I'm usually sceptical about Vegan restaurants, because of the lack of flavour (and overall satisfaction) I've experienced in the past. But man oh man, Meet's Mac n' Cheese Burger is good, has the needed jalapeño spice (I add hot sauce too), and leaves my stomach happy. Service is alright. GO for the Burgers. read more

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Vancouver. Excellent menu with lots of options, great cocktails and the desserts are heavenly. The butter chicken is fantastic, a great portion size and very rich sauce. read more

This place is buzzing and full of interesting faces. The atmosphere was great & I appreciated BTVS running on a screen in the back everything on the menu is vegan & it's freakin delish. My paleo meateater husband was also very verrrry pleased with his dishes. We had the mac & cheese with Italian sausage (heavenly, salty, yum, heavy), sweet & sour cauliflower (YUM!), and the ginger beefless beef bowl, which was everything I hoped it would be. OH and the bavarian cronut was surprising. I should come back just for that. Very enjoyable experience, highly recommend it! read more

Came here on a Tuesday night for some good food with my friends~ It was basically packed but luckily we got seated without waiting around 7:30pm. The menu is pretty extensive, so much to choose from. We settled on the mac n cheese, the zesty hummus, and the fries bowl that comes with onion rings. The mac n cheese was do cheesy and I loved it~ the hummus was really good as well, they do put in chopped cucumber so keep that in mind if you are not a cucumber person. The bowl of fries was HUGE. The three of us did not even finish half of it. The food was yummy, and the vibe is really nice. Super open and comfy and relaxed. The prices were really good as well. Paid $11 including tip. I think their name is so fitting because this is literally such a good meet up place in Gastown. Will be back again to try more food and dessert~ read more

Loved our visit here. The atmosphere was warm and inviting but still funky. My mom and I are meat eaters usually but we loved our completely vegan meal. It didn't taste any different than a non vegan meal. I ordered the crispy BBQ burger with the beyond meat Patty with their TeeM poutine and it was amazing. Great flavors and texture and their poutine was classic. My mom got their butter chikkin and on the recommendation from Andrea(our amazing server) we split the coconut cream cronut. Best choice ever. That cronut will visit me in dreams to come. Service was great and I will absolutely be coming back! read more

Surprisingly a great place! I was a little skeptical at first because vegan usually means bland or tastes bad, but everything we ordered was delicious and the service was good even if the restaurant was a full house. After lunch, I felt healthier but also very full without having to over order. Five out of five! read more

Loved the approach for their interior recycling (values and beliefs) the wait staff very friendly. I throughly enjoyed the food (The MAC and Cheese Burger) whereas my wife had the Macro. However, for the 40-50 minute wait in the rain, and very crowded space for the quality food -- quite disappointed. The Cauliflower (bites) were okay but you can get them vegan and better at Moxies. My wife and I eat at several vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Alberta - this would be on the lower spectrum. Pros: Loved the decor, the wait staff very friendly. The Mac and Cheese Burger. Cons: The excessive wait - granted it was a Friday but they should find a proper shelter for the several waiting. The costs for mediocre food. The Macro. Only decor issue I had was the Seating was painful -- literally chairs from elementary school. read more

Parking in this area wasn't the easiest, it's free after 5 or maybe 6... but I'm pretty sure a homeless guy let me park and charged me $5 to "watch my car" in case parking enforcement comes through red flag but that was the only spot open after driving around. Now for the food review, this was my first all vegan restaurant. I got the BBQ wings which were flavored really well! I also got the MeeT burger and it was good, the only issue was the taste of dairy free cheese but that's a personal thing. My boyfriend isn't vegan and he thought the burger was a lot better than expected. He did say the fries were one of the best fries he's ever had and I agree! read more

So, my friend took me to this place, and if she didnt tell me, I would have never guessed this place is vegan. We ordered butter chicken, and kimchi fries..or poutine, I cant remember but anyways they were both amazingly good! Full of flavors and very well cooked! Also the texture of the "meat" was very similar to real meat. I would definitely go back to try other menus. They also have good selection of drinks with their generously priced house lager on their happy hour :) read more

Never a bad meal We love this place. The menu is great in that as a Vegetarian you get to order anything you want and it is going to be Vegetarian. They do accommodate a gluten free diet and Vegan as well. I always order the the big yum bowl. It is so freaking tasty and filling. I keep saying I am going to try a burger but they are HUGE and I don't think i could eat it all! If you are looking for burgers, bowls, Mac and Cheese, Poutine, "Butter Chicken" or other favorites.. then this place is for you! *Pro-Tip don't go during regular meal hours (noon and dinner time) as they place will have a huge line up and they do not take reservations. read more

I completely enjoyed my meal here. I got the mac burger which has delicious mac and cheese in it. I also got their orange soda which was a nice add to the spicy burger. The soda had a nice depth and unique flavour to it! The fries that came with the burger were so nicely made; delicate and fluffy on the inside but crispy outside. read more

We stopped by here for dinner. I was in the mood for something not too heavy, but I also didn't want to dress up and wanted to walk somewhere ( it was very cold). Comfort vegan food sounded perfect. I would give my first experience a 3.5 and round it up to 4 because the service was friendly and attentive. There was a 20 ish minute wait on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm. We sat at a long communal table. The restaurant is pretty comfortable and causal; we felt like we had to slightly shout to have ourselves heard. My husband got the coconut double bacon burger which came with fries. I don't think there was anything noteworthy about the burger ( for him). I got the thai brown rice noodles with were pretty good and flavorful. We also got drinks and my mojito was enjoyable and so was his Young fashion =). The coconut chocolate cake dessert was pretty good ( a little too rich for me but perfect if that is what you are craving). This would be a fun place to go if you are looking for something down to earth in gas town with still a nice atmosphere. read more

I rarely give anything below 4 stars for vegan establishments because I believe in their mission to provide plant based menus to the masses. This 3 star review is mainly for the wait and service. Everyone knows this place can get busy, so on a Friday night, we weren't shocked when told it was a 35 min wait for table of 2. We gave our number so we would receive a text when our table was ready. We waited patiently outside and watched as our name went up the wait list. 45 min later, we saw we should have been the next party of 2 seated, but watched as 3 other party of 2s got seated before us. Hungry and tired, my hubs went to check and was told by the hostess that she gave up our table because we didn't respond. We showed her our text, we received the incoming welcoming text but no text showing our table was ready! Now 56 min into our wait, she sheepishly said sorry and told us we'll get a table when it's ready. Of course more parties of 4 got seated before us, and only after a 75 min wait, yes...we stuck it out, we were seated on a communal table. There was no other form of apology for making us wait twice as long as told, and for her error in not texting us. We knew we were on the list because we received the first confirmed text, but nothing thereafter. To add to the insult, waitress got my order wrong, food took another 45 min to come to the table, got a meet burger instead of the main, fries were cold, water was empty for 35 min before refilled and the burger was dry and underwhelming. The only thing that made our Friday night salvageable was the Mac and cheese. We left tired, hungry and frustrated. Next time, I'll do take out. read more

Came to Vancouver for 5 days and ate here 3 times! Yes, it's THAT good. The atmosphere was cool with a bohemian vibe. Edison lightbulbs with vintage crates and decor. The cocktails were delicious and the food was sooo good. My wife had the spinach artichoke dip 3 times because it was so good. Tasted better than non-vegan dip. I had the buffalo sandwich, the macro bowl and another type of bowl. All were super good. The assistant manager, Teal was so kind and professional. Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Try the bowls if you want something healthy or go for the burgers, sandwiches and deserts! All are extremely delicious. We will miss this place. read more

My partner and I have been looking for a good vegan restaurant, we finally found it. The food is absurdly delicious, I try something new every visit and have yet to be disappointed. It is usually quite busy, but it is located in an area that allows you to walk around if you have to wait for a table. The service is quite fast and the staff are very pleasant. Had the house kombucha, super tasty. Cannot say enough good things! Looking forward to coming back. read more

This is strictly vegan and vegetarian food. Zero meat to be had here. The Meet burger was subpar.

I am becoming a big fan of vegan/vegetarian food that actually manages to convince me (trick me) into thinking I am eating meat. There are few places and here in California, more places claim to be good substitutes but fall horrifically short. MeeT, however, did meet the standard and outclassed some of my favorite places. I grabbed the MeeT Burger and the turnaround time was pretty quick. Honestly, I have no clue if they have to cook it like a meat burger but I still was surprised. If I am in Vancouver, I am definitely coming back for lunch, especially considering the quality and price. read more

Soooooo much fun and fully vegan too! Comfort food for the other half. Nothing funky like alfalfa sprout gravy on ground kale burger. More like the kind of food you would make for your friends who don't understand why you choose not to eat meat. I had fries with cashew gravy and buffalo chiggin' wings. Unbelievably good. We also had a rice bowl, a noodle bowl and a couple of burgers. Everyone was sampled each other's plates. You couldn't help yourself. Every meal was perfect. Tasty and ample portions. The decor was fresh and retro. Very cool! The service was good. They were quite busy but, regardless, the whole staff made sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars ++ I'm definitely coming back. read more

I really wanted to love this place and I didn't : ( Perhaps I didn't order the best things on the menu? The menu looked great, but what ended up on my plate was just kind of average. I ordered the beet salad to start- this was actually my favorite dish- but it still didn't wow me. For my main, I had The Lovely bowl. This is your basic steamed veggies over brown rice- so in order for it to pop, the sauce has to be right. Unfortunately I could barely event taste the almond satay sauce. I was hoping for the right combination of ginger and spice and creamy almond butter- but there was barely any taste to it all. The bowl could have been much improved with some asian style chili hot sauce, like sriracha, etc. Perhpas the burgers are really where it is at and I'll have to give another menu item a try. read more

This is my favorite place to have lunch or dinner. Service is warm and friendly and food is healthy and very good taste .

My wonderful family indulged me yet again by letting me take us to a vegan restaurant while we were on vacation. Thankfully, delicious restaurants like MeeT mean I'll get to repeat the experience in the future. My mom and I got there first, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how busy it was on a Monday night. While we waited for my sister and dad to arrive, the waiter said, "Take your time. You can wait as long as you want" which is quite possibly the least American thing I've ever heard at a restaurant. For drinks, my sister got a kölsch beer, and I got their pineapple gin smash. Both were good although I wish mine was a little bigger. We started with the popular cauliflower appetizer, and everyone at the table was happy with it. The sauce had a little too much black pepper for my taste but still very good. We split two burgers among the four of us which was a perfect amount of food since they come with fries and salad. I got the Mac daddy burger, and I was super pleased it came with extra chipotle aioli because often times veggie burgers are way too dry. The fries were yummy, and my sister couldn't get enough of the salads. MeeT is a great option in Vancouver for veggies and omnis alike. read more

I was delighted by the Angry Burg! It was super tasty and the texture was perfect. The side salad was a nice little crispy treat to help make me feel less guilty about inhaling those freshly cut fries! I was visiting the area so not familiar with the area so it's a little challenging to get to if you're driving. I parked in the Easy Park lot and walked there...lots to take in since its in the middle of the town center. Lots of meat free choices at a good price so I hope I can make time to go back before I leave! read more

Can I do 10 stars? I am a life long (50 year) meat eater who was blown away by all 5 dishes we tried. Appetizers, mains, desserts,...they have it all, and it's all fantastic. Service is incredible as well. Fast , and they take the time to talk. Did I mention the ceasers? The juice is their own creation, and is the best I have ever had. Total hit here. Oh my gosh this place was amazing! I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but my daughter is and brought me to this place. My absolute favorite was the cauliflower bites that had a spicy chili sauce on them. The taste was exactly like a spicy buffalo chicken wing only cauliflower! Next up was the teem poutine. French fries done perfectly with the "gravy" with "cheez" curds and green onions. This was the first place we tried on our trip to Vancouver and we can't wait to go back another night before we leave. Give this place a try even if you aren't vegetarian or vegan!!! read more

This is hands down the best food I had in Vancouver. Interesting decor and fun people. I thought we might have to wait for a long time, but we were served almost immediately. We had cauliflower as the appetizer. Beefless bowl was so delish. Chikkin curry was great too. The portion sizes are huge so you definitely can pack the rest of the food and enjoy for one more day. We also ordered the cashew gravy fries. It wasn't definitely my favourite but it had a subtle cashew flavor for those who enjoy that. Had I lived in Vancouver, I would go here everyday. read more

Apparently, the GO to Place for Vegans in Vancouver Located in Gastown, MeeT has a hipster vibe and the eatery serves up an amazing selection of vegan "comfort food", according to my dining companions: burgers, chips, wings, sauteed shrooms, cashew sour cream. I've been a long time fan of Meet, but this was the first time I visited this location. I took some friends who were visiting from Edmonton and who were curious about Vegan food. I was scared after picking up the menu. Everything was vegan. Cheez. Chikkin. All vegan recreations of hamburgers, curries, and poutines...among others. Something I only tried once or twice before. I got the classic burger topped with vegan mayo. It came with a side of crispy and tasty fries, awesome dipping sauce, and a bowl of salad. The vegan mayo surprised me because it smelled different from the usual mayo; however, each bite of the classic burger was delicious. The curry was tasty. Friendly service. Warm ambiance. MeeT is yummy. read more

I ordered the Mac and cheese burger and I was a little confused...I was hoping for some actual macaroni in the burger but it seemed to just have the cheese and not very much of it. I think if it has actual macaroni pieces inside the burger then it would have made it a lot more unique' Overall taste was delicious! I'm not a really big fan of mushrooms so if you don't like mushrooms I wouldn't recommend ordering this. Next time I'll have to try ordering something else. June 22nd - my friend and I returned to this place with our gift card that was provided to us over yelp as we received the wrong burger. This time we ordered the Mighty Mac and cheese and the double double. The double double was delicious, I had never had coconut (vegan) bacon! The cheese on the double double burger was delicious too. Next was the night mac and cheese - it was so good but our mouths were on fire. The burger was too spicy and took away from the star of the show - the delicious Mac and cheeez. If you like spicy food this one is a top pick, if not I would skip this order and go for the double double. read more

Amazing. Getting decent gluten free vegan options can be difficult, especially for dessert. This place satisfied all my cravings. The hot chiggins were a great chicken substitute. The beet salad Was decently sized and they didn't scrimp on the beets. It also came with this amazing cashew 'cheddar' paste on top, wish there was more. Cashew cheese gf Mac n cheese was awesome. I was worried it would be caked in that fake cheese, but this was just perfect. Dessert consisted of the Cro-nut (not gf :( sadly) the only thing on the desert list that not gf. I had the fruit crumble. It was little dry, so next time I would get it with the ice cream. Fantastically priced for the Gastown area. Trying out the main location in 2 days read more
