We went in for a late lunch and had reservations for dinner as well so we ordered light. We shared the Noodle bowl and oh boy it was so healthy and yum! I had eaten flavors like this in Asia and this was the first time I felt like a dish tasted so true to its origins. Its tucked in the cute Gas town and it's a little food heaven for vegetarians! read more

I come here all the time and the service is always great here. The food is really good too, but on the downside all the burgers are kinda the same. A lot of the menu items are kind of the same thing presented differently. They often take a long time to make the food. I was there with two friends who both order the Mac and cheese and I had a burger. We waited about half an hour and the Mac meals came out undercooked. We didn't have time to wait for them to remake it, so we said we'd just eat it. They were still nice enough to take both Macs off our bill! Great service, and my burger was good too. read more

I was pleasantly surprised on how delicious the vegan food was at Meet. It was even a hit with my non vegan family members and picky eater aka 15 year old son. The staff was very friendly and informative. read more

Finally, a great option close to downtown! I have hardcore loved Meet on Main since it opened, but it was always a special occasion trek from our West End orbit. Now, I can get deliciousness on a whim, which is great for Meet and bad for my wallet. Not that it's expensive, but when you find yourself there multiple times per week some weeks, well. Anyway, this is the place I go with friends, family in town, date night, or by myself with a book. The satisfying comfort food never disappoints - my definitely omnivore father went from cautious skepticism to asking to eat there again the next time he was in town. Ambiance is clattery and loud, service is casual. It doesn't pretend to be anything else, and that is fantastic. The staff are also super lovely. We have always been treated so well. Smiles are genuine. Just go. Have fun. read more

I'm thrilled everything is vegan! the food is excellent, I've tried several items from all sections of the menu and loveeeed every bite. sevice is average or below, but it doesn't stop me from coming back often. read more

Down in a small alley we found that place in Gastown when visiting Vancouver, it was a very good experience. The place is cozy and the atmosphere has that very positive little something. The waiters took care of us really quickly, the food was really good and homemade. The only downside would be the waiting time, but on a peak time on a Sunday lunch and for the quality of the food we forgive you ;-) read more

Great vegan food! Great service, consistent food quality. ( the poutine is a little on the salty side) but otherwise great, we always bring friends and clients from out of town and we all leave happy! read more

As a carnivore eater, i found the food here to be very salty. A bit overpriced but it is in a tourist area. My vegan friend seemed to like this place so maybe it's my taste buds. I wish i had a better vegan restaurant experience. read more

Best of their locations for sure. Great service and comfortable seating. Oh, and good food. Music is a bit loud but I keep going back even at that. read more

Yes! Comfort food! My fiancé and I both tried different burgers, which came with salad with a delicious vinaigrette and fries. Really enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was friendly. I love the Edison bulb look. In a fun area with a cute plant store nearby. Would be back. Come hungry! It will definitely fill you up! read more

MeeT - I got the meet burger, babe got the double double! Absolutely amazing!!! - Burgers Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

Always willing to try out vegan restaurants... and man this was a massive disappointment. Started with cauli wings and found the flavour to be okay but kinda sickly after more than 1. My boyfriend got a burger and after the first bite it just dribbled, dripped, and oozed all over the plate in a soppy, over-sauced mess. I got the Seoul bowl and was thoroughly unimpressed. I don't have one good thing to say about our meal here. Left hungry ! read more

I feel like three stars is a little low because I honestly liked this place, I just don't think it was exactly what I want in an all-vegan restaurant. The location and interior are great - right in the middle of Gas Town and there was no wait when we showed up around 5:15pm. My partner and I were really excited to try the vegan poutine, but were disappointed to see that the menu was so overall heavy on fried foods and burgers. Like you really couldn't get anything without fries. My partner ordered the TeeM Poutine (said he couldn't even tell it was vegan!) and I got the Mac and Cheez burger. Both were really good, and with 20% tip, only $26(USD), so very cheap! This is definitely a great place if you're looking for plant-based fast-food type fare, just don't come here looking to be healthy. read more

One of the very good fusion vegan restaurant. Tried Butter Chikkin and Noodle e Thay both were amazing.

Today, I was introduced to "Meet", just to give you a heads up, I will be back for more. I was skeptical at first since I'm a huge meat eater but if this is what the vegetable loving community eat, then this restaurant may have just converted me. The sweet chili cauliflower was definitely addictive I had to deny oneself from ordering more. I also ordered the Butter Chikkin which was authentic to taste being a big fan of Butter Chicken myself. I've already browsed the menu for my next visit, and I am looking forward to trying the "groovy gravy fries". read more

MeeT - Sweet Chili Cauliflower - Burgers Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

MeeT is a popular vegan restaurant that has no reservations, be prepared to wait outside whatever the weather. There is no room to wait inside and they will ask you to stand outside. I've eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed my food. Everything has a unique twist, Be prepared to be impressed read more

A luxurious treat when I visit Van, I had the Seoul Bowl there and it was mouth-watering delectable, I dont know what they use for the imitation chicken but it was juicy and tender, and the whole balance of flavors was exquisite. Good atmosphere with ambient lighting, I look forward to coming again read more

The food here falls flat- sometimes too sweet, sometimes the texture is off, and mostly it's just plain bland. I've tried around 8 items on the menu because I've come here twice in groups and we all tried out each other's dishes. The only thing most of us agreed we liked was the Big Yum bowl, everything else was 'meh' or 'I don't like it but I ordered it and I'm hungry so I'll finish it'. I do like the vibrant atmosphere and natural lighting so I will give them 2 stars. If you are looking for good vegetarian food I would recommend looking for places like Acorn or Fable that showcase the qualities of vegetable ingredients instead of trying to disguise them as 'meet'. If you just want to chow down on a good veggie burger, there's plenty to be found in the omnivorous restaurants of Vancouver, even Rogue Wetbar's veggie burger is better than the one here. read more

We were at the Gastown location, we assume it must be good because we always see a line up at their Yaletown location. So we decided to try it out, we did not know it was vegan restaurant. We ordered the double patty burger, my spouse asked how it was. ( Still not knowing that it was a vegan restaurant ). The server started to say that it was made with lentils, and it was very good. I stopped her and told her we are meat eaters, she said we should try the beyond meat burger, it was $3.00 more then the double patty burger, so we said okay, we'll try it. We also ordered coffee, when it was served, the spoon she gave me was dirty, it had someones food still on it. I flagged her down to let her know, well another server came back with a soup spoon and said it was the only spoon that she found was clean. Okay, it's not going good, are we going to regret this. We waited over 45 min. for our order, I've tried to flag our server, but she kept ignoring me. It does not take that long to make a beyond beef burger. I knew it was going to be bad, I said to my spouse that this is b.s. "Lets leave" !!! So, we left. No where on their menu was any sign that MeeT was a vegan restaurant. We were willing to try it out, but the dirty spoon, poor service, and druggies digging in the potted plants just grossed me out. I could only imagine how dirty the kitchen is. read more

This place is warm, friendly, and tasty. Came here after a day of no great vegan options during a business trip. And the hamburger helper totally hit all the spots and filled my sad belly. The server was helpful; the food came out quickly at lunchtime (I dined on the early side, around 11:30). Sometimes I find vegan restaurants outside of LA to be a tiny bit disappointing (Angeleno vegans are spoiled for choice and variety), and this experience was the opposite of a disappointment. I'll seriously be craving that hamburger helper until I can make it back! read more

This is such a rad place, and the food is great. The food reminds me of Doomies in Los Angeles. If you plan on just having drinks, this is also a cool place to chill and enjoy beer on tap. The people who work here are super chill as well. It is a distance from where I live, but I plan on visiting again. I forgot the employee's name who is from Australia, but thanks for being awesome and welcoming even though I arrived half-an-hour before closing. read more

This place is way too overrated! I got the Mac and cheese burger and my friend the Mac and cheese bowl and it was so bland and boring. Nice vibe but average food. read more

Went back to MeeT tonight to have some great eats with my close friends. It makes me sad to update this review, but MeeT lost a few stars on its service this evening. By far the worst I've had in awhile, although the server was friendly, she refused eye contact and nearly never stopped by. I felt rude asking her for another refill on my water as I didn't want to bother her, but by the time she showed again I had a lot to ask her for. Not offered a refill on my coffee, plates left for awhile, and we waited over five minutes for her to even stop by our table upon sitting down. The table next to me also was raising complaints about being unable to locate their server after certain requests were failed to be met. I think my relationship with this location is over. I'll go back to Main instead. read more

And when the waiter brought us another round of utensils she did it in the most unprofessional way with a disgusting face.. definitely going to choose Tacofino just down the block behind the store .. wow just wow... also I want to add the third pair of utensils were still dirty !! So we chose only to use one for my gf and I used my hands ... lol what an experience tho ! read more

MeeT - Found this after eating my food ... wow . - Burgers Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

We were visiting Vancouver over the long weekend and decided to go check out Gastown. We happened upon MeeT and were delighted to find out that as vegetarians we could eat anything on the menu. We parked at a meter and put enough in for 2 hours. We were asked to wait outside for our table and did so for about 30 minutes. We could see empty tables for a while, but I guess the wait staff was rushed off their feet and did not have time to clean and seat people right away. When we were finally seated, it took a while to order our burgers. We finally did and were excited about what was to come. Time passed, and time passed, and time passed. We were starting to get anxious, because our car not close enough that we could go feed the meter. We asked how long the food would be and the wait staff said another few minutes. When we reached the point where there was only ten minutes left on our meter, we asked to pay the bill and for them to put the food in a to go box (which we still had not received yet). The single woman sitting next to us, who had arrived before us, also had not received her food yet either. So we finally got our food to go. The staff offered us two free root beers as a consolation for the wait and were very apologetic. I have to say that when we did taste the food, it was wonderful. I think this restaurant is a must for any vegetarian or vegan visiting Vancouver. I just hope that they work a little more with their kitchen staff to crank out the food in a more timely manner. Until then, I would recommend parking in the lot. read more

Really amazing vegan food. None of the 4 of us are vegans but we all enjoyed our food. I got the butter chicken poutine and it was so tasty!! Everyone else got burgers that came with fries and salad. The portions were great, we were all super full. read more

Probably one of my favourite (if not my favourite) vegetarian comfort restaurants out there! I've been to the Main Street location as well as the Gastown location and they are both fantastic. The burger menus are my favourite - this time we got the Mighty Mac burger and the BBQ burger with nacho fries (you can upgrade your fries or salad for $4 extra) and both menus were delicious. The portions are generous - you'll fill full after and the price is reasonable (burger + salad + fries come in total of around $13-17 depending on which set you choose). The taste was great - the Mac and cheese combo with the patty was interesting and so was the bbq sauce with daiya cheese and crunchy onion rings for the bbq burger. The ambience of the location is great, located at the heart of Gastown. With pretty lights and cozy deco, it's a perfect place to go to for a date night out or a Friday gathering with friends. Normally during dinner time though, there is a line (we went around 7pm on a Friday night and had to wait for approximately 40 minutes) but it's worth it! I will be back again! read more

Can't recommend them enough. Always the first spot I bring friends when they want me to bring them to one of my favourite vegan spots and they also fall in love with MeeT too. Probably the best vegan burgers I've ever had. read more

One of the best veggie burger I had. Also it came with salad and fries and the server was really nice with us

Absolutely love the food! Have been here in the past, the food and the ambience is why it's getting 2 stars. Our server, this time, was unfortunately horrible. She barely checked on us and we were left to our own devices most of the time, we had to get up multiple times for basic things such as water, ketchup along with the bill and to go containers. Additionally we weren't greeted for over 5 minutes after first sitting down, and because of the slow service we did not have time to get a second round of drinks. We were having a celebration that night and it put a damper on the evening. Not sure of her name but she has short red hair, we additionally felt as though she was quite condescending but I do hope next time we have better service :) read more

The service was really good but the food and drinks a big no! I ordered a burger and my bun was soggy, and everything just ripped apart once I picked it up. I ordered a lemonade and it was VERY bitter. The amount of money the food is worth just does not live up to expectations. read more
