Rather than the standard, massage table type set up, they have reclining, massaging chairs. They also provide you with a warm blanket and it helps create a relaxing environment. Before starting the service, they have you wash your lashes at their sink station. I can appreciate this because over the years, I've learned over the years, it is super important to have clean, residue free, lashes to ensure you get the most of your lash fill. Depending on your lash tech, depends on if they clean your lashes prior to starting the fill. I do understand it's a rather difficult task to clean someone's eyes will they lay down as there is no real efficient way to clean the lashes without getting water all over the clients face. Nonetheless, I'm sad there isn't a similar lash bar like this one where I live in Austin. I definitely plan to return anytime I am back home visiting.

I've had my appointment be rescheduled from 8 Am on a Saturday to 10 to 10:30 Am to then rescheduled for 8 Am the following Sunday, all on the count of Bella apparently having issues with her son's flight. It's 8:42 Am and I'm here still waiting for Bella to arrive, apparently from the airport. I'm trying to be patient and keep an open mind as life can happen but it's not a good look on the business for the owner to ask to reschedule multiple times within 24 hours and still be running late to the appointment. The deposit is non refundable hence why I'm here. I very much doubt I'll be getting any discount or price reduction on today's service but I know I'll never recommend this place anymore for lashes. Monday's Update: I got my lashes done, but I was right as Bella went ahead and charged my card on file anyways for the remainder of the service despite cancelling and rescheduling all on her account. I've filed a dispute with my bank to see about the merchant refunding me the $82.50 as it didn't feel appropriate given this visit's circumstances with her lack of punctuality. I'm also not pleased with how the lashes look since I asked for a more natural, wispy look and she went with a more dramatic look. Regardless if I get my money back or not, and despite the compliments I get on the lashes, I will not be recommending this place moving forward.

I saw on my receipt the service I paid for was labeled as Cavitation Machine, not Massage. Although I could have sworn I saw a massage therapist certificate on Sandra's well, but the photos I am now looking at are to blurred to read when blown up on my phone. The $28 surcharge fees is really rubbing me the wrong way. Getting that back is now on my mind. I don't wish to cause a problem Sandra and her business, but this is my first time ever (and I am thinking about how Chris Jericho says Ever) been charged a $14 surcharge on my debit card. Still, aside from this one thing, I am satisfied with the way my 90 minutes went at Him/Her Spa. I give this whole experience four Stars. Update: 3/24/25 I spoke with Sandra De La Vega about the two 7% surcharge added on to my bills and the problem has been resolved. I appreciate how this was handled by her. I will be stopping by to get the problem fixed later on in the week. I now feel better about give this business the 5 stars it deserves. Sandra De La Vega said the best way to avoid any surcharge is to pay in cash. As for tips, they can go into the grey trays on the table in the rooms. I learned after my session with Sandra, she will not be doing another 90 with anyone. Only 1 hour or less. I am not sure if this rule applies to the other therapists, so you will have to find out on your own. Hope this information helps.

I never received a call and when I went in for my appointment the facial person not only didn't have me on the schedule but wasn't anywhere in town. I'm a very understanding person but there was no cares given. Trying to come here as a first time customer, when this was recommended by a friend. I am very disappointed. They did offer to reschedule, but there was no hey let's give you five dollars off to make up for the inconvenience of taking time off work to come in to do this or any thing like that.

As I explained multiple times, I am very aware of the contraindications associated with brow lamination services and did not use any acids, retinoids, or other products that would have compromised my skin before or after my appointment. What I find concerning is that your conclusion appears to be based on speculation rather than any medical evaluation. The fact remains that I developed redness, irritation, and scabbing in the exact areas where the chemical products were applied within 24 hours of the service. Delayed skin reactions following cosmetic chemical treatments are well documented and do not need to be visible immediately after a procedure to be related to it. I also find it disappointing that throughout this process the focus has been on defending the service and assigning fault to the client rather than acknowledging that adverse reactions can occur even when procedures are performed by experienced professionals. At this point, I am not interested in a redo of the service. My concern is not the appearance of my brows, but the reaction that occurred and the lack of accountability shown in response to it. Given my experience, I do not feel comfortable returning to your studio in the future.

This was not my first lip tattoo, but it was far more pleasant than the other NOVA place I went to (where a touch up was more expensive than a lip tattoo with Paola). Paola reached out to me personally, scheduled a face-to-face discussion, responded to my texts asap, and gave me advice on how to reduce inflammation (that I had not received at the other place). She redesigned my lips and do a phenomenal job! it's lasted well. Do not be concerned about their location or office space. I have been to fancier tattoo studios and modern-looking medspas with more staff and amenities but they have not been able to rival the skill and expertise of Suzana and Paola at Synergy Beauty.

When I expressed concerns about the result, instead of addressing them professionally, the artist responded with rude and dismissive comments and even implied that the problem was with me as a client. The work presented on social media appears much better than the actual results I received, which feels misleading to potential clients. Cosmetic procedures require trust, professionalism, and respectful communication with clients. Unfortunately, my experience here did not reflect any of those standards. I would strongly encourage others to do thorough research before choosing this artist. I am posting my picture and pictures from his instagram just to see what his real experience is .

I just recently got my eyebrows microbladed by Zola and she did such an amazing job! I feel so much more confident in myself and in my on fleek brows! I love that Zola took the time to listen to my questions and walk me through the entire process. She also made sure that my eyebrows were fitting for my face shape and even. I honestly feel like my face looks so much more softer and different in the best way possible because of my new brows. Not only is Zola amazing at microblading, but she is super welcoming, understanding, and sweet. She helps make the environment fun, homey, and comfortable! Plus the place is decorated so beautifully I kinda want Zola to decorate my house too!! I will definitely be going to Zola for all of my beauty needs in the future! If I could give Zola Nyam more than 5 stars I would. I went to her for a lash lift and tint. She was amazing and I loved my lashes after it. I have had my eyelashes done before, many times, and I've never had this issue because it was 1:1. Irritated, disappointed, and sad- hope they grow back again! I really wish, they were honest and just told me from the start that it was going to be 2:1 and not 1:1.
