We're not fully unpacked, but we've only found one small item that broke, but it was nothing valuable. I agree with other reviews stating that the movers were slow--The total time after removing breaks (10.75 hours) was 30% more than the upper end of the original quote (6-8 hours). I appreciate that they were careful with our belongings and were genuinely working hard, but a little bit more realism with the quote would have been helpful. So why am I rating this three stars? The team took a nearly two hour long lunch break. I'm not against breaks for workers, but this was absurdly long. It pushed our move much later into the night. We weren't charged for this time, but I would have appreciated better communication about how the team takes breaks. I had to call the office to figure out was going on! The office told me that the crew would reach out to me directly with when they would be back. (They did not). I think it would also be useful for the office to let potential customers know how much time to factor in for breaks and that they won't be charged for them.

These three are like modern day Spartans: strong, precise, efficient and incredibly patient. They immediately earned my complete trust. I was moving from a two-bedroom apartment (Dublin, CA to Danville, CA) filled with fragile furniture, glass pieces, mirrors, artwork, and a massive 9 foot tall, extremely heavy mirror. I was moving things from a 10x10 storage unit into a 1 bedroom apartment about an hour and a half away, with 1 stop to pick up a couch along the way. Total time took about 5.5 hours. On the other hand, things got weird when it was time to pay. I didn't appreciate feeling pressured when they tried to tell me that a 30% tip was the standard. I gave them 20%, which I felt was a good tip and standard for a good job. I was also pressured into writing both a Yelp and Google review, leaving them 5 stars as they hovered over me. I used A 2 B moving Company in April they were very efficient moving my things to my new place…read more I paid them and they were on their way To my surprise, I checked my account in June and they took another payment out of $1350.50 without my consent . This was almost 2 months later had I not checked my account they would have had the payment and I would have lost out on a large amount of money. I even referred this company to a few of my friends and they decided to go another way.... Good thing! I will NEVER REFER anyone to A2B moving company or use them again and if you're moving really research the company before you use. The reason I am making this review is because when I talked to the owner she wasn't sympathetic she said to me it was a very minor mistake.
