These many people can only mean one thing, that the food is delicious! I loved their huge menu with food for anyone's tastes. As a Pescatarian it's hard to find salmon at Mediterranean food places and Green Olive had several plates to choose salmon and shrimp. I ordered their Salmon Kabob plate that came with yummy rice, a salad, hummus and a pita. It was served with a garlic white sauce and a green slightly spicy sauce. I drizzled both on the kabobs and rice and everything blended perfectly. The salmon was seasoned so well and was so tender! It was perfectly cooked because it retained the softness salmon needs. I also got a pistachio cheesecake that was so light and delicious without being overly sweet. It was a perfect ending to an amazing food plate. The ambiance had average loud noise level since it is small on the inside, however they have plenty of outdoor seating which is where we sat. Even though there are other Mediterranean places close to me, I can see myself going to this location because of their expansive menu.

I respond with a resounding "hell yes!" I was hoping for a treat, but I had no idea that my expectations were going to be blown out of the water. At 10:30 at night place had tons of customers and the food was amazing. A woman by the name of Liza helped us out, letting us know that the food was made fresh so we might need some time, which we were definitely willing to take a chance on. I got the chicken kabob gyro, and my partner got a beef gyro. Both of us were grunting like animals between bites we kept yelling, " oh hell yeah!" Every bite was more delicious than the last. Their house packaged sauce called LebMex, a mix between Lebanese and Mexican I imagine, was just the right amount of heat and the whipped garlic butter that it was served with was out of this world. They also have some rarities in the refrigerator like tick tock famous pineapples soaked in Kool Aid and Warhead Lemonade. There were so many awesome selections on the menu that one could almost be paralyzed by the choices. Once we were done we had to round back to tell Liza how pleased we were and we swore an oath of duty to return as soon as we could to sample more of the delectable menu.

And WOW... this place is beautiful! Everyone inside was so friendly, and they have video screens showing all the delicious food. I was standing there thinking, Oh boy... I'm about to break every diet I've ever been on. Because let's be honest... Mediterranean food CAN be healthy, but it can also become very UNhealthy depending on what you pick. And I picked GOOD. I got the trio with chicken, steak and seasoned beef, along with that perfectly cooked rice with the little noodles in it (I have no idea what it's actually called ‍), plus hummus. But let's STOP for a moment and recognize the garlic hot sauce that comes on the side. OH. MY. GOODNESS. That stuff is DELICIOUS! I could put it on just about everything. The whole meal was fantastic, and there was so much food that I'm saving the rest for dinner. Win-win! And then came dessert... It had a crumb-like base, Jell-O-ish putting custard, deliciousness with green pistachio on top. I'm not exactly sure what it was called, but this thing was SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS! I also noticed they have a bunch of really cool drinks that I've never even seen before, so now I'm excited to come back and start trying those. And OF COURSE I grabbed a menu because I already knew this place was going to be good. I like to plan ahead. Yeah... they better get used to seeing my face because I'm about to become a regular! Since this is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, I initially expected someone to seat me, but I was simply told to find any available table and start eating. That was perfectly fine with me. The food selection included several salads, meats, and other dishes, but unfortunately, nothing really stood out. Overall, I found the food fairly average. The main reason for my two-star rating, however, was what happened when I paid. My bill was around $36.50. I paid cash with one $20 bill and four $5 bills, for a total of $40, and told the cashier to keep the change. What made me uncomfortable was that almost immediately after I handed her the money--while she was still saying "Have a good day"--she pulled out a counterfeit-detection pen and started checking my bills right in front of me. I understand that businesses may have policies for checking cash, and I have no problem with a restaurant protecting itself against counterfeit money. However, the way this was handled felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and somewhat insulting. She could easily have waited until I had stepped away before checking the bills instead of immediately testing them in front of me as soon as I handed them over. I was not rushing out of the restaurant or behaving suspiciously in any way. Of course, I have never knowingly used counterfeit money. The whole interaction simply left me feeling as though I was being treated with suspicion for no apparent reason. If checking cash is standard procedure, I can understand that. But customer service also matters, and there are more discreet ways to handle it without making a paying customer feel accused or embarrassed. Between the average food and this unpleasant experience at checkout, I can only give this restaurant two stars.
