I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Really enjoyed having breakfast here every morning! Very relaxed and classy atmosphere. Well made food w/ high quality ingredients used. My favorite would have to be the avocado toast. Soft, a little bit of saltiness w/ furikake and warm bread. This is my the 3rd Rosewood Hotel I've stayed at, the other 2 being Rosewood Phnom Penh and Rosewood Kona Village. The service at this restaurant exemplifies and demonstrated the Rosewood brand. From Michelle bringing me to my table every morning and greeting me to the warm smile and excellent service from Leanne. Leanne would bring me some elixir shots before the start of my breakfast, very nice touch!Leanne also made sure my breakfast was prompt and would check on and see if everything was OK and if anything else was needed. People may say the price may be higher side but it's well worth it!

Very classy, elegant area. Has a lot of historical references in their drink menu and ambience screams historical, but has some modern accents for a beautiful mix. Service was impeccable. Allowed for a very casual and inviting cocktail at the bar.

Loved the atmosphere, and service, Cocktails, and Oysters were amazing. We had their famous Hotel Georgia cocktail which was amazing

We walked in on Valentine's Day on Friday night and the place was packed. We got lucky as seats opened up at the corner of the bar and we were seated there. A live singer and accompanying pianist were playing beautiful ballads all night. Best of all, however, was the superb customer service provided by Joe, as well as Lou, behind the bar. They were both so kind and Joe was super friendly. They made our night! Though the cocktails are a bit pricey, the ambiance, vibe and great service are worth it.

Is your favorite kinda' hotel lobby bar one where you might have rubbed elbow with Hemingway or, say, an English king?Do you like dark paneling, velvet chairs and marble tables? If the roaring 20's (the 1900 kind) is your vibe, this is your pace to chill. I've loved this place for more than a decade but my last visit was pre-pandemic. Apparently there's a new chef who has never heard the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" because he broke a beautiful signature dish. Can you imagine adding sweet pickle relish to AAA quality beef tartare? Me, neither. Apparently, however, he can. The oysters weren't shucked properly but the bi-valves, themselves, were super fresh and mineral'ly. The burger was exactly as delicious as I remembered. That one? No sweet pickle relish. The drinks are amazing. Their signature cocktail has won all kinds of worldwide recognition and the service is immaculate. This is also a perfect place to curl up with a good book, a snack and a glass of wine or cup of tea, mid-afternoon when the hotel is pretty quiet. Despite the tartare & oysters and the $225 CAD tab, I'm so glad to be back here!

Fancy shmancy. (That would've been the end of my review if Yelp didn't have a character minimum) We ordered a glass of sparkling wine.... $45 CAN each. Oops. We made a mistake but it was honestly quite good. I wouldn't order it again but it was fancy experience. The waiter will add some Smokey popcorn and trail mix? To the table as you wait. The oysters came with a Serrano and lime drizzle on top. They're also baby oysters as the waitress pointed out. It's a super nice experience, it's inside the rosewood hotel.

Can't give this hotel bar enough stars. Was lucky enough to hit this place up a few times on my trip. The drinks here are phenomenally and consistently crafted. The Signature Georgia Hotel drink is a must try as is the Charlie Chaplin. The Spanish G&T with the local indigo gin is also a sight to behold. And did I mention they have food? Really good food. The beef tartare really hit the spot. Joe the bartender gets a special shout out for his amazing bartending skills as well as being a great host.

The food options are always creative and delicious. Very shareable. Lovely historic building with great ambience. Our fav waiter is amazing. My only complaint would be that the live music is WAY too loud. It's not background music. It's a whole concert of weepy songs that I'd never listen to. It's hard to hear people at your table, and it brings the mood down.

We loved our stay at the hotel itself. The 1927 Lobby Lounge was just okay. It was an okay food experience. The vibe was nice and it really feels like a 20s experience in terms of the lighting, ambiance, decor. There was a wait so we had bar seating first, then moved to a seat. I wouldn't seek this spot out again but enjoyed experiencing it for the time being.

A very nice place to come to relax with a fine selection of spirits and cocktails. A very attentive and courteous staff to tend to your every needs. Had the the pleasure of enjoying the signature drink Hotel Georgia and a very satisfying Macallan 21. When in Vancouver, I recommend this experiment to all.

Their food was really good, truffle fries are quite rich and flavourful, same with the beef carpaccio. I don't think the menu mentions it comes with these sliced toasted baguettes which were topped with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Service was slightly disappointing as our service was quite flat. Two instances, both not the fault of our server, but the bar had a friend a drink in a dirty glass, she ordered a clear drink but it was brown tinged, and had a weird flavour. Multiple people at the table tried it before we told the server that it seemed off. It was slightly off putting, but our server went back and got a new one for my friend. Second thing, they said they updated their POS so for some reason the person who had the most alcoholic drinks had been put in with a really high autogratuity, but it was strange because everyone else at the party had the regular autograt of 20% I believe and the only person who was drunk ended up getting 30% or something of the sort. Our server again, amazing and took care of it working with the manager who fixed it and came to apologize but the optics of that only happening to the one drunk person if the party, well you know. Kinda left an unsatisfactory taste in everyone's mouths regarding the service. Food was still great and so was our server, and the manager who came to personally apologize about the issue.

Everything on the HH menu is $5 3-6pm and all day Wednesday. We also got the meatball appetizer and the Baccala on toast. Bartender was friendly enough, gave some recommendations where to go for dinner. But then a very large party was being seated at the adjacent restaurant that the bar seems to also serve, and she got tied up pretty bad. We did see a couple come in and wait for a pretty long time and then just take off. And then the bar was closed for this private party at 7pm, and we had sort of planned on a nightcap after dinner in there. Fortunately we found PLENTY of awesome places to go after dinner so it was not an issue. While there during Happy Hour, the crowd was empty at first and the place filled up completely by the time we left. 30's and 40's crowd.

If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet, and cosy bar this is not the place for you. This is a place where Vancouverites get dressed up in their finest dark washed jeans. Am I being facetious - yes I am...but lets face it that's what passes for high fashion in this city. Celebrity sightings are not totally uncommon here, the servers are all friendly and quick to bring your drinks, and you're guaranteed plenty of beautiful people eye-candy. It's also a bar targeting a slightly more mature age group with their larger disposable income - so no annoying teeny boppers knocking back B-52's here and whoohooing it up. One shocking thing I discovered on my last visit to OPUS Bar, was that they aren't allowed to do "real" bottle service there. So if you order a bottle of Goose for the table, be prepared to have your server take it away and bring it back out only when requested or when glasses start to go empty - thankfully Champagne & Wine are exempt from this strange rule.

We came here for a Winnie the Pooh Afternoon Tea. Oh my goodness...it far exceeded my expectations!…read moreHats off to the kitchen staff for coming up with such a creative and whimsical afternoon tea. First thing that caught my eye was the cover of the afternoon tea menu. It was red with a picture of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin printed upon it in a shiny gold colour. When flipped over, it had the menu for the afternoon tea printed upon it. I was super impressed that they even had a separate menu printed for Vegetarians. (I opted for a Vegetarian menu). There was a cute little ceramic jar that was shaped like a Honey pot, and it had sugar cubes in it! Then there was this booklet that was pages long, and divided into Chapters. It was basically the menu again, but in the form of a small book. Each Chapter of the book described different foods from the afternoon tea. The last chapter listed all the different tea flavors one could choose. When we sat down and read this menu, I heard more than one person at the table say that they wanted to take this menu home. Guess what? For the price of $25, one could take this menu home as a memento of this extraordinary afternoon tea? Maybe I'm a bit of a sucker, but how often does one get to go to an afternoon tea as special as this? And I've always been a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh. So I coughed up the $25 and brought one of these menus home with us! Food was sooo good. I loved how warm the scone was when I cut it open. This was one of my favourite items. The sandwiches were amongst my favourites as well. As phenomenal as the experience was, I do think there are a few things which could have improved the experience. For one, a bit more service would have been appreciated. I had to wave my hand in the air to get our server's attention so that I could ask her to refill our tea pots with more hot water. Would have been nice if she'd just come around a bit more often and offered to top it up for us. Tea cozies on our tea pots might have been another improvement. A lot of my tea cooled down by the time I got to it. I like my tea hot but I didn't get in very many cups of hot tea as there was a lot of food to eat and by the time I was ready to pour myself some tea to wash down my food, the tea was...not so hot anymore. Oh, and while most of the food was appropriately sized, there was this one chocolate cookie sandwich that was really gigantic and suggested to be eaten last. We were so full already from all the other foods in the afternoon tea, and then to squeeze that giant cookie sandwich in...right at the end? A smaller and daintier cookie sandwich would have been preferred. It was overall a truly phenomenal experience. Yes, I do think it could have been slightly better, but I do emphasize the word "slightly". The points lost were so minor...I would still highly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone. It was well worth the money. It's offered every weekend for now but not sure how long they'll keep this around so if you're interested in a Winnie the Pooh themed afternoon tea, I'd make a reservation for it ASAP!
