Lauren consistently demonstrates authenticity and approachability. I have visited her studio on multiple occasions for eyebrow tattooing, with the most recent being in early 2021. My eyebrows have maintained their appearance for nearly three years, and the touch-up was primarily to achieve a darker, more defined look. The appointment was conducted efficiently, and her new office is both aesthetically pleasing and immaculate. As a professional, Lauren is genuinely dedicated to assisting others. She exhibits not only passion for her work but also meticulous attention to detail and exceptional talent. For those who may have initial reservations, I would recommend scheduling a consultation with her. It is highly probable that you will schedule a future appointment before departing. Although the cost may be considered steep by some, I can attest that this service has spared me from purchasing numerous eyebrow pencils and has significantly reduced my consumption of makeup wipes. Moreover, my eyebrows are consistently well-groomed, regardless of external factors such as perspiration or inclement weather. I feel extremely fortunate to have encountered Lauren and can confidently assert that any service she provides will be transformative. I am now considering permanent eyeliner and lip tattooing. I highly recommend Inner Beauty Ink. read more

Lauren is so kind, caring, patient, professional, and most importantly, GENTLE! As with anyone nervous to a new experience, Lauren answered any and all questions that I had. She was extremely precise with before care (measuring, prepping, and making you feel comfortable), and took her time with every single detail/step. She would walk me through the steps so I understood what she was doing as she moved through the process. Lauren is very careful and meticulous with color matching to ensure that it is not too dark and would blend in beautifully. She ensures that you are equipped with the appropriate instructions for after care, as well. I'm already super excited to have fuller, more defined brows and can't wait to see them fully healed. I also wanted to add that when I was learning and researching about microbladding, I wanted to ensure that I chose someone that was very passionate about their work and didn't take shortcuts to make quick money. I'm only saying this because I have seen some work of others, that did not have such desirable outcomes. They unfortunately chose to go another route by saving through Groupon or other discounts. Lauren takes extreme pride in her work and you can tell by all of her previous clients and their outcomes. I highly recommend Lauren! You won't regret your decisions!! :) read more

Lauren is the BEST at what she does. I had several clients who all went to her for microblading so I was able to see firsthand their results even a year or two after they were done. My brows were thinning and I was so tired of penciling them in. I swore I would never do microblading but after seeing so many ladies who looked amazing, I am SO glad I did this. They always look fabulous and no more penciling or powdering. Her color matching of natural hair is on point. Thankful for Lauren and her talent! Thinking of doing lips next! read more

I had my brows first done by Amy about two years ago and they completely transformed my look! I…read morewalked in to her super clean and cute office with barely any brows at all. They were super thin to begin with, and with age they had started to thin out even more. They were so thin, they disappeared in photos . Anyways, she helped me pick out color that would complement my ever changing hair color. The process it self isn't completely painless. She uses numbing creams on your brows so it is a lot less painful than getting a tattoo, but you do still feel the tools slightly on your skin. (A little) pain is beauty, right? Keep in mind your skin and your skin care routine can really impact how long it will take your brows to fade. You should expect to come in once a year for an annual touch up. Immediately after after a visit you'll need to avoid getting water on your brows for a day, and then avoid being in direct sunlight and sweating (I avoided taking cardio) for about a week for the ink to set. This is the same with tattoos (which I have a few of so I was prepared for this). Your brows will look darker than expected due to scabbing but your real brows will be revealed by the end of the week! One last thing to be prepared for: funny looks from people when your skin starts to heal and peel One patch of skin on my right brow which for no good reason just does not hold ink. It fades super quick compared to the rest which stays and fades consistently over a year, but this one spot just refuses to keep ink! Amy has been super helpful and nice in doing extra sessions to try going over that spot a bit extra. It's definitely easy enough to fill in this one spot with makeup but wanted to mention since Amy has done everything to to try to help it, but it's clearly an issue with that patch of skin. For you people who hate calling to make appointments, you can schedule online and even text her direct (I've sent photos of my brows this way) and she's super quick (within 24 hours) in responding!

Sometime in the last 3-4 years, my eyebrow hair has either slowed in growth or stopped altogether…read more I've been filling them in with eyeshadow or using those brow pens that draw a few thin lines at a time. I was chicken about this process because I wasn't sure about whether I could tolerate the pain or, even worse, I'd end up looking like Groucho Marx. I am not about the trendy, strong eyebrow game. I had been searching through Yelp and Facebook to see what reputable places offered microblading and I was about to head to Baltimore until I read all the reviews for Amy. And since location is also important, it helped that Microblading Magic & More was in Fairfax. Amy listens to your concerns and she definitely knows what she's doing. She makes herself available for any questions and she really knew what I wanted. She also told me exactly how my brows would heal, so I didn't freak out too too much. Amy knew that I didn't want strong brows, so I chose the shade lighter than black, which was maybe a brownish gray. During the healing process, your brows are pretty dark, and I actually grew to love the 'bolder' brows; so when I go back for my six week refresh, I'm choosing 'to go black.' I'm super happy that I took the plunge and got my eyebrows done. I had my misgivings, but beauty is pain right? If you're in the market for semi-permanent eyebrows, Amy of Microblading Magic is the real deal.
