I needed a local move over 33 miles distance to transport this pieces of furniture: 1) a king size IKEA bed 2) a hutch, 2 parts top+bottom , massive oak 3) another hutch 2 parts 4) a small recliner and a 2 seat recliner 5) a 3-burner BBQ 6) a outdoor storage box 7) 2 Malm drawer chests 8) 2 prepacked wardrobe boxes We disassembled the bed and wrapped all the parts ourselves. All other furniture was empty, ready to wrap and load. the 2 movers Sam and Mostafa showed up on time (as announced between 9-10). The truck showed a Logo of "Finch Movers" (maybe a rented truck, or a subcontractor?? I did not see a logo or address on the cash invoice). Both movers were friendly and spoke a good english. The wrapping work for the sensitive furniture was done accurately but lacked a bit of efficiency. Much to our dismay one piece sustained a chip at the bottom that was exposed. I did not bother to dispute this as the insurance was set for 60cent per pound- and what can you really do about a chipped corner? We received 4 Wardrobe boxes to fill. I suggest to replace those boxes, they have seen better days, we patched one up to make it work. The loading was done at 1:25pm. We advised the driver the best route, the GPS route points you through a road that does not allow commercial trucks over 3.5 tons, and we drove ahead. The Truck arrived little before 3pm, and unloading went quick, including the furniture placement in the prepared spaces. It is not clear to me how you can spend over 1:15h driving 33 miles in the early afternoon- especially since the drive time is charges double... I actually planned to pay by credit card, which required some back and forth between driver and office. They suggested to use Zelle for the discounted cash rate- we finally drove to an ATM and paid cash. We have moved several times, twice over the Atlantic- so we were no newbies. My summary is: Plan ahead and get multiple quotes, avoid an hourly charge. Packing takes the longest, followed by loading... Yelp listed 129$ hourly, the quote came with 149$ for cash and 159$ for credit card payment. My total was 1143$, for all the components and fuel charge (of which I have been informed beforehand). Good luck with your moves...!

When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! All the horror stories I heard from friends who have moved before and I was so worried about - not the case with this team! Highly recommend!

The whole day, in and out, in the truck and out of the truck, lifting this, lifting that. I thought it was an amazing watching it all unfold. This moving company deserves a good rating and a good recommendation. Thanks for your competency and good service. Oh, and be nice and at least provide some water for these hard workers. What does it cost, like $10-15? A little nice gesture goes a long way. My boyfriend just stocked up on drinks from Costco and whatever they didn't drink, we kept! We saved a ton of money, too! Thank you again!

At one point, all 3 men would be going in the elevator together or stand by the truck when 1 of them is clearly not doing anything. I was told the additional hour would be $160 each hour, so I finally talked to the guys and asked them to be more efficient. They argued a little but obviously knew exactly what I was talking about. They became more efficient and conscientious after our talk. However, the last hour, 1 guy was no longer helping. He stood on the truck and folded blankets slowly. I had to ask him to lift things with me, so that I can get him involved. Honestly for $160 per hour, this was not worth 3 men. I paid for an extra hour for sure because of the standing around. Very disappointed and do not get 3 men, 2 will suffice.

We talked to a couple of different moving companies to compare rates and to see if they were available for the day that we wanted to move. The same night that we contacted them, they were ready to schedule a walk through for the estimated price the following day. We got our estimate and the move was scheduled for the next day. The price was actually astonishing! They gave us the best price out of the four companies that we had contacted; it was literally a fraction of what other people wanted to charge. Pros: -Quick response time via Yelp and telephone -Super friendly staff that made our move very pleasant, felt like my friends were helping me move -Great pricing for great work -Everything wrapped and transported with care -Very VERY accommodating, we had some extra stuff that needed to be moved and they took care of it for us no problem -Easy scheduling, we literally scheduled our move the the day after they came to give us an estimate Cons: NONE I really really liked that they kept us updated throughout the whole process. Example : Letting is know when they were headed towards us, the amount of time left until arrival and mostly just giving us peace of mind that we won't be left hanging. I want to give Trevon and his team all of my gratitude. About an hour into the process, Jacob advised to to start figuring out what to prioritize and what to leave behind as the truck was too small. Several hours later Jacob said it was "partially" his fault. Yes, he said partially, avoiding full blame since it was part of his scheme. This is the game most movers play to extort more money from you. Cut to: We had air tags in some of the boxes on both trucks. With that information in addition to talking to the movers when they arrived, we learned they stopped in Treasure Island and Citrus Heights to take everything out of both trucks and put everything of ours into a huge semi with three other families. Eddie was my private personal customer representative from being to end. I was even able to book Santiago come out to my unit and do an in-person video estimate. He was extremely professional, thanks Santiago! Eddie and Santiago were absolutely amazing! My 3 man crew was exceptional and professional! These guys are super good at their job! They are the hardest and most careful working crew I've ever seen in my life! I am a very considerate, professional and fair business woman. Based on the original estimate of 5 to 6 hours for the job I had pre-envelopes made for all three of the workers with $50 per hour as a tip so that was an additional $150. Now,I must be honest and I did text Eddie when I noticed another hidden charge on my bill for materials $90.00, I was told tape and wrapping was included! Plus, I had all my own boxes. But, Eddie never replied back to my surprise based on the quick response he would give me before booking them for the job! That made me feel like: "We are done with the job and got paid, so we don't need to answer any of your questions any more"! I also, wanted to tell Eddie that there were 2 long picture frames(holding 21-4x7 photos) cracked/damaged and they cost me $100.00. My original estimate was around 5 to 6 hours it took them 8 hours with a grand total of $1,837.76 I'm here right now that would add the $90 hidden fee of materials and subtract $100 of a down payment deposit. Plus, I gave all three workers $50 tips individually! So, that was an additional $150.00, with a grand total $1,987.97 so, basically $2K all day! I also provided a case of ice water bottles for the workers. Me and my son assisted/helped packing up things too! My son was my translator because one could not speak English and the other one spoke or understood very little English and the third one could speak English very well! So, thank God my son was there and he speaks Spanish it's his 2nd language. So, I really wasn't in a hurry to post this review! But hopefully, they will reach out to me once they read this and make things right! Plus, I was extreamly sick and busy after they moved me! I never really got around to leaving a review. Even with that small negative information that I have to include in this review I would call them in a heartbeat to move me again:-))))! I really liked them all and at the end of the day they did an outstanding job! Might need you again soon LOL! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AT SF BAY AREA MOVING!
