Look, you should visit Haven Cafe just to appreciate the bird of paradise wallpaper in its boldly painted context. You could also interact with their lovely staff and smile wryly at their poster collection. But sure, if you're hungry or thirsty, I guess you could do worse than to sample the excellent wares on their menu. We enjoyed the Italian wedding soup, a caprese salad, berries with yogurt, and a chunk of coffee cake. The gluten-free brownies looked tempting but turned out to be on the dry side. Regardless, we often need a place to eat a late lunch on a Sunday, so we're happy to snag one of the 2 tables indoors, or it looks like there may be some outside when the weather is warmer. Gender-neutral restroom. Metered street parking 1/2 block away.

Friendly neighborhood coffee spot! I came in on their first Friday open and was met with a warm welcome. The staff was bubbly and full of excitement for their pastries, food, and coffee! I had a tea, as well as some lunch food and some pastries. Everything was delicious! My friends especially enjoyed the homemade tiramisu I brought them - yum! I appreciate the fun Italian treats, like Sfogliatella. Can't wait to stop in again and again!

Hot, good coffee and a friendly and efficient staff. Nice menu. Had a pain au chocolat. It did smell fishy because of the lobster bisque

Gluten-free and vegetarian foods and decaf and sugar-free beverages are available. Customers may dine in or get takeout. My husband and I have been customers here twice. Both times the employees made very courteous conversation with us, and they promptly took our order and payment and brought over our foods and drinks. Here are my reviews for what we ate: Berries & Cream Crepe - 4 stars - This gluten-free crepe contained cream cheese, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and whipped cream. It looked beautiful and tasted very good. Nutella & Fruit Crepe - 5 stars - This gluten-free crepe contained Nutella and slices of strawberries and bananas. I loved the flavors of the Nutella and fruits. Egg-Bacon-Cheese Breakfast Sandwich - 5 stars - My husband enjoys this sandwich so much that he ordered it during both visits. Turkey-Bacon-Swiss Wrap - 5 stars - This wrap contained a good amount of turkey, lettuce, and Swiss cheese, and I liked the raspberry-walnut dressing on the side. Raspberry-Passionfruit hot tea - 5 stars Chai Latte - 5 stars - This hot tea had the perfect balance of black tea, spices, honey, and milk. It is one of my favorite drinks anywhere. Handcrafted Soda - 4.5 stars - Seltzer sodas come in many different flavors, and we went with cherry, pomegranate, and apple. Mango Smoothie - 5 stars - Smoothies are available in a few flavors, and this mango one with whipped cream tasted excellent.

I ordered the ham , egg and cheese crepe. The attention to details shined. The touch of bechamel on top with the ham garnish hinted to the treasures hidden inside. Smoky rich and bountiful. My wife ordered the berries and cream crepe again dressed to entice the dinner . Sweet but very well balanced.

The spot also has savory corn dogs. I got one with cheese and potatoes, and it was Yum. Perfectly fried and on a stick and it comes packaged in a little box which is very cute.. They also have bubble tea one of my favorite beverages on the planet and this place does the bubbles OK though my drink could've had a few more bubbles. They also sell some little cutie, things like keychains and charms for your crocs. The corn dogs are about seven dollars but they are worth it and the donuts are three or four dollars but also worth it.. Service was very friendly and everything about this place is so cute and yummy. There is meter parking on the street and they're doing some construction, but I found a spot

My husband and I ate here one time. A small amount of indoor seating was available. The employees took many minutes to even say hello to us. Their service improved after another customer noticed my taking photos and asked if they were for social media and reviews. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Mochi donuts - 4.5 stars - I ordered three donuts, one Black Chocolate, one Strawberry, and one Pineapple. I thought that they tasted very rich and good. Crispy Ramen Corn Dog - 3 stars - I ordered a corn dog with half sausage and half mozzarella and a side of spicy mayo. The sausage and mozzarella tasted savory, and the ramen and powdered sugar tasted sweet. My husband and I thought that it was OK overall. Brown-Sugar Bubble Tea - 4.5 stars - My husband chose this flavor of tea, and it was his favorite thing here. The total price was $23 plus tax and tip.
