This bakery is located in what appears to be a small development of townhomes with a handful of storefronts. The inside has a large ordering area with plenty of baked goods displayed behind glass, along with an equally spacious seating area. They also had a number of card games available, and my wife and I enjoyed playing one with our 4.5-year-old twins. On this morning I decided to go with an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte while my wife chose an iced pistachio latte. My daughter picked out a sprinkle sugar cookie, my son chose a blueberry Pop-Tart, and my wife and I split a crème brûlée-filled croissant. I'll start with the baked goods, which were excellent. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and you could clearly see the lamination throughout it. The filling reminded me of a cream puff with its rich, creamy texture and flavor. To complete the crème brûlée theme, it had large pieces of caramelized sugar on top that added a satisfying crunch and really made the pastry live up to its name. My son's blueberry Pop-Tart also had a great flavor with plenty of blueberry filling inside, and my daughter loved her sprinkle sugar cookie. As far as the baked goods were concerned, they were easily five stars. The coffee was good, although it didn't quite reach the same level as the pastries. My latte had a nice balance between the brown sugar and cinnamon syrup and the espresso. Thankfully the coffee wasn't overpowered by the flavoring, and while it was certainly enjoyable, it wasn't quite as memorable as the baked goods. My wife also enjoyed her latte, especially the pistachio flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My family loved the baked goods, and we all thought the coffee was good as well.

I offered to show them how to make scrambled....they laughed. My side order of potatoes weren't much better. Overly seasoned with this onion salt that made them somewhat unpalatable. Well, my relatives fared better than I did! The Chicken Panini sandwich was tasty - the chicken was tender and the Gouda cheese made it very tasty. Fruit Tea Waffle - 5 stars - A waffle was topped with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar. The fruits were very fresh, abundant, and sweet. On the side was whipped cream. They had somebody bussing the tables who was very attentive and made sure I always had hot water for my tea and checked on us frequently. The second time I came, I came with my husband. He ordered the French toast, which was phenomenal, and again I had the scones and tea. This scone was possibly a cherry almond and was much better than the vanilla. The café gets very crowded and it can be a struggle to find a seat, but tables do turn over quickly. The grounds are beautiful to walk around before or after your meal. I will be returning in a couple weeks, and I'm excited to stop by the café for lunch again.
