Xing Fu Tang is a Taiwanese chain built around brown sugar bubble tea, and the location is dead central on a busy, touristy stretch with foot traffic everywhere. Tons of options on the menu and a quick, efficient ordering system, which you'll appreciate because the place is tiny and the lines get long. My only real note is the sugar. There is a genuinely alarming amount of it packed into each drink, which is kind of the entire point of brown sugar boba, but consider yourself warned if you value your teeth. I love this neighborhood, and this scratched the itch. Grab a drink and go wander Flushing.

They couldn't just give it to me? -sigh- Also, for whatever reason, they make drinks and put it on the table, but don't have someone consistently checking that the order(s) are done and so some orders literally sat completed and people were waiting around all crowded in the storefront, and finally several got the attention of the staffers in order to show their numbers and point out their drinks were done... left some of the customers pretty unhappy at both the ordering and pickup stage for the lack of someone consistently working. The plastic shield also blocked audio so that made it harder to order because it was hard to hear the staffer clearly. This store located in the new mall on prince st in flushing really gave me a positive surprising experience. It was at first a bit hard locating the store, but seeing a long line caught my attention. It does seem that their products catch a lot of fans. I had been wanting to try it out so badly since I work most of the time, and I don't have the time to try new things. So I waited on line. They would ask me for my phone number so when the food is ready they'll shoot us a message. They would tell me in advance that it would take up to 20minutes. I appreciate this point because some places I have once waited for 20minutes or so and I didn't even know it at first. So during this time, I walked around the mall. I went to miniso and bought a plush. And when I got the text i just head right to it. I ordered a double taro signature, since I love grass jelly (also some other stores call it herbal jelly). Plus, I think their ice cream tasted really good. It wasn't that sweet like the ice cream we buy from bjs. I like the soft taste to it. On the bottom there is also grass jelly shaved ice, giving it a more crunchy texture. Really would recommend! read more

I know that She's a taro ball lover so I ordered a icy grass jelly signature for her, and ordered a icy taro ball signature for myself to try. This is my first time here, I don't usually eat desserts cuz it's usually really sweet, but when I try this, it's really my taste!! I asked the employee who work there, they told me that the taro paste is fully made with taro. Which was a bit shock, I thought there will be flour added into it. That's probably why the taro paste taste so "natural"! They even sent text messages to tell us that our order is ready!!! so we didn't miss it. And the employee's attitude was very nice too. I believe the grass jelly series is their major product. I have tried it several times and highly recommend it! I got their black sugar boba milk shaved ice this time. Meet Fresh is definitely my recent favorite dessert place, so I got my friend here to give them a try. The three of us had ordered an icy grass jelly signature, pudding and Q mochi milk shaved ice, and a mini Q toufu pudding. The toufu pudding is pretty soft, while the mini Q is kinda chewy， so actually， it kinda goes well together. The two shaved ice were very good in flavor. (for those who don 't know, grass jelly shaved ice is underlying at the grass jelly) Its perfect to eat in summer. And I really love the jelly-like texture. For the other shaved ice, I personally like the caramel pudding more because I'm don't really like almond, but it's worth a try if you like it because it's really rich. read more

Me and my friend feel like we need some desserts after eating hotpot, so we just came here and bought a pudding and Q mochi milk shaved ice and a Grass jelly combo#B, (But I forgot to take a pi of the GJ #b!!!!). Although it's only a medium-sized shaved ice, i feel like it's enough for 2 people cuz it has a thick layer of toppings. And I just realized that! ! the large size one is only $1 more expensive! That works out to about $19. Which appears to be a pretty good deal. And their service/attitude was excellent. We'll also see them come out to check if there's any missing dishes or dirty tables. The weather today was pretty hot, so my friends and I bought two drinks after passing by Meet Fresh. I'm really a big fan of Boba( all types of boba!), I ordered one black sugar boba fresh milk tea cuz I feel like it would look good in pictures. I ordered my friend a mango passion fruit green tea. I kinda like my drink cuz their black sugar boba weren't too sweet. And the other thing that's really nice about is that the environment inside the store is very well decorated and suitable for taking photos. There were Once when I went to Meet Fresh and asked one of their employees if they had egg waffles or not. But I guess I didn't make it at the right timing, they were out of the ingredients at that time, it was a pity that I could not eat them. The next time I went,I got lucky and brought their last chocolate-flavored egg waffles. When I opened the box, there was a strong chocolate smell spreading in the air. Which was also extremely tasty! This time I had one oolong milk tea (with very little sugar cuz I don't like it to be too sweet) and a icy grass jelly signature, with extra red beans and a scoop of ice cream. Their ice cream were rrally silky and smooth. I am always obessed with milk flavored ice cream, here shaved ice blended with milk and cream are the best I ever had!! It was too cold to have it at first, but it tasted even better after melting a bit. I personally recommended the one with black sugar bubble, very classical milktea flavor. The ube-rri was by far the most delicious mousse I've had, everything about the dessert blended so well together. There's a lot of celebrity visitors on the walls and I can see why! It's pretty tight in the seating area but they do a good job of getting people in and out. I actually do think the wait for these desserts was worth it.

This location doesn't have a lot of seats but they were able to sit us down (party of 7) by pushing the tables together. The servers were funny and friendly and they made sure to take care of us. This place offers a variety of desserts, bubble tea and fruit tea drinks, as well as hot teas and some alcoholic beverages. It's a good place to hang out and socialize and I would say it usually is very lively.

Loved how they weren't too sweet and how the textures were preserved despite getting take out! Mango Pomelo Sago 杨枝甘露 - classic, tangy and lightly sweet from the mango, chewy Sago Makkee Deluxe 麦麦大满贯 - loved the brown sugar flavors of the peach gum and crunchiness of the grass jelly. Appreciated the ratio of ingredients along with the textural contrast of the slurpy peach gum, slightly mushy mung beans and chewy potato mochi balls! Taro Black Sticky Rice Mochi Fresh Milk 香芋黑米麻薯鲜奶 - how can you not like the chewy almost-drinkable mochi?? The sticky rice was also chewy with just a crunch and nicely cooked. Taro Coconut Sago 香芋椰汁西米露 - a little off with the coconut milk to ingredient ratio but I didn't mind the extra taro and sago! The containers were all very sturdy! Be sure to give everything a good mix! Would come back the next time I'm craving Chinese desserts!

The Makkee Deluxe was okay, it had a good amount of toppings like trap balls, red bean, grass jelly and lotus seeds(which I haven't seen before in desserts). The combination of the milk base and toppings was yummy and not overly sweet. If I had to recommend anything it would be this. The Mango Snow Black Sticky Rice was not good at all. The milk base was completely frozen. Although I think the combination of the sticky rice and mango was good, the dessert overall was lack-luster. Both came with a drink, a jasmine milk tea, also nothing special. Since the their opening, I haven't gone back so it may have changed since then.

I have not tried too many things here, so this review is mainly based on their various egg tarts…read more Honestly, all the different flavors are decent, but I still prefer the original. The filling is creamy and custardy, not too sweet, sitting inside of a crispy and flaky crust. These egg tarts are also very large, which is reflected by the $3.90 price tag for each. With that said, buy five and the sixth is free. That's a pretty good deal. As for the decor, formerly Iris Bakery, they created a second floor seating area that utilizes the space better than before. Service is quick and relatively friendly. Next time, I plan to try some of their beverages.

The tarts are decently sized as well so you can share. It's a good spot with seating upstairs, a nice little bakery / cafe atmosphere.
