These are made fresh and taste amazing. My only complaint is the price, but it's Siesta Key, so not much you can do about that. Again, they are delicious and open late. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. read more

Donuts themselves are the perfect level of sweetness (not too) and texture (just a bit of crunch). The toppings and stuff are fun too...we tried 5 of them. The cannoli was the least favorite (the topping tasted nothing like cannoli cream) but the rest were very good. Next time I'll just get a bag of the powdered or cinnamon sugar ones...the donuts really don't need anything else! read more

We tried the Apple, peanut & chocolate, glazed, and cinnamon sugar. We give them all 5 stars. However I am a lemonade connoisseur and I have to give the lemonade 2 stars. I get lemonade every place that has fresh. This defiantly tasted from a powdered mix. I don't mind paying $5 for a large glass of fresh squeezed but not for a mix. If it hadn't been for the lemonade it would have been definitely 5 stars. So if you have a hankering for something sweet give them a try. read more

Tried Meaney's Mini Donuts in Lido Key which is north of Siesta Key as they just opened last week. We loved all of the choices we tried, the french toast donuts were delicious as well as the coconut chocolate and cinnamon. Great service with a smile and if ever back in that area, will stop by again. Good coffee too! Recommend highly. read more

I overheard some kids talking about how Meany's has the best donut you will ever eat and after trying them on my way out of Siesta Key I can't disagree. I don't eat tons of donuts and if I do, it's a co-worker bringing in a dozen of donuts from Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme. Who knows how long those are sitting around. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake donuts. Six bite-sized donuts come in an order and they were phenomenal. The donuts were nice and warm and had a perfect cream cheese topping that complimented the donut in a sweet and savory way. The next time I'm within 20 miles of this place I will go out of out of my way to make sure I get some donuts from here. Meany's is literally a shack, so the lines can get very long. Plan your trip accordingly and try to hit them up first thing in the morning when everyone is still asleep. read more

They're like little funnel cakes. Not too bad of a price. 6 mini donuts for $2 or so. Always fresh and never soggy. Super surprised Disney world doesn't have anything like this. Love how it's open all day, I'm always wanting donuts when the donut shops are closed and a good way for a sweet fix after lunch or dinner. read more

This is honestly what I miss most about Florida since I've moved. Meaney's is AWESOME. Super cheap and super delicious. The donuts never disappoint. Even though I've been dozens and dozens of times, I always made the mistake of thinking I could stomach more than I could . . . those little guys are surprisingly filling, a half dozen will do the job. My absolute favorite donuts are the peanut butter chocolate. A skewer of tiny donuts drizzled in melty chocolate and peanut butter? C'mon people, what more could you want. They have a tiny fryer in the front window so you can watch them make the donuts right in front of you. The majority of the time my friends and I went, we were given hot, fresh donuts. Really friendly staff, really great donuts. After you're done binging donuts, sleep that food coma away on the beach down the block :) read more

Meaney's is like the favorite fried fair food of Siesta Key. You can order your fried mini donuts in sets of six and have layer bavarian creme, chocolate, peanut butter, or apple pie on top. It's a splurge no doubt, but I imagine if you're near Meaney's, then you're probably on vacation...and vacation means you can live a little and order some mini donuts with bavarian creme. read more

You MUST have when you're within the area! The mini donuts are still hot/warm when they hand you that lil' white bag filled with either cinnamon or powered sugar! It is made fresh... a good bite and cake-like in the inside. Soooo addicting we went back four times while on vacation! Beach body? who cares!! Meaney's is totally worth it. The staff is also friendly, patient and nice =) I miss you already Meaney's! read more

This place was such a kick and the mini donuts was absolutely fresh and delightful! We had just the standard cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar treats and we very pleased. We also had super sinful vanilla shakes. Highly recommended! The counter dude was very friendly in spite of the long line of patrons. Everyone was well behaved too! read more

SOOO delicous and very inexpensive. Fresh, warm bitesize goodness at your fingertips in Siesta Key. We come at night after dinner just for these and the kids love them. You can choose donuts with powdered sugar, glazed, sprinkles, cinnamon sugar or plain. They serve them 6 on a stick but that's good for one person (or two if talking about little kids). It's a tiny little stand alone shop and you see the donut machine making the donuts right there from the window. LOVE IT! read more

Fantastic. I am not a first-timer to mini donuts but these are for sure the best I've had. We tried the bavarian cream and the cinnamon sugar and although both were delicious I probably liked the cinnamon sugar just a tad more. Prices are super reasonable and they have so many different flavors that it is fun to share and sample different kinds. Haven't tried the coffee but I have no doubt its good. Go here while you are in Siesta Key. read more

These mini donuts are amazing. There are several flavor to choose from. The cheapest are the cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar which you can buy in 6 or more (the more you buy the better the deal). There are also some specialty flavors, we love the Bavarian creme and peanut butter cup! These are a little more expensive. The donuts are made fresh right in front of you while you wait at the stand (there's no seating, just wait in line) but you can take your donuts across the street to the gazebo to enjoy. Parking is tight and the line gets long on weekends, pay attention to signs! There are a couple 15 min spots in front of the sea shanty next door if you can snag them. Worth it for these. read more

Do you like FUNNEL CAKE?! I DO!!! The original mini donuts are just like funnel cake, but in mini-donut form! And the price is right at 6 for $2.50 or 12 for $3.50 [my waist line said NO to the dozen and we just got the 6 to share] There are some other more involved toppings like peanut butter and chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate and coconut, but the original donuts are just perfect and dusted with powdered sugar... like funnel cake, but smaller, cuter, and easier to eat. They also serve ice cream and hotdogs and such. Give this cute little place a try! read more

Stopped by for coffee three times and finally caved in and bought some mini donuts. They were delicious. I had the peanut butter and chocolate ones. Three of my favorite things in one small box! The coffee was very good also. The staff is friendly and efficient. There is always a line but it moves very quickly so don't worry. Nice little treat that is not crazy expensive. Should definitely try it. read more

The front entrance of the bar is gated off, which keeps things quieter and more relaxed. It's a great little escape from the busier street vibe.
