TLDR: I told the owner of the nail spa, Jenny, that my mother waited one hour for her pedicure. Jenny's response is "so what?". I give this two stars instead of one because I feel for the actual nail professionals who were doing our nails and they did a fairly good job. However, the ownership of this nail spa is horrendous and the entire function of the nail spa is an operations disaster. Jenny, the manager, is a nightmare. My mother and I had a manicure and pedicure appointment at 2 PM. We show up at 1:55 and every nail professional is busy, half way through doing someone's nails or toes. We know there is no way we get our appointment on time yet the manager, Jenny, asks us to start picking our colors. Two minutes later two other women walk in who have manicures and pedicures. At 2:25 my mother and I are seated for our pedicures and mine starts immediately. Hers does not begin until 3 PM. What's crazier than this is that a woman who is a regular at the nail salon walks in at 3 and is seen right away by the manager, Jenny, leaving my mother still without a nail technician, and the two other woman with appointments without a nail technician. The owner is nasty and does not care about anyone but the biweekly customers. The regular customers also get their own nail supplies nicely tucked away in a corner of the wall (see below) whereas anyone who visits less than once a month like us gets dirty towels. As a working person-as a person and potential future repeat customer, I expect people to operate a business efficiently and with some decency. Some consideration for their clients. This is NOT the place if you expect to be treated with respect or expect a walk-in appointment. Granted, I was a walk- in and am told to pick a color and that they will see me. Only, to be shoved aside for other clients without being told I would have to wait 40 minutes to be seen. At first I waited 10-15, but then it was too late to even go elsewhere. Horrible service. Horrible. No respect. None. A man sits in the front - lazes around. Acts as if it's a sweat shop. He didn't even get up once to make a call or help the ladies cleanup or prep for the next client. The owner and staff of this small neighborhood spa do a very good job and should be thanked for serving their customers - including ungrateful, more-money-than-brains clients who left negative reviews here. The woman owner and all-woman staff performed non-socially distant jobs (touching customers' hands, feet, etc) long before Covid vaccines were available and when doing that work was medically risky to the employees and their families. Shame on the self-centered, ungrateful reviewers incapable of appreciating the risks these beauticians took to serve you. And thank goodness for down-to-earth working people nationwide who kept working without complaint during Covid despite the risks and the occasional ignorant, petty customer. This salon is absolutely awful. I had the worst waxing experience of my entire life (15+ years of waxing). Wendy butchered me with wax that was not warm enough and she left at least half of my hair behind, with a lot of wax to boot. It was painful, ineffective, and an all around terrible experience. Wendy should not be allowed to wax people as she clearly has no idea what she is doing in that department. My only regret is that I didn't refuse to pay. STEER CLEAR. read more

This nail salon is a disaster if you are looking for anything unique or requiring artistic talent. If you are looking for something basic then they are a safe bet but if you are looking for nail art- I would search elsewhere. I have also noticed that my manicures and pedicures (despite going for gel) never last as long as other places. The salon is clean and I do think the staff (for the most part) makes an effort to make it an enjoyable experience-- it just so happens that they have fallen short of that the last few times I have visited. read more

As a new resident of Great Falls, I had a basic manicure/pedicure last Friday. Sandra was my nail person, and I was grossly disappointed and will not return. Sandra was late to my appointment b/c she ate her lunch screeching in conversations across the salon in Vietnamese (I think). 20 minutes late, she arrives at my pedicure chair and proceeds to begin without recognizing that a human being was attached to the feet she attacked. I thought perhaps Sandra was racing against the clock, her pace so fast I feared a nick or cut would send me to the ER. I felt my body was objectified as she man handled my feet filing, cutting, scrapinig furiously at break neck speed. The screeching in Vietnamese across the room between 2 other nail "technicians" continued throughout the 45 minutes I endured in the chairs. They yucked it up laughing, etc, and when they returned to their "clients," the laughter stopped. I did NOT observe ANY sterilization tools used with any of the implements Sandra used. Once, she appeared dissatisified with the scissors she had, and she opened a drawer and found another pair. NO STERILIZATION. I've never had a basic manicure/pedicure in 45 minutes flat, door to door. Never again. read more

I have been going to this salon for about 17 years. I know most of the employees very well. Sometimes there may be a little bit of a wait, if you do make an appointment. If you let them know ahead of time that you need to stay on time, then there usually is not a problem. I've been going to McLean Nails for years!! Spa pedi with extra massage is a favorite. My toes always look amazing and it lasts... I tend to go every two weeks but it lasts longer. I've seen several different gals (all great) but I do usually request. They've always been extraordinarily clean. The COVID precautions are notable and extensive and everyone wears a mask, there is plenty of spacing and there are plexiglass barriers for manicures. read more

There were 4 women working and only 3 were with clients. I came in and was asked what I wanted to get done. I told them a pedicure. They said please come back tomorrow. I told them I was here out of convenience and was only wishing to get seen today. They were not accommodating at all and told me they couldn't take me but didn't tell me why. I decided to check out this place for basic information while I was waiting for tire repair at the gas station across the street. There was no plan to do anything that day, but they were so convincing and friendly...I went for it. I had my very first Pedicure and eyebrow wax. The Pedicure was very relaxing, they give you a leg massage with some type of bath salts. They do a soak, rinse and repeat method before cutting the nails and sloughing away calluses. Afterwards I had my toe nails painted. We had to rush through the eyebrow wax but that was my fault. All in all it was a decent price, pleasant, and relaxing experience! read more

I was nervous as I had gone to the same manicurist for 20 years, and was sure no one else could match her expertise, but I was wrong. MN&S pedicures are the most thorough and relaxing I have ever experienced, with a long massage for weary legs. Their manicures are gorgeous and long lasting. Look... I get it. It's normal for spa techs to be talking in their native language. It's another thing for them to be blatantly rude when you ask a question. For example, I had a question about the cost of a specific service. Instead of responding, she clearly said something in Vietnamese to her coworker who both started talking about me. She was annoyed when I told her that I would want the basic service and not the upgrade. She started yelling something in Vietnamese again to which I just decided to leave. Upon charging me, she said they have a minimum credit charge of $15. There is no sign indicating this anywhere. She pointed to an atm machine somewhere in the shopping complex.
