She simply said "welcome," and waited to approach until it was apparent I was ready to be approached. I was a bit worried going in that it would be like the car lot experience. Thankfully, it wasn't. I saw the couch I wanted, and Jackie handily provided this information (anyone considering this place will find this helpful): Since I was a first time customer, I could get fres shipping on my items. (I didn't spend this much, so shipping was $79.99). They do finance (but I paid outright). The do not deliver on Sundays or Mondays (Yes to Saturdays). Generally speaking, the furniture is not available on site, same day. You purchase your items, and schedule a pickup or delivery. The warehouse is on Beach Street in Fort Worth. If they deliver they move in the item (even if you are upstairs like me). You can also pay to have your old item moved, $20 per item (as I did with my old couch). The game killer may be for anyone considering this place that you can't do same day. Also, if you need a Saturday delivery, you may have to wait even longer. Mine was delivered 30 mins ago and I ordered it 2 weeks ago. I have never heard of a "sofa emergency," so that shouldn't be an awful thing. The prices were very reasonable. My super swell sofa was $349. They also had a "Clearance Zone" with some good stuff! Jackie was able to communicate with me via phone following the process during business hours and handled all of my questions with ease. When the item arrived, Charles and Mike delivered, moved my old one, set up the new one, did a walk by with me to ensure quality, took photos and asked me to sign. You could tell they actually enjoyed their jobs. Thanks Sam's for making the little time I have off comfortable!

I hope to prevent others from a pain or hassle while handing over their money and expecting to receive what has been paid for Yesterday the washer was delivered with NO dryer! I was not provided any kind of update from Best Buy , but was informed by the 3rd party delivery guy that the dryer was not in stock and was scheduled for a later delivery day. As the dryer was physically purchased in store.... this makes no at sense! it's been over a week and then we find out there's more delay!!! The worst part is that when we finally got them on the phone, a man who barely spoke English and obviously, he either, did not understand it either, or pretended to and only tried to get the phone call off the line and out of the queue. When he repeatey failed to acknowledge or provide proper assistance or answer any questions or do ANYTHING but seem incompetent and lacked accountability, concern, or active listening skills, absolutely ZERO desire to resolve or assist! he could not even identify what he was much less how to do it he wanted to give a generic answer with no relevance and rush off the call. Where I lost my a supervisor was requested (at least 3-5 times) and the rep put the call on hold and said things that were not applicable or helpful. I was refused an escalation! I don't have my dryer or any updates as to why I don't! I was denied an escalation and transferred to a different dept and rep instead! He said he was getting a supervisor and when he finally implied he was going to... He said he was transferring I said where he did not answer and just transferred anyway knowing it was not a supervisor or manager... just a different department. This is unacceptable and this rep should not be working with customers anywhere! i went to Best Buy instead of a no name company to avoid this sort of thing! Best Buy.... this guy makes it more of a Best Lie. Go to alternative retailers for your appliance purchases if you need them sooner than later

    I went to Texas Appliance to looking for a selection of appliances. I was greeted by a helpful…read moresales associate who showed me around and answered all my questions. The next day, I followed up about an oven and was assured it was in stock. After a few emails, we finalized the details, and I waited for an updated invoice by email. Then, communication completely stalled. After a couple of days without a response, I reached out to the store and discovered that my sales agent was no longer with the company. To make matters worse, I learned several crucial details had been overlooked, including the need for an in-home measurement and additional installation fees. On April 25th, I paid for both the oven and the measurement fee. After the measurements were completed, I contacted the store again, only to find out that my new sales agent was on leave. The store manager stepped in, and I had to bring him up to speed on my order. He then informed me there were issues with LG warehouse, and that everything had to come from California--meaning there was no definite timeline for when my oven would arrive. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since my original salesperson had assured me that I would have it within 10-15 days. Over the next several weeks I heard nothing from the store. I called asking for updates and continue to get the same message, we do not know when it will be in. Fast-forward 30 days from my first visit--I finally received a call letting me know the oven had arrived. However, before installation could proceed, I was informed that I had to pay the $540 installation fee upfront. I asked if I could pay on the day of installation. I had already paid $3000 for the oven and I would really like to wait and see it before I paid any more money. They refused, citing store policy. The store manager even called me saying there was no way they could do it to where I paid for the installation on the same day. At that point, I had lost all confidence in the process and requested a refund. If they are willing to loose my business over a "store policy" and $540, then I will go some where else. I initially chose Texas Appliance expecting a higher level of customer service, but my experience was nothing short of disappointing. I realize they cannot control the shipping delays with LG. However, with all the issues with my order, when it came down to a simple store policy, they were unwilling to budge. I was not asking for a discount. I just simply asked to wait and pay the installation when I actually saw the work bring doing.

    What an odd place, I say…read more My fiancé found this on Facebook Marketplace. We were moving from a 500 sp. ft. apt to a home, and needed the basics. Cysco's boasted cut rate prices, and in my favorite city, so we decided to check it out! Let me say this first - on Google this joker has like 1.5 stars. The secret - you MUST call before arriving. They aren't always there. It's in a big warehouse district. More mechanics than retail shops. Be prepared for that, and to turn quick off Cooper. When we arrived unannounced there was a kind young gentleman that could only speak Spanish. He immediately called Francisco and we Facetimed. He was very nice, and I was taken aback at how well he knew his inventory by memory. He said, "Delivery is $100 more, and we install." Ultimately, we ended up waiting a couple of weeks before we connected again due to the storm. Immediately following the storm, my fiancé and her father went over and picked a very nice Whirlpool Fridge that clocked in at about half price. Great deal! When she tried to purchase he said "Delivery only!" and "That's $100 but I can do $50." She tried to object but he was insistent. He also informed her that it would be 2 days before delivery. Once he arrived he was a bit brash, and removed the kitchen door in order to enter without asking. She was alarmed but he wasn't communicating. He got it installed, though. My fiancé and her family did describe his throughout the process of install as "rude," however. I was absent much of the time, but when I did return he was beginning to leave. As I pulled up he was departing, and he peeled out on my brand new driveway - spinning tires and all with tie down straps hanging out. However, it was indeed a great deal. Truthfully, it's a bit of a Frankenstein. The shelves indicate that some are from a Maytag and some are from Whirlpool, but either way, it's a solid and beautiful machine. All purchases come with a 90 day warranty, so that is a plus! Let me say this: It IS INDEED a Scratch and Dent shop! I will say, I would likely visit Cysco's again if needed, but with a little less optimism and a little more gumption to negotiate. The product is solid, but with so many fish in the sea I don't think I want to fool with said foolishness going forward.

It cools now just as good or better than it did when I purchased it 4 years ago. He actually made two trips to my home because he had to order the parts for the repair. After he was done, he kindly offered to help me return the food to the unit and he tidied up the area he was working in. He was very respectful of my home, and showed genuine care and thoughtfulness. Before leaving, he explained his warranty on the repair and provided me with a written receipt. I'm not easily impressed, but I can wholeheartedly say this was the most pleasant experience I have had with a repair person in a very, very long time. I am positive you will be pleased as well.
