I don't usually think those words go together but after this dish, I am surprisingly delighted. The crepe was light and pleasant, not overbearing. Gepetto Café's second location is just as adorable as their Lawrenceville spot. The atmosphere is warm and cheerful, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Obsessed with their Pistachio Latte. They offer savory and sweet dishes from their Euro- inspired menu! The classic breakfast and thire incredible seasonal authentic dish: the Çılbır (poached egg with yogurt and spices) were insane. We stopped into this cute little spot on Liberty for breakfast yesterday & were not disappointed! I had previously only had Geppetto's for dinner & was excited to try their breakfast menu. I got the veggie skillet which was filling without being heavy. It had perfectly sautéed mushrooms, peppers, & onions, a lot of melty cheese, & crispy breakfast potatoes. I unfortunately had already had a coffee with me that morning (this breakfast stop was impromptu), but I definitely want to go back to try one of their delicious looking lattes. Super cute story book themed ambience created a nice vibe for a perfect brunch. I rarely have a time where I can say confidently that I had to resist licking the plate but I had the Geppetto Signature crepe and my goodness it was delicious! Left the restaurant thinking about coming back delicious. Chai latte was also up to snuff, which can certainly be hit or miss. Service was good and friendly. Food came out hot, no complaints. The menu has a nice variety of sweet and savory crepes along with paninis, salads and pastries. We were looking for a late breakfast and this location was nearby and we have enjoyed the first location. My Bonjour crepe was very good. Filled with egg and brie cheese with some applewood bacon on top and fresh fruit. Really enjoyed our breakfast. read more

Love this location. The interior is adorable. Food is just ax excellent at LV however I actually prefer the interior here. Before being Geppettos it had been a coffee shop. The space is perfect for brunch. I literally own my home 10 doors around the corner from the LV store and actually prefer this spot. Staff is just as friendly as their original shop. What a beautiful gem here in Bloomfield with plenty of seats, spacious, and lots to offer. The service is like any typical place but I'm not sure if it can be a fast pace when it's not so busy or what. If you order coffee to go, the line does move fast. Now onto the best course, the menu and the food. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the menu but you can view it with a QR code or a physical menu. They have lots of great options from crepes, omelettes, panini's, french toast, etc. If you're gluten free like myself, they do have gluten free bread but it's rather small compared to livegfree bread. I wish they had more gluten free options so we can eat crepes, french toast (I was eyeballing the apple tree one), and panini's. Hopefully they will create a few things that can be gluten free as well as some vegan options so everyone can eat there if they have some type of restriction. The food was delicious and the portions were plenty. I did see a few have a to-go box so you know it will fill you up. I can't speak of their coffee but I heard it is good. We both had water since you get a jug bottle at your table and you can tell it was good water that didn't have a dirty dog taste; if you know what I mean. Parking: Parking is on-street and there is a parking lot on Taylor St that is 25 cents per 15 mins. Not sure of the hours as we did find side street parking. They do take debit/credit cards as well. Geppetto has been one of our favorite breakfast/brunch restaurants in the city, and we were long overdue on trying their new location in Bloomfield! I've ran by it too many times to have not gone here yet! It was delicious, and have a couple of different menu offerings than their other locations. For indented, their original doesn't have any omelettes, which made me inclined to try their sun dried tomato omelette! It was sooo good! My girlfriend got the prosciutto breakfast panini, which they also have at their other location, but it was also delicious! The service is always so friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner! Highly recommend it! read more

This place was so cute! Especially loved the artwork, and the books hanging from the ceiling. The place had a good amount of diners when we came, and they had only one server. That didn't seem like an issue though because our server was very attentive and came by every few minutes to ask us if everything was okay. The food came fast after we ordered too. I ordered the cookie monster crepe with a side of eggs. It had a hefty amount of cookie butter and cookie crumbles on top. Even with the amount of toppings, I loved how it was not too sweet! I didn't get to finish the eggs since the portions were quite large. My husband had the classic french toast with nutella on the side. What a delightful cafe and I don't care that it is a mini-chain, it is awesome. Turkish coffee, delicious pastries, savory omelettes and crepes. Honestly, not a bad meal in sight. I loved my chicken and gruyere crepes while my son enjoyed his omelette. We have dined at the Lawrenceville location in the past. This was a first for their latest spot. Street parking not too difficult. The place was slammed at 11:30 on a Sunday. 45 minute wait advised and we were sat just under 40 minutes. As with the other location, very nice folks working here. The food did take another 25 minutes or so to come out, which wasn't great. Small kitchen. Food was as good as always and their coffee is strong enough. I had the "shot in the dark" which was an espresso shot in their dark roast. Veggie omelet was very good and potatoes always solid. Get there early or expect to be waiting. read more

Loved visiting Gepetto's 2nd location in Bloomfield. This one was set up similarly as the original, but quite roomier. The decor was quirky with hanging books from the ceiling. Same high-quality food and service. I stuck with my favorites, including The Bonjour savory crepe and Nutella Classic sweet crepe. Finished it off with an iced London Fog Tea Latte. Came here for a quick brunch today and had a great experience! I've been to the other location and the Bloomfield one did not disappoint. The cafe had cute decor and cool vibes. Service was good. For drinks, we ordered a cappuccino and an iced coffee. We got the Southwest Sunrise omelette, meat skillet with chicken, and the Cookie Monster crepe. Everything came out promptly and tasted delicious. The only thing is no sauce comes with the southwest sunrise omelette - not sure what makes it southwest style, but our server was very helpful and included a spicy sauce on the side. The front door was open so there were a lot of flies in the building. Our ice had little black spots on them. My eggs had a long black hair on them. Luckily I didn't eat my food yet. I was offered 50% off the item with the hair on it, which came to $6.00. Even though I had to wait to eat until the rest of my food was remade. Which made my crapes cold. Tried the classic breakfast today - scrambled eggs, sausage patties were fine. Toast was insubstantial and "home fries" were deep fried potato cubes. Iced coffee was very good, and generous pour. Overall meh. Nice staff, maybe other options are the way to go. read more
