Mediterra Cafe offers a wide selection of pastry options that rotate every month. The zebra cakes are a classic and the unique monthly treats always hit the spot. The food is also always delicious and the seasonal coffee flavors! A great place to grab lunch!

I stopped by for a weekday lunch with some friends recently. I've been to Mediterra a loooot since it opened, and this is pretty much the only combo I order anymore becuase it is just so good. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I love when I come on a nice day and I can sit outside at one of the umbrella tables. Love the food, love the pastries, love the vibes.

I enjoyed this cute little shop. There are 2 parts to it. One side is a bar and the other side is like a little bakery. They do have a few GF options for the bakery. I opted for a chocolate chip cookie and it was super soft and really tasty. My boyfriend got the soup and a turkey sandwhich on GF Fococcia. The soup was pretty good. It had a bunch of different flavors in it but it was a little sweet and I didnt expect that. I was expecting savory. I loved that they had a local brewing company in their bar too. I love when business support each other!

Love the vibe and food selection! It could be a little loud but still a great place to hang out with friends. Their shakshuka is the best in pgh I think, a lil spicy in the tomato sauce and with feta on top, so good! Service can be improved, waiters feel like under training.

I tried this place for lunch while passing through Pittsburg. And it was a GREAT choice. I had Turkish eggs - the toast was perfectly toasted, and the labne-egg situation was just what I was craving that day. Healthy & tasty! I also bought a 1 liter bottle of Mountain Valley Spring water for the road and they charged a fair price like in a grocery store which I appreciated. A lot of times in a cafe 1L bottle is around $10. And also they had delicious chocolate milk for sale which I enjoyed. Overall great vibes, a little busy, delicious food and fair prices. Highly recommend!!

A perfect location in Mt Lebo! I always enjoy my time here. The food presentation is so elegant & their baristas are great at what they do. You can work here at the bar as they have many outlets for your laptops. You can eat outside where it's a dog friendly patio. Truly a great spot here in Beverly RD.

Mediterra is my favorite breakfast/lunch spot in Lebo. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My two favorites are the shakshuka and the breakfast sandwich. The baked goods are always delicious.

Stumbled upon this charming cafe a while back and loved the vibe and food- a must-visit everytime I'm in town. Had another wonderful brunch today. Every dish we tried was delicious: the smoked salmon toast was fresh and flavorful, the French toast perfectly indulgent, and the drip coffee smooth and well-balanced. Highly recommend for coffee, pastries, and brunch!

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this morning we decided to go to Mediterra Cafe. While my wife and I have been going to Mediterra Cafe in Sewickley for many years, we had never made out to this location which is located right in the heart of the business district on Beverly Road. While they only have a few spots out front to park, there is plenty of parking on Beverly itself as well as in some side street lots. This Mediterra location actually ended up being quite large and had both a good amount of indoor seating as well as a large outdoor seating area. Granted it was too cold to sit out there and so no one was, but i was impressed with its size. Beyond the seating it also has a small market in one side of the shop where you can pick up some dry goods and then there are multiple display cases and window areas filled with baked goods. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with one of their specials the honey rose latte while my wife also went with a special, the cherry mocha. Beyond that i chose to have a ham & cheese croissant while my wife went with a crookie, my son a cupcake and my daughter a cake pop. After a little bit of a wait, we had our food and headed back to our car. I first ate my croissant which I thought was delicious. The outside had a nice and crunchy exterior while the ham and cheese provided a flavorful inside. My wife really enjoyed her crookie and called it insane while my kids both devoured their cupcake and cake pop respectively. My coffee here was a little less successful. While I could definitely taste the coffee, I thought that the rose flavor was a bit strong and so my coffee came off perfumy. I was also surprised that as I got towards the bottom that I found something weird in my cup. Whenever I opened it up I discovered that they had used what I believed to be actual which would help to explain the strong flavor. My wife had no qualms about her coffee though and thoroughly enjoyed hers. The bottom line for me is that i would stop back here again in the future. While my coffee on this visit wasn't super successful, my wife enjoyed hers and my whole family each throughly enjoyed the baked good that we chose.

Very cute cafe with gourmet grocery selection. Bakery case and a few breakfast options. Delicious coffee! Arrived at opening and by the time we left, this place was packed in a Sunday morning.

Perfect fast casual European style cafe serving specialty coffees, artisan breads, and melt in your mouth pastries. Shakshouka and french toast are divine. No notes.

very pricey. Yesterday we picked up 4 sandwiches, no drinks or chips and the order was $70. Good quality but not worth that price.

That's good because it was colder than a witch's hoo-ha outside. After spending a lot of time al fresco at Randyland, I think I was breathing icicles by the time I saw this corner cafe, one of a local chain named for what Pittsburgh residents call themselves. It was a welcome sight because I needed something to warm myself before my final walk to the parking garage. Housed in a vintage brick building, it was a cavernous space with tall ceilings and fortunately open tables. I got to try their Samarkand plov/osh, Samarkand bread/naan/non, Napoleon cake, and the suzma. I really enjoyed nearly all of the items. Starting backwards with the suzma, this was kind of like labneh, the Turkish yogurt dish. Quite good, but this felt a little more liquidy while still being rich. Very strong whole milk flavor. The Uzbek bread is always delicious. They give you a huge piece of bread that is crunchy at the sides and soft in the middle. Perfect for eating any of the main entrees with, especially kebabs. Nice seed topping as well. The Samarkand plot was quite nice too. My first time ever having plov, finally! Glad to try it from this place. They give you a nice serving size. The rice is a little bit oily, and I typically like the rice to be cooked longer (it still had a pretty strong bite to it), but the flavor was nice overall. Savory from the meat, sweet (almost a bit too sweet) from the carrots, and richness from the spices and oil. I really liked that they included chickpeas as well. All in all, I quite enjoyed this place. Probably not my favorite Uzbek in the area, but still, very good. I would like to come back to try some of the other items they added.

The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the time we arrived until we left, often checking on our experience without being intrusive. They also helpfully explained the menu and the presence of some special treats already on the table when we arrived--there for guests coming to break their fast for that day of Ramadan. We very much enjoyed everything we ate, starting with a Samosa and Shuba (with the awesome translation of "Fur Coat"), and through our main courses of Plov, Layered Uzbek dumplings, and steak with rice. The Plov and layered dumplings were particular standouts for generous servings of perfectly seasoned dishes with complex flavor--seem like they would be particularly great entry points for folks less familiar with Uzbek cuisine. We were too full to eat dessert, but took home some honey cake for dessert. That was reminiscent of baklava with its layers of crispy cake and honey, but also very much its own thing, and definitely something I will be ordering next time, too. I worry folks will miss this local gem down at the end of the Kuhn's parking lot, and hope the word gets out--it's definitely worth a visit!

I had to stop into Fredo's after seeing photos from my daughter who had just spent two weeks in Bosnia. The interior of Fredo's is like stepping into a small shop you'd find in Bosnia. The yellow walls are welcoming, and cozy. There's a small variety of snacks, and beverages on one side of the shop, and a large counter where you'd place your order. There are a few tables for dining in, but I chose to take my order home. I ordered a small Cevapi and Sirnica, plus picked up some Croatian chocolate for dessert. The Cevapi were delicious skinless beef and veal sausages, that were nicely savory and well browned. A cup of chopped onions, and what I think was a yogurt sauce came with my Cevapi which added more flavor and an overall goodness to the Cevapi. A bread similar to a pita made eating Cevapi easy, and filling. The Sirnica was equally delicious. A wonderful mix of flaky, chewy phyllo pastry, and cheese baked inside the pastry. It definitely hit the spot with a nice balance of a light pastry and mild cheese. I ate the leftover half cold, and it was just as good! The lady at the counter was friendly, and patient with me. The menu is truly a deli menu full of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. If you're wanting to go for the House Specials, you won't be disappointed!
