivery came in Monday, that we must have misunderstood. At this point, it is nine days from the date of purchase. We were told there were 14 of the MacBooks coming in the next day. We could get it then. Wednesday (Day 10) comes, and I called before heading down there. Our laptop was not there. None came on their delivery. Dave promised me he would call me as soon as he could see their next "truck was built" to confirm our laptop would be coming. He expected this to be sometime during the day Thursday. Day 11 comes, and Pam (remember Pam?) calls to leave a garbled voicemail which said only "call me back." I call back & they won't patch me through to Pam, but Dave (again) promises to call me when he "knows it's on the truck." If only... Today, Day 12, I called at 11:16 am because I never got a call back from Dave yesterday. Someone else answers, knows immediately about our situation, and assures me three times that the laptop is in. So, after work, we drive down only to be told they got zero MacBooks on their truck today. This is clearly a lie. I expect that they are playing a first-come-first-served game there, and while they had the MacBook at 11:16 am, they do not know how to set it aside and put a "SOLD" sticker on it. Michael then proceeds to tell us that there "is nothing" he can do about it. We then get routed back to the "manager" and Pam appears. Pam tries to lie and tell us that she left two voicemails telling us the "warehouse" had five in stock. (Funny, on Tuesday they had 142 at the warehouse) Pam starts interrupting us & trying to cover one lie with another. Then we are told again, that we could drive to DeSoto to pick it up. A few moments later the manager whisper to one of the gathering crowd of employees to find out if Burleson has one so he can pick it up. After a few more excuses and lies from Pam, we tell her we will not drive to the warehouse. I explain the chain of events and that I am pissed about the lies. After one more, "I told you the warehouse had five," lies from Pam, we told them to cancel our entire ticket. Pam walks away. Clearly she was not canceling our order because after five or more minutes the manager says, "If I can get this resolved for you tomorrow, will that work?" We told him that we would NOT drive back down for another attempt. He literally said okay, clicked two buttons, and sent the nice guy over to get our receipt. Pam had simply disappeared. I told him in no uncertain terms that their entire operation was incompetent liars. I did not even get a "sorry." I plan to escalate this to the highest levels of their company. read more

Stay far away from this place. They are terrible. Sunday June 20th I purchased a apple computer laptop "Mac". This purchase came with a bundle deal which included a laptop bag, screen cleaner and the laptop computer in 3 separate boxes. I took to merchandise home that evening. After doing some research I found a newer model computer $1000 cheaper at another retailer. At this point I have decided to returned the unopen merchandise back to the same Conns store on June 23rd (three days later). Their policy in the store states 14 day 100% money back as long as the packaging of the product is unopen. All 3 products, The package with the apple laptop, laptop bag and the screen cleaner where unopened. They decided that their policy did not apply and took out a 15% repackaging few out of my back account. That amount totaling $340.18. They have violated their own written policy. I am seeking a 100% refund. I have reported this location to the FTC. read more

I purchased a Samsung Washer, Tempurpedic adjustable mattress and frame. My delivery was scheduled for 05/05/2021. The delivery continued to be cancelled and pushed back without the courtesy of notifying me of the delay or why. I called after the delivery window time frame had passed. After rescheduled delivery dates everyday from May 5 - May 13, 2021. I was promised my delivery on May 9, 2021 which was Mother's Day. Not only did I not get my delivery and cancelled my yearly trip to visit my Son's, I was informed the items I purchased were not even in stock. I finally got my delivery on the 13th. Also I was left with a very deep long scratch on my bedroom floor that happens to be laminate wood. Needless to say I missed 2 1/2 days from work before I realized I could not rely on the delivery promises that were made. They did give a discount for the inconvenience. However, noticed an extended warranty price had been included as well as Personal Property Insurance which was not discussed at all. I've also ask that the mattress be replaced it's to firm. I was informed I have to keep it 30 days before an exchange can be made. At this point I'm livid. I'm going to see if they'd take the entire bed back and I'll keep the washer. However, never again will I refer or do business with Conn's again. read more

NEVER GO HERE. Bought almost 10,000 worth of appliances and my dishwasher has been broken since the day I got it and was told to just see what a technician could do. Took off work, conns come and told me to call Samsung, called Samsung they said sorry this is physical damage and we won't cover anything. So I paid 1,000 for a leaking broken dishwasher that they left in a box but I was somehow supposed to know how the dishwasher looked even though the damage was in the back corner under the rack where you cannot see unless you get in the dishwasher with a flashlight. They do not stand by their customer's or their products they sell. Sad thing is I was a repeat customer and now I will make sure to tell all my friends about my experience. read more

After seeing the other reviews I wanted to put some thought into this one. The cons of Conns: Cons is pricey. Their rates are a bit high too. This isn't the place you go when you want something inexpensive. Commission based employees. Pros: The cons being stated, cons has a purpose. They give credit where others would not. If you need furniture, tvs, electronics, or household equipment and have had a credit issue in the past, conns can help you out. They make you pay for it but it is a great way to help out your credit score. Yes, the staff is all commission based so you may get pounced on but it's the price you pay when you can't shop anywhere else. read more

Our furniture is junk. Customer service is horrible. Our furniture has been repaired and replaced, but the quality is so poor that within 2 weeks the mechanisms start breaking down and twist. The cushion support falls to one side so the seat feels like you are leaning about 3" lower on one side. We are not big people and there is just 2 of us and im gone on business at most times. They wont allow us to pick a different set of furniture, they just want to extend out repair attempts until warranty runs out. Buyer beware. read more

5 Star sales person and 1 star service... We have had the worse possible repair service experience that any one person should have. The dryer we purchased on Sept 22 was delivered without a problem, because of schedules we did not wash/dry clothes until that follow Friday evening. The dryer ran for 10 minutes before blowing a fuse, service came out on quickly to fix the problem and that's where everything went wrong. The guy who came out did not say what the problem was or give any estimated date that the repair would be done. I have had to call 5-6 times for updates, AT NO TIME HAS ANYONE BOTHERED TO CALL ME, although they always say they will call back. Wife and I went to the store and found the perfect sofa, love seat and recliner. $2300 later and we were set for delivery. They delivered it and I checked it out. Very close in looks but it all seemed harder than it should be. I asked and they said they would soften to the correct amount in a few weeks. They never have softened. I called Conn's and requested the correct units. They said, as I had signed for them, they would not replace them. The manufacturer had changed and this was the model we ordered. I told them that I would take the show room furniture but they refused. I opened a service ticket for the recliner as it squeaked terribly. A service guy came out and said they would replace it. They brought another unit. It makes worse noise that the first one. I opened another ticket and they won't even call me back. Black hole on the service department. Horrible. NEVER again. This is the worst service I have ever received from a company. After the warehouse 'forgetting' us last weekend, we were on the schedule for today. Due to the weather, I proactively made calls to the warehouse and was in contact with my salesperson. After being stuck in my house all day (again!) due to waiting on a delivery that never came, I find out that my driver didn't show today and no one bothered to tell me. Had a horrible experience. Was only there to check out some stereo systems and maybe look at a couple flat screens for the heck of it. I was greeted upon entering but I told the employee that I wanted to just look around. I went to the stereo section, with him following every footstep I made. He kept pushing me to try stuff out and talk about payment plans. I ignored it and went over to a nice TV. He constantly barraged me on setting up payments plans and trying to make me buy a TV. I told him I was just looking and that I would look for him if I needed him. I literally walked around the entire electronics department, being followed and constantly asked questions about the same thing. I finally told him that I was here looking and that he needed to leave me alone. He came closely to me then told me to get out of the store if I wasn't going to buy anything. As I walked out the other employees laughed at me and were waving me off. No wonder these locations are starting to close down. The name says it all. Went in to this location to look at mattresses...and the salesman, Rodney was great...he is very knowledgeable in all of the products, we went from mattresses to tv's, to stoves to fridges....he was great. If you buy here, tell them over and over and over you DO NOT WANT THEIR INSURANCE. They offer product defect insurance, damage insurance, credit life insurance and one more type I can't even remember what it was. They will roll this in with your charges and not let you know. I caught it during the process and demanded it be removed several times. Finally, the salesman said it would take up to two hours (while I wait) for them to verify I had my own renters insurance, or he could submit it with those charges added in and then immediately fax over a cancellation for it and I could go. It took 3 months to get the company to remove it, after I had to pay for it for those months. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEAE SHADY PEOPLE. I am shocked their isn't 500 bad reviews on here. If I could give this store a negative rating I would. Their former employee posted on Facebook marketplace of a tv and game system bundle around Christmas time it which if you purchased a tv they would throw in a free game system. Upon reaching the store I asked again about the bundle and was shown the tv options. Once I picked out the 65" the employee asked me to sign a form to see how much I would be approved for. I asked would it be a credit account that would do a hard pull and was informed that it wasn't. Upon finishing the application I was told that I was approved for a set amount and continued on with my purchase. After bringing the merchandise home, about a month later the charge showed up on my credit report reflecting over $3200 for a tv that costed only $899. Upon trying to figure out how the cost had jumped so high I contacted Conn's only to get a run around about the entire account followed by their manager basically saying "oh well you got screwed by our former employee shouldn't have signed the contract" even though when I asked questions when I was actually up there everyone turned a deaf ear. Now they've fired that employee(I'm sure for similar reasons because I wasn't the only one). DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!! read more

Pam helped us and if you like snake types then shop here. The prices are high and they do not honor anything they sell. I missed one payment with Conns because of medical expenses. After 3 days I started receiving calls from them for payment. I took the calls, explained the situation and told them I needed to set up a post dated payment on the date I was to be paid. I was told it had to be set up 14 days prior to the requested date and I would have to call back then. I still kept receiving calls and had to explain over and over. The last call I received I asked for a manger who told me the same BUT I qualified for a refinancing but still needed to call back at the same date and they would set it up. I called back on the specific day and was told that ,NO,I did not qualify for the refinancing. After speaking to 2 different managers I finally had to set up my regular payment to catch up on the one I missed with no resolution. Last time I do business with them. By the way I bought a TV before and paid it off ahead of time but didn't seem to matter. read more

I bought my bed and TV from Conn's back in May, I have never experienced such a false advertising. I asked to get a iComfort series and instead, I was given a Hybrid, it lacked actual comfort. When I brought it up, they told me that it was not their responsibility, eventhough I had asked for a specific bed. I think the part the really annoyed me was that they told me I was going to have to run my credit again and pay another down payment in order to get the bed I had originally ordered. Additionlly, they told me that I was not going to be able to return it since it had not qualified for the 90 day return, though I paid for the warranty.
