Meet Fresh - Ube Milk Shaved Ice, Grass Jelly Signature C, Herbal Jelly Tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Flushing, New York

Never tried Meet Fresh before, but I'm glad they opened up here in Flushing! We came here after our friends recommended it and we were happy with the tasty desserts. We liked the Icy Grass Jelly Signature with side of Ube and Potaro balls and the Caramel Pudding. It was a nice combination of flavors. They have a wide variety of drinks as well, but seems like they're most popular for their desserts. Would like to come back and try more items of their menu! read more

Ordered the Icy Taro Ball Signature. The balls were chewy but the shaved ice was completely frozen. It was a huge chunk of ice.

The quality of the shaved ice at this location is wildly inconsistent. I came here twice in a month, and both times I received different toppings for the same order. The first time was takeout and when I opened the bowl, it appeared that someone prepared the shaved ice and then dumped it into the bowl so everything was upside down. The second time was sit-down and I noticed they were missing the taro ball topping that I had in my order last time. The ice also seemed a little crunchier too. Overall, not the best option for dessert in Flushing, much less the Tangram mall. read more

I'm a huge fan of bubble tea and passed by this place and thought it looked interesting! We waited behind a bunch of kids for like 20 minutes for the kiosk because the menus this place had were so small and hard to read, and unorganized. My sister and I ordered the ube milk tea and they told us they'd text our number when our order was ready, but my phone died at that point, and my sisters phone was already at 1%. I didn't like how this place relied on text message to know when your order is ready, they should be able to show your order number on the screen. I may be wrong, but the guy who took our order literally stood there while we stood by the register waiting for our order. Unclear if they messaged us or not, we were a little confused as to when we'd get our drinks. But we ended up getting our drinks 5 minutes after when the guy finally took the hint that we were still waiting. The ube milk tea ended up being delicious, but they ended up putting so much ube in my sisters drink that it was thick and hard to sip on. Overall, I'd probably go to the other bubble tea/ice creams shops around that area next time as my experience at this place was a bit poor read more

I really enjoy anything Taro so I really like this place. I think I ordered a signature one I don't remember. Overall was really good it's not really sweet it's kind of like healthy dessert I feel. Taro was so good and soft and very flavorful then ice came and it's was bland but taro taste I don't know how to explain but it was perfectly balanced. The warm one is really good as well. Like taste amazing. I prefer kiosk because easier to order. Service was fast and place is clean and pretty big and also pretty hehe. If you come I think you will enjoy. read more

Didn't quite feel the love. The presentation of was great, but the flavors were just meh. I guess I was expecting shaved ice to be soft and snow like and less chunky chipped ice like. The rest of the desserts aside from the beautiful to look at shaved, we're just average. The coconut sago I ordered with taro, came with giant pieces of tarp that were super hard, maybe not cooked long enough. They were huge chunks that were extremely difficult to cut with the spoon. The automated kiosk doesn't work well, but the staff is pretty helpful. Not sure I I'll return as there's other dessert places in flushing with better flavors. It's super pricy for what you get. read more

Amazing bubble tea and loved the helpful customer service!!! I would definitely recommend

The place that's a must-go every time when I go to flushing!! $10 for egg waffle, Overpriced, overcooked, very disappointed! One time deal, would not try again! Highly NOT recommended!

Bad experience, I only want some dessert make with milk, and I ask the cashier before I purchase, which type of dessert come with milk, and he told me only glass jelly with milk,(and the picture from the menu looks milky) then I ordered it. When I get my order, only! one! Creamer, and if I ask more need to pay $0.25 for each mini creamer! Seriously! And I told the young lady may I exchange the creamer to normal milk, she said no. Just feel so bad experience with it, I paid about $12, just one tiny creamer only, and under the top is slush (just ice), not full bowl. NEVER EVER return! read more

i prefer the other meet fresh locations over this one.. they're so much nicer. The employees here have low energy and slow service. I requested extra mini taro balls to my drink 3 times to 3 different employees because they did not seem to understand and the first guy wearing a black hoodie just seemed like he was stressed out so he told other employee to take my order. I don't want to ever go back to this location because of the sucky service and they didn't even put enough toppings in my drink compared to other meet fresh locations i been to. read more

Too bad I can't give no star. I was just there at 7ish and there was a line. We waited for maybe 10-15 min when it's finally our turn, the guy looked at his watch and said "it's 8. We closed". Seriously? I asked how is that possible and we waited this whole time without anyone telling us you don't serve right by 8. Then the guy said. Oh we are out of some ingredients. But really? You didn't even ask what We were going to order. Is that how you treat your customers? I've never seen anyone doing business this way. Won't come back again even though it's 5 min away from where I live. I rather go to other locations or Snow Show in flushing. read more

This meet fresh is nothing comparable to the one in the city. The amount of toppings they give is absurd! I ordered the winter melon tea with mini taro and they give literally like 1/4 of what they give in the city.. that drink is like $7... that's almost the price of an entire meal... most people go to meet fresh for the toppings yet they are being so cheap with it. Would not be going back because it's not worth my money. You guys need to hold up the brand to what it should be.let me just show a picture of what it should look like. The picture is from my drink I got from the city. read more

Yesterday, I went to see a movie at Tangram Mall with my friends. I heard that there is a Meet Fresh there for a long time, and finally had the chance to try it. Meet fresh is a famous chain and I would usually get it from the city. Since they close one the one in the city, they opened up this one in Flushing which I was excited about, however, the service is not up to par. Had to wait extra long for my order and by the time I got home I found out it was the wrong order. Order the hot grass jelly signature but got a cold grass jelly signature instead. Very disappointed but will try again once they are more established and hopefully the service will get better. read more

Totally a rip off!!! Super DISAPPOINTED!! I always go to the one in the city and I loved it there so much! I was very excited they open one in flushing. I ordered the hot almond soup with mochi and red bean, but I was in shocked how tiny they are and it was soooo little! It was so little to the point that I was having a hard time to scoop it up. I was pretty much paying over $10 for the almond soup itself which I can easily make it at home. I didn't realize the mochi was mini, but this mini is super mini. I ordered the same one from the one in the city few times, but the mochi is in bigger size and the portion is soooo much bigger and definitely worth the value! I would have spent my money tonight at Kulu or prince tea house for better value. Will I be back? No thank you read more

Ordered hot almond soup and Boba caramel pudding. waited 40+ minutes for my hot almond soup and then was told they ran out of boba for the boba caramel pudding my boyfriend ordered. I asked for a refund on the pudding and that took an additional 10 minutes because the system suddenly went down. Upon getting home, the soup looked lackluster and lacking ingredients. Mochis were not only small in size but extremely small amount... and all other ingredients were minuscule. I'm very confused by this because all other places I've been to had much better portion sizes. You can see my photo here that it's basically just almond soup.. EXTREMELY disappointed as well because they kicked everyone out from the seating area while we were waiting because they were closing. Everyone still had to wait 30+ minutes for our orders. We did not know it would take this long, otherwise we would not have ordered! Nor were we told they were running out of ingredients. They lacked communication and customer service... It was also $1 sales tax on $10.50?? that's 9.52%? Can someone please verify if the tax is correct? They never apologized and seemed extremely rushed and chaotic. Very unhappy with this. Would not come back to this location. read more

Great atmosphere, very modern, clean looking space. Came upon this recently when I looked up 'Taiwanese dessert' and did not realize it's a chain. A lot of these Asian dessert places are order by the screen and all have the same stuff basically- brown sugar boba, drinks, shaved ice, etc. I started asking a lot of questions because the menu was not marked clearly. They did not have distinctions for GF or V or anything like that only peanut allergen warnings. I asked one server if it's vegan and gluten free and she had to ask a couple other people. I ended up getting the Icy Ube Signature with grass jelly, Ube balls and taro balls. Very delicious. They put the half and half on the side, so basically any of their desserts without ice cream or cream are vegan, and the whole menu is pretty much gluten free. It's just nice to know ahead of time. It is a bit pricey for these simple ingredients but it's large portions and meant for sharing. Mochi and these chewy balls have a very special place in my heart as it was my favorite dessert growing up and the most difficult to find. Now it's everywhere!!! read more

If you wanna fulfill a perfect summer time, come visit this dessert shop! It has delicious ice cream plus various desserts that will flirt your tongue! Strongly recommend the classic vanilla ice cream with shaved ice and taro mochi! The hot drinks are good too, but leave it to the upcoming fall and winter time!!! The desserts here are perfect combinations of East and West. The traditional Taiwanese dessert in combination with American made ice cream create a unforgettable experience! In addition to the food and dessert, the nice, clean, and comfortable dining environment adds a sweet atmosphere. The service is also very kind and polite! 5 stars recommendation, you will never regret!!! read more

Tried the same branch in Manhattan. It literally taste the same. After the hotpot next door, it was great to have a dessert right after. We tried the strawberry shaved ice, just as yummy as the mango shaved ice in Manhattan. Also the winter melon tea free when they are doing promotion like you post review or something. I don't think it's overpriced, especially spot cost more than $15 a dessert after tax and tips. Don't know what to complain about, cause they are self service and are not requiring the tips read more

When me and my friend went, they didn't have the strawberry and mango shaved ice. Understandable, since both were seasonal flavors. My friend and I both expected something similar to bingsoo Korean shaved ice. The shaved ice was more like carnival shaved ice, and it had basically combined into a huge ice mountain so we had to dig at it with our spoons. Ice was pretty flavorless, and all the mochi around it was just ok. And the bill came out to be like $19. read more

I was surprised how much I like their desert. The shop is located near the entry next to the Renaissance Hotel. The decoration is very modern and chic. You could either order on kiosk or in person at the register. I would say this is more a desert place than bubble tea. My double Taro Signature was very delicious and not overly sweet. It took less than 5 mins to receive the order, so not too bad at all. read more

The desserts are great here - reminiscent of the red bean, taro, peanut, taro balls, shaved ice, etc. desserts one can get from Taiwan. Their mango and strawberry desserts seem to often be sold out. Two suggestions for Meet Fresh that would've made this a five star review: 1) the shaved ice is a bit more like crushed ice than shaved ice, and 2) they really should have someone managing the distribution of takeout orders. Completed orders just sit there, while workers are busily prepping other orders. read more

Today the weather is so hot and I needed to have some cool things to eat. So I went there, and I didn't know what I order, so I asked my friend, and my friend recommended "ube and taro paste signature". i ordered it, and tasted it, it was soo delicious. This bowl included grass jelly shaved ice, grass jelly, ube&taro paste, and taro balls. Taro ball was so amazing, it was soooo chewy. And This time was the first time that I ate grass jelly, and I fell in love with the jelly. The paste was also very nice. I liked taro paste more than ube becasue it was less sweet. So If I try another time, I'll try double taro signature. Cuz it has an ice cream ball instead of a ube paste. So niceeee food. I really recommend this one!!! Try!!!! You should!! read more
