I ordered the gyro bowl and everything was fresh and tasty without being too greasy. It probably matters that the grill hadn't been used and was completely devoid of old fat and grease from previous orders, so the meat I got was crispy and light... just perfect! The feta cheese was fresh, along with the vegetables and lettuce that everything came with. I was completely satisfied. I'm not giving it 5 stars only because it IS fast food and I've had better at a restaurant. But this place is probably the healthiest option at the stonewood mall food court. The only way this would be better is if they had brown rice instead of white. But I can't expect them to cater to MY preferences. I'm sure most people prefer the taste of white rice. The food is good but the service is horrible! The guy working wants to rush you through, he charged me before i said what sides i wanted and when I realized the rice was a side I told him I wanted that plus the sides and he told me with an attitude I couldn't do that and there was a minimum for credit so he couldn't charge me for the extra side. I asked him why he didn't ask me this before he charged me and he said he explained himself three times. I'm in the customer you need to explain things as many times as I need so I get what I want. The woman finally told him to give it to me. I would have paid for anything but he was too busy trying to rush me away that I couldn't say what I wanted. I unexpectedly came to the mall, and was feeling so hungry. I originally was going to grab some pizza because I didn't want to explore the other options in case that I didn't like it. However, I discovered that Mediterranean Delight had falafel and decided to eat here instead! The falafel pita sandwich that I had was so delicious, it was served with really tasty hummus and a complementary Greek salad. Came in today and ordered the fish plate, I asked the cashier ahead of time if the fish had a lot of oil and she said not at all.. So I ordered it with brown rice and the salads. When the food was ready I noticed the fish was extremely yellow with lots of seasoning.. I figured it probably tasted better than it looked. Well. I was wrong. The fish had a bright yellow hue through the middle, I've never seen an entirely yellow fish and the color stained the rice beneath it. It wasn't even cooked all the way and it tasted extremely oily and salty. I couldn't even eat it! So apart from the cashier lying, the disgusting fish and the extremely long wait.. I went to get food here on New Year's Day. I showed up right at 11:00 AM (when they were supposed to open). I saw someone working in the back so after waiting for awhile, I called out to him. I asked him if they were open. He responded "Of course not." I didn't know what to make of that response. I placed an order of 5 of the same plates. I politely asked if he could put all of the rice into one container and all of the salad into another so that I didn't have to spoon the salad out in order to reheat the meat. He said that he couldn't do this. I tried to reason with him, but he was inflexible about not doing it! I asked him his name. It turns out he was the manager (named Armand). Very slow service, it's amazing how they can take so long when the food is already cooked and I never order meat but they still take forever. The food is okay it's not bad and neither is the price. It's definitely a health concern that they put the cooked & raw meat all in the same fridge definitely a case of cross-contamination and they do it right in front of your face so they truly don't care so maybe don't eat meat here either. The first time my boyfriend and I ate here was on Dec 2018 when he came out to visit me. We had stayed at the hotel by the mall so it was convenient. We walked around and decided we were hungry he's like what do they have we looked around we spotted the Mediterranean place and both thought Gyro so we order that. We've had them before elsewhere. We sat down and took our bite and we were like wow DELICIOUS! He loved it said it was the best he's had. Fast forward year he visits me again..Jan 27 first day just getting out here we're like what to eat I'm like what about Gyros gets excited Yess I check the time I'm like the mall closes at 9 we had to walk further from near the Promenade we made it. Ordered our food they were so sweet the cashier was Jackie we were telling her the story that we loved them came all the way from GA best he's had that he wanted more when he came here. Located inside of the Stonewood Mall food court this restaurant is the only of its kind, at least in that mall. They offer felafels, gyros, and other Mediterranean foods. The girls here are typically nice and I usually don't have any problems with getting the sides or sauces that I need. I just wish the food tasted a little bit more fresh. By far the best deal in any mall is this place! Probably the healthiest option, too! The grilled chicken meal with two sides is only $4.99! My go-to sides are the tabouleh or Greek salad and dolmas (you get 3 mouth watering dolmas!) I am a big fan of Greek food, and this is good stuff. This place is in the Stonewood Mall. Their kabobs are pretty good. The basmati rice is well cooked. I worked with middle easters and the food is pretty much the same. The grilled tomato, the cucumber and tomato salad. They make the kabobs while you wait, so they are fresh. The 3 stars is for the mall dining area being loud and somewhat dirty. read more
