The decor of this cafe is awesome! It is Pinocchio theme and hanging books that are so cute! I tried their chicken and Gruyère savory crepe and it was delicious! The portions were great for the price too. Our server was attentive and available when needed. Overall, a lovely place for breakfast or lunch!

So glad we had a local spot open for breakfast on a snow day. Staff was super inviting and warm and food was amazing. Prices were reasonable too. Love the Dubai chocolate crepe
6/29/25 Ate List: Ham & Cheese Crepe - 8.8 Geppetto's is amazing. A favorite breakfast spot for us. Now I trying something I usually don't and that was a "savory crepe." I don't usually think those words go together but after this dish, I am surprisingly delighted. The crepe was light and pleasant, not overbearing. The ham, cheese, and Dijon mustard combo was splendid. Would absolutely have again. Was not too filling. Service was very kind, quick, and wonderful as well. Will absolutely be back!
This place is like walking into a story book. It is so cute and almost whimsical. The Dubai crepe was amazing and I would come back for that alone. The staff was really friendly and the service was quick. I definitely recommend this restaurant. They have the best crepes around.
Cute place, coffee was ok. My food looked good, but the eggs were cold! Husband liked his waffle and eggs, but the home fries were also cold. Was busy, but there were empty tables so there was no reason for the cold breakfast

Gepetto Café's second location is just as adorable as their Lawrenceville spot. The atmosphere is warm and cheerful, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Obsessed with their Pistachio Latte. They offer savory and sweet dishes from their Euro- inspired menu! The classic breakfast and thire incredible seasonal authentic dish: the Çılbır (poached egg with yogurt and spices) were insane. The raspberry & goat cheese French toast is a sweet that I will dream about. This location offers authentic Turkish pastries. I highly recommend.
We stopped into this cute little spot on Liberty for breakfast yesterday & were not disappointed! I had previously only had Geppetto's for dinner & was excited to try their breakfast menu. I got the veggie skillet which was filling without being heavy. It had perfectly sautéed mushrooms, peppers, & onions, a lot of melty cheese, & crispy breakfast potatoes. I unfortunately had already had a coffee with me that morning (this breakfast stop was impromptu), but I definitely want to go back to try one of their delicious looking lattes. Geppetto's also has a large tea selection that looked good. The ambiance of the cafe is very whimsical, and service was friendly & fast. I will definitely be back! Fun place for breakfast or brunch. Their mugs of hot tea are generous (I had the lavender with sugar), and the savory crepe with side salad filled me right up. Hubby got the Challah French toast with fresh strawberries. It must have been delicious because he didn't offer me a bite! Server's were all nice. Street parking is free on Sundays.
Huge contender for best brunch in pittsburgh. The inside looks so cute and bright & service is super nice. Omelet's are delicious, warm, savory, and flavorful and the potatoes are crisped perfectly. There's so much on the menu I want to try and I will keep going until I get them all- there's a pistachio waffle that I want.

There were many delicious vegetarian options, but I got the Geppetto Signature as a waffle with a side of homestyle fries! I also ordered a delicious latte which came out in a huge mug, which was the right amount of coffee to have. Great decorations inside and great staff as well!

Good. This was a well run place with a fun theme and generally good food. We ordered takeout, and everything was ready on time and very nicely packaged. Giving the restaurant a call to place an order seems like a better option than ordering online, just based on the differences between their published menu and online ordering site. I didn't spend long inside, but the space seemed inviting and clean. In terms of the food, I was generally happy. We were aiming for relatively easy going brunch food, and they delivered. The house salad was pretty good, though the avocado seemed unnecessary and the goat cheese was a little intense. More cheese than necessary. The veggie omelette was exceptional. Exactly what we were aiming for. The crepes were an interesting option, and the actual crepe portion was well done. The fillings were somewhat restrained, but that's probably intentional. Pairing a salad with the crepe seemed like the right move. All told, this was a good experience. The food was nicely presented. The vegetables were generally fresh. A much better experience than I anticipated going in. read more
I was visiting Pittsburgh and my relatives took me to the Geppetto Cafe for brunch. They'd never been, but it was recommended. I ordered the scrambled eggs and a side of potatoes. They ordered the Chicken Panini sandwich and the Challah French Toast. My scrambled eggs weren't scrambled and weren't good. See attached picture - it's the sorriest looking 'scrambled eggs' I've ever seen. I worked as a short order cook in college ('71-77) and mastered the 'art of cooking eggs'. I offered to show them how to make scrambled....they laughed. My side order of potatoes weren't much better. Overly seasoned with this onion salt that made them somewhat unpalatable. Well, my relatives fared better than I did! The Chicken Panini sandwich was tasty - the chicken was tender and the Gouda cheese made it very tasty. The Classic French Toast, with strawberries was also delicious - slightly crispy exterior and a light and fluffy interior! While my breakfast was, unfortunately, not very good, theirs was. read more
I was pleasantly surprised by this venue. I really enjoyed the cheap date crepe, and the strawberry smoothie was good. The service was great as well. I am not a personal fan of the decor so that made me slightly less of an overall fan but otherwise great! read more

Super cute story book themed ambience created a nice vibe for a perfect brunch. I rarely have a time where I can say confidently that I had to resist licking the plate but I had the Geppetto Signature crepe and my goodness it was delicious! Left the restaurant thinking about coming back delicious. Chai latte was also up to snuff, which can certainly be hit or miss. Service was good and friendly. Food came out hot, no complaints. We've firmly secured our next "where's good in Pittsburgh for brunch" recommendation! read more
What a beautiful gem here in Bloomfield with plenty of seats, spacious, and lots to offer. The service is like any typical place but I'm not sure if it can be a fast pace when it's not so busy or what. If you order coffee to go, the line does move fast. Now onto the best course, the menu and the food. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the menu but you can view it with a QR code or a physical menu. They have lots of great options from crepes, omelettes, panini's, french toast, etc. If you're gluten free like myself, they do have gluten free bread but it's rather small compared to livegfree bread. I wish they had more gluten free options so we can eat crepes, french toast (I was eyeballing the apple tree one), and panini's. Hopefully they will create a few things that can be gluten free as well as some vegan options so everyone can eat there if they have some type of restriction. The food was delicious and the portions were plenty. I did see a few have a to-go box so you know it will fill you up. I can't speak of their coffee but I heard it is good. We both had water since you get a jug bottle at your table and you can tell it was good water that didn't have a dirty dog taste; if you know what I mean. Parking: Parking is on-street and there is a parking lot on Taylor St that is 25 cents per 15 mins. Not sure of the hours as we did find side street parking. They do take debit/credit cards as well. Geppetto has been one of our favorite breakfast/brunch restaurants in the city, and we were long overdue on trying their new location in Bloomfield! I've ran by it too many times to have not gone here yet! It was delicious, and have a couple of different menu offerings than their other locations. For indented, their original doesn't have any omelettes, which made me inclined to try their sun dried tomato omelette! It was sooo good! My girlfriend got the prosciutto breakfast panini, which they also have at their other location, but it was also delicious! The service is always so friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner! Highly recommend it! read more
This place was so cute! Especially loved the artwork, and the books hanging from the ceiling. The place had a good amount of diners when we came, and they had only one server. That didn't seem like an issue though because our server was very attentive and came by every few minutes to ask us if everything was okay. The food came fast after we ordered too. I ordered the cookie monster crepe with a side of eggs. It had a hefty amount of cookie butter and cookie crumbles on top. Even with the amount of toppings, I loved how it was not too sweet! I didn't get to finish the eggs since the portions were quite large. My husband had the classic french toast with nutella on the side. He said they were nice and fluffy, and his portion was large too. read more

First time here. Great menu selection and an even better staff. I was recommended the crepes and I quickly understood why. Both my coffee orders were done very well. Definitely recommended and I will be back. read more
This is a great affordable breakfast/brunch spot. This location is much less crowded than the Butler location but just as tasty, and arguably much roomier and cleaner feeling than the original location as well. We ordered the pistachio crepe which was awesome!! I enjoyed the French toast breakfast sandwich. I was stuffed afterward. Great place for a great price. read more

Loved visiting Gepetto's 2nd location in Bloomfield. This one was set up similarly as the original, but quite roomier. The decor was quirky with hanging books from the ceiling. Same high-quality food and service. I stuck with my favorites, including The Bonjour savory crepe and Nutella Classic sweet crepe. Finished it off with an iced London Fog Tea Latte. Will definitely be a regular here! read more

The crêpes are amazing not to mention their waffles and Panini's. The service is friendly and top notch and you can never go wrong with a place that serves great cup of coffee! The place is whimsically decorated in a Pinocchio like theme, creating an adorable atmosphere. Enjoy! read more

Been here twice 2 weeks apart. Was recommended by a friend who knows the owners. The owners are super sweet and she is a great cook! This is going to be a stable location for breakfast whenever I am around the area! read more
