I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted by Jenny and she did a great job. I moved here recently and it is great to have a neighborhood eyebrow place! read more

What a wonderful threading place! I got my eyebrows threaded here and found that the service was quick, precise, and as pain-free as could possibly be for a threading service. I found the price to be reasonable, and I will absolutely be returning! One note is that I found it hard to find and had to call for directions. read more

Owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. She is very efficient but does not rush when she's doing threading or waxing services on you. Very reasonably priced and they give you a punch card - after 10 eyebrow services, the next one is free. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and always am able to get my eyebrows done to my liking and in a timely manner!

My go-to threading place in Ballston for my eyebrows! The service is always professional, efficient, and thorough. I consistently return and am always confident that I will be happy with the results. read more

I have been coming here for eyebrow threading for over 3 years and I have never been disappointed!!! It is affordable for the area and the girls who work here are very kind. I never wait more than 5min. Highly recommend!!! read more

The best place to get eyebrows done!! I went to a different eyebrow threading place that made my eyebrows way too thin. I was recommended by a friend to try sunshine threading and I explained to her that I want to grow out my eyebrows. She said she would clean my eyebrows and leave enough to allow them to grow. She was so quick and efficient, and my eyebrows looked amazing after! No sign of obvious gaps while allowing me to continue growing out my eyebrows. Amazing service. You're provided a punch card as well and you get a free eyebrow appointment after 10 visits. Cannot recommend this place enough! Located behind the cvs in ballston quarter. read more

I happened to be in the area and was in need of some eyebrow and lip threading so I gave this place a shot. I like to get my eyebrows done in a very particular way because my natural eyebrows are so unique. She followed my instructions and did a phenomenal job! She also did a really good job with my upper lip as well. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to come back! read more

Wonderful service very nice design also does lash lift and eye brow tint and lamination read more

Sunshine Threading Place - Great service! - Threading Services Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

I don't usually get my brows done that often, but I saw this place open up right by me, and it's always empty whenever I walk by, so I decided to give it a try. I've been here a couple times now (no appointments necessary) and both times have been quick and professional. I think they did a great job cleaning up my brows and defining my natural brow line. Some places I've gone to take the creative liberty of giving me a really defined arch or taking off too much and leaving a thin line, but this place was perfect. I've only come here for eyebrow threading, but they offer several other services such as waxing. They have a punch card that's buy 10 get 1 free. The price for eyebrows is $12 which I think is pretty normal for the area (and what I'm used to paying). It can be hard to open a new business during the pandemic, but I'm impressed by their service, and now that I'm actually going out to places again it gives me the confidence to actually try and look presentable haha. I definitely recommend if you live in the area! read more

I've been a consistent customer of this threading place for years, ever since they were in their old location. Each visit leaves me thrilled with the results - no cuts, just perfectly/consistently threaded eyebrows every time. I have never had such consistent and reliable results at my previous eyebrow places! read more

Amazing quality and great service! My favorite spot in Arlington, now a regular customer?

Even though I live across the country now I still am a loyal customer to this spot! They always do a fantastic job.

I always have an amazing experience at this threading place. The woman who's nearly always there is very welcoming and professional. She makes me feel comfortable and listens to my preferences. The threading itself was quick, not too painful, and done with great precision. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the attention to detail in the service. The prices are also fair/standard for the quality of service they provide. I would highly recommend this threading place to anyone looking for a great experience and perfect brows! read more

Sunshine threading is an okay place to go to. I didn't have a bad experience here but it wasn't the best. I'm from Los Angeles so my norms might be different, but I thought this was on the pricier side of eyebrow threading. Back home, it's $9 and I paid $13 here excluding tip. I would feel a lot better if I loved the end product. It felt like the lady who did my brows was rushed even though there was no one else in the store. She threaded my brows for about 5 minutes. When I got home to take a better look, there was still some excess hairs on my lid. She also made it a little thinner than I would have liked it to be, but I should have specified that first. I did like the aloe they put on after threading. read more

The service is always excellent every time I go. My eyebrows look fantastic every time.

Went to this shop for last minute threading due to reading the positive reviews and was not disappointed at all! Only one person was present to provide the threading service, but I was able to get in and out within 30 minutes even with 2 other customers before me. The woman did a wonderful job on my brows at one of the lowest prices I've seen in the area so I will definitely be returning. read more

i have been coming to this threading salon for years. The shop is clean and the threader is friendly. Tell the threader what you want and sit down and relax! The threader does an excellent job. read more

This was a great find. I started a new job in Ballston and found Sunshine two years ago--I've been going ever since. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and the ladies do a wonderful job each time. read more

The lady working was silent along with the shop. The eyebrows were supposed to be threaded and then tinted. The price was low and it was evident why. I know eyebrows are supposed to be sisters and not twins but they came out looking like distant cousins, with not just different shapes but inconsistent tinting on both of the eyebrows. read more

Great service and great results. I stopped by after the gym and I was in and out within 5 minutes and my brows look spectacular.

I'm nervous to try a new brow place to get mine threaded and this was the first I've gone to in Arlington, but she did such a good job! No wait, perfect price, convenient location, definitely recommend!! read more

Very clean, quick, and well-priced. If you haven't had threading before, it is SUPER painful, but in my opinion it's the most effective way for facial hair removal. You don't get a rash like after waxing, and they did a fantastic job of keeping my eyebrows thick but well-groomed. Highly recommend! read more

Super fast service, & very clean! The technician did a great job and price. Convenient location, where there is parking at the Ballston Quarter Mall. The salon is located on the street level. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Very disappointed in my eyebrows. I'm leaving this review because of the lack of accountability. I have naturally thick/full eyebrows. I do not get them arched, I get them cleaned up shaped. The same technician services me on each visit and when I saw my eyebrows and expressed my disappointment, she got defensive and blamed me. I give the same instructions each time on my eyebrows. She stated that I wasn't clear when I was and she was rushing to get to another client. To some, eyebrows are just eyebrows however, over threading causes low confidence. My eyebrows are thin and sore and when a customer tells you what they want, you don't give them what you want them to have. read more

This place is pretty new in the Ballston quarter and I really liked it! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and the customer service was excellent. My eyebrows looked great after, and I will definitely be returning! read more
