I then flipped the door myself and found coins, a bunch of dog hair, and random trash in the machine crevices. The lint filter was not even cleaned. I dried one load of clothes and there were random orange stains that were not present when I washed the clothes. I looked inside the dryer with a flashlight and there was what looked like orange crayon all on the inside of the drum, which I then had to clean. Getting used appliances means there will be some amount of extra work, but this was just lazy for the company not even to clean and vaccuum the unit first. Fast forward to October, and the dryer does not work - I had my clothes in 7 times and they are still cold and wet. I reached out to them and they said it would be $129 for a service call and more money for the missing parts. The warranty must've been about 6 months, and it has been 9. I bought from here to support a small business, but this was a terrible experience and a waste of nearly $1000.

What makes it even worse is that if I had purchased this item from Amazon, I would've been well within their return policy. I specifically chose to shop at Best Buy instead of Amazon (even though the price was the same) because I wanted to support a brick-and-mortar business. Clearly, that loyalty was a mistake. Moving forward, I'll be doing all my shopping with Amazon, where customer service is consistent, and policies are more customer-friendly.
