My experience with Perfect Eyebrows has been nothing but disappointing and my frustration only grew worse with each visit and interaction with the business. Lash technician named Babina was polite, but obviously inexperienced... which she stated AFTER she provided me the $100 service. May 30th was my first visit, below you can see a video and photo of how my lashes were left extremely curly; my lashes appeared to be half the length than what I walked in with. Not to mention how irritating it was when they would fold into my top eyelid while I was blinking. So, that same weekend the owner said I can go back to make it less curly. Then at my 2nd visit, she left me with one eye way more lifted than the other! 1 day later they looked even worse as seen in photo. On top of that, the owner refused to give me any kind of refund for my unsatisfaction, false advertisement of service, especially with an inexperienced tech. All he could offer me a was ANOTHER attempt at a lash lift in 4 weeks and he claims there was nothing he could do to fix my lashes or make them look better. So I was stuck walking around with crusty lashes for over a month until the chemicals washed off. No thanks and never again! read more

The BEST in town! I've been visiting this location for 3 years now after years of horrible waxing. I wished I had started coming here a long time ago. My eyebrows are now fully grown in and I no longer have to fill them in with an eye brow pencil (LOL). All of the threaders are great and provide excellent service. I rarely use the same person on every visit and go with whomever is available at the time. This *was* one of my go-to places to get my eyebrows threaded. But after tonight's customer service experience, I won't be returning. The girl who threaded me did a great job on my eyebrows. When she was done, she asked me if I used Yelp and offered to give me $3 discount for writing a review. I told her that I had already written a review a few years ago and there wasn't any discount necessary. I just wanted to get my eyebrows done and head out. However, there seemed to be a misunderstanding because she applied the $3 discount anyway when I checked out. The lead asked me what my name was and if she could see the review on my phone. When she realized that the review was from 2013, she shook her head and started yelling at the girl who threaded me in their respective language in front of me. I'm assuming it's because my review wasn't recent and the girl had already applied my discount without taking a closer look. She mistook the review for the kiosk that they have across from H&M, and then proceeded to tell me to copy my review from 2013 and update the review... or write a new review right then and there. I pretended to type something on my phone and then left so I wouldn't have to deal with it. I've never had an encounter where a business asked me to write a review on the spot. I'm turned off by their approach to customer service and their overall business model, so I'll be getting my eyebrows threaded elsewhere. read more

She didn't listen to what I wanted just wanted to get started. She didn't really even want me looking at them after and rushed me out. Could do a little training with customer service. I got my eyebrows done recently. I was impressed with the amount of PPE the staff was wearing. My person wore a mask, and face shield. Instead of using her teeth to anchor the thread, she used a device attached to her neck. My eyebrows look nice and clean! Definitely coming back read more

Terrible experience. I walk in around noon. There are no customers there. There's a tip-off. A woman approaches (I think her name tag said Nerissa) and I tell her that I want an eyebrow wax, but I also want to grow my eyebrows out and just want them to be cleaned up and shaped. She didn't ask me any of that info, and just quickly rushed me into a chair, but I did offer it. That's foreign to me. I'd previously gone to the Benefit BrowBar in Macy's at Tyson's and loved the experience. I felt my vision for my brows was valued. Eyebrows are kind of an important part of one's face and Benefit gets it. Completely different experience from a place called "Perfect Eyebrows." You'd think that there'd be a similar value for the customer's vision for their brows. Not so, apparently. Nerissa starts threading my eyebrows. Keep in mind I asked for a wax... I stop her and ask "Are you going to wax them at some point?" She says, "Oh, you didn't tell me you wanted a wax, I'm threading and almost done with this brow." I most certainly DID tell her exactly what I wanted. She just didn't listen. I obviously allow her to thread the other brow so that they match. Does it look OK? I mean I guess, but it's not what I wanted. I've never gotten my brows threaded before. Not sure what they're supposed to look like compared to a wax. Never coming back. Went and got my eyebrows and lip done- my stylist RIPPED OFF THE SKIN OF MY EYELID with the wax, tried to BLAME ME FOR NOT HOLDING MY SKIN CORRECTLY, and then didnt even offer a refund for scarring my skin. I had to demand a refund on account of them RIPPING THE SKIN OFF MY EYES. Incredibly awful. Worst eyebrow experience of my life. If my skin doesnt grow back- learn from my experience! Attach please find a photo of my ripped skin- no it is not a bruise, it stings like hell, and the skin was literally ripped off UPDATE2: IT HAS BEEN NEARLY THREE MONTHS AND THERE IS STILL A SCAR. I have called MANY times asking to speak with the manager and the staff keeps giving me a FAKE NUMBER. They were incredibly disrespectful and DO NOT CARE that they potentially scarred me for LIFE. GANGA was the person who ripped the skin off my eyelids and then tried to hide it from me by the way. So unprofessional. UPDATE: Learn from my mistake! I went to another waxing salon which said this was, in her opinion, likely caused by error of the waxer (so its even worse that the waxer tried to blame me). Sushma (sorry if I spelled it wrong) is usually my go-to-girl, since I know I'll always leave with clean, somewhat natural looking eyebrows. I stopped in here with my roommate because she was getting her eyebrows threaded and after watching hers get done, decided to get my done. I've always plucked my own eyebrows and they're naturally kinda straight with no angle, so I asked if they could clean it up and possibly change the shape of my eyebrows. The lady was super sweet and said that I should keep it as close to my natural shape but she could clean it up and angle it slightly more. I appreciated how honest she was! She evened out my eyebrows (after years of plucking, one was actually slightly bigger than the other). She also gave me this lotion temple massage when I was done. I've been here a few times for my brows, but never for a henna tattoo. I came in for a henna tattoo today and I was highly unimpressed. The artist, Kavita who did my tattoo said she had 15 years of experience, yet she could not create a simple tattoo. She rushed through the tattoo, the designs are uneven, and the entire tattoo appears very sloppy. Needless to say, I will NEVER return. Word of advice to Kavita: Do NOT rush your tattoos PAY attention to what your clients requests are CARE about your work TAKE your time so you do NOT mess up someone else tattoo. read more

Good! I found this place threaded my eyebrows in such a way that I didn't feel the searing pain that I experienced at Montgomery Mall. There are two threading options- junior or senior, and they differ in price by $3. I picked the junior becasue I figured she wouldn't mess my eyebrows up too badly, and she didn't! This was my first time trying our Perfect Eyebrows, and threading. I chose Perfect Eyebrows because of the reviews on Yelp, and was not disappointed. As a new customer I was able to buy the $12 for $10 deal via Yelp. I went to the store, which is right by the entrance to Lord and Taylor, and went straight to the counter. Just as an FYI: I did call in advance for an appointment, but they don't take appointments. I told the ladies at the country terms that I had the Yelp deal and they were able to immediately sit me down. The threading process was new to me, but the girl helping me was very attentive and made me comfortable. She even offered tissues when my eyes watered. Check out was simple. She is so good at it actually, that the most recent time I went, it didn't even hurt to get it done! This location is kind of tucked away in the back, across from Subway. They also have a kiosk in front of H&M but there's usually a wait there so I always go to the actual storefront. The ladies here are really gentle and do a great job everytime. They also have a good rewards program so the more you come, the more savings you rack up. read more

I was at the mall with two friends one day and needed to kill time before a movie. I usually pluck my own brows because I've had bad experiences with waxing ripping my skin off (OUCH!). I have had my brows threaded once before by a supposedly good threader in Glover Park DC who had rave reviews on yelp, but I wasn't particularly impressed and it was expensive. And it HURT. On a whim I decided to give this place a try. The girl who did my brows was named Kalpina (not sure if I spelled that right). It was almost painless and I'm a wimp when it comes to these things, very quick, and looked beautiful. Not overly thin, arched, or thick, but just a great shape. Its amazing what a difference it made from me plucking my own brows. She made me look so much better, and all for only $10!!!! I am a total convert. My new go-to threading shop, thanks to Annie K! I've been twice so far & I love it! I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years & it's always been struggle finding a place that is consistent. Both times I went, two different ladies threaded my eyebrows & both did a great job. My eyebrows were to my liking & even. The shop space is very spacious & has two rows of multiple chairs. It is clean & has modernized decor. There are plentiful staff members working, so the wait usually isn't too long. Staff is friendly & work fast but efficiently. Both times I went, there were people continuously coming in the entire time I was there. Definitely my new recommended threading shop for all my friends! I really like this place and I've come for the past few years. I really like Ganga and refer anyone I talk to to her. In the past I only came to Siam and then she moved, like anyone else who is paranoid about their brows I went on the search cautiously looking for someone to take the caterpillars on my face. Low and behold Ganga was referred to me and I haven't been to anyone else since, not even for a touch up. I try to live by one rule of thumb with stylist and others in the beauty industry: if they're in the front or closest to the window/entrance then he/she is probably your safest bet. It's an actual salon located inside of Tysons Corner mall and reminds me of similar salons in Atlanta and Houston. It's clean, well-lit, and my lady (her name started with an S - can't remember her full name) was excellent. I normally go to Dupont Threading because I live/work closer to DC, but this is a fantastic option if you find yourselves in Tysons in need of a threading job. I'm super disappointed with the threading I got done today. I've been getting my eyebrows done for a while, so I'm used to pain, but my eyebrow lady (Babina) was absolutely terrible. She skimmed over most of the hair on my chin and when she did pluck something, it hurt a lot more than it does when other people have done it. I honestly think she just doesn't know how to do threading. When I checked my face in the mirror when she was done and pointed out remaining hairs (there were a lot), she basically attacked my face. I've never seen someone be so uncouth with a spool of thread, but my face was red after and there were STILL remaining hairs. I had her do it over twice and honestly was super unhappy with the result. I really do not recommend going here for your brows, you'll be better off waiting for your normal eyebrow lady or going elsewhere (recommendation: Threading Place in Falls Church is amazing!!!) read more

I was pleasantly surprised. I was DESPERATE for an eyebrow threading and have only had it done in NYC (for cheap cheap cheap at this place I just love...), so I was very nervous. Alas, there I was at Tyson's and just had to risk it. I debated back and forth but everytime I caught my face in a store mirror - OUCH - I was reminded that I just couldn't turn down the opportunity, though I risked ending up with mis-shapen eyebrows... Luckily at the last minute I saw a sign that basically said "you don't have to do this embarrassing thing here in front of mall-goers...if you are not lazy just walk on over to our regular store front near Lord and Taylor" - YES! So I feel really lucky since when I was on the couch waiting, I realized I was sitting next to a regular. She told me who she liked and she was willing to wait, so I waited too. SO GLAD I DID. I wish I remembered the threader's name (started with an S). I saw 3 of her clients and they all looked great. I knew I chose wisely. So worth the wait! She took her time and they came out great. On the flip side, while I was waiting, I kept an eye out on other clients with other threaders. I was NOT impressed. Granted they may have asked for that look, but some were too straight or too thin or uneven. Me no likey. And I remember one threader in particular was taking soooooo long. Omg. My threader finished 3 people in the time she took to finish one. I definitely stayed away from her. Maybe she was new/nervous. So if you've never been and want to get eyebrows done, it may be worth just waiting 5-15 minutes and seeing which threader's work you prefer. If you are getting other parts of your face done, likely does not matter. Regardless of your service, it's not as cheap as NYC, but I've learned that no place is in the DC metro area! Obviously if I didn't have who I had I would have rated this place lower, however it is very clean bright big and modern which is very inviting. I wish I took pix because it is not the same place I see in the photos attached to this place's reviews. One more thing: you can place tip on credit card too - bonus! $12 eyebrow threading. Stopped into their shop location (Tyson's Corner Mall, Level 1/bottom floor, outside Lord & Taylor) after reading great Yelp reviews. I was seated immediately and attended to by a young women who was idle when I walked in. She worked quickly and cleaned up my eyebrows nicely. She honored my request to thin them out more after "final" inspection. Before heading out, I noticed that the arch heights were slightly uneven, but I felt uncomfortable sitting back down and asking her to adjust them again.
