I am super super super picky when it comes to lashes. Been in the game over two years but like many I have struggled through less than ideal lash situations.. adhesive burns, constantly late or rescheduled appointments, home "studios" that are non clean, I could go on... After scouring yelp/Facebook/google I was thrilled to find wow lash!! It's a little bit of a drive for me, but so worth it! Mimi and team are amazing :)) highly recommend- clean space + super friendly and talented techs. So grateful to have found this fab team-- they offer a multitude of services beyond lashes: facials, microblading, waxing, and permanent makeup. Also if you'd like you can relax and listen to podcasts/music with your headphones, or have a little lash chat with your tech. There's always relaxing music playing in the background Also they offer bottom lashes, which can be tricky to find! I'm obsessed with the volume lashes, and the retention has been amazing! I have tried multiple locations and am a fan of all of them :D This is inside salon pejman btw ;)

I've been going to Mimi and Emmy for the past six months and I truly LOVE their work! They are super detail-oriented and my lashes always look stunning. I have allergies and wear contacts - so occasionally the combination of that + accidental eye rubbing causes me to lose lashes in between a fill session but with their impeccable service, it's not even a problem - they always accommodate me quickly to fit me right in, at no extra charge. I also workout 5-6 days a week and even this amount of sweating has proved no problem with their lash extensions. I get compliments on them all the time and the amount of time it has saved me NOT having to put on and take off copious amounts of eye make-up every day has been such a blessing. Definitely go to WoW Lash Studio if you are thinking of taking the eyelash-extension plunge - you won't be sorry you did!

Please note this business' response. This is because I sent them the printed out description of "Dermatitis" that was automatically generated by Patient First. I received written confirmation from a dermatologist the next day that indeed this reaction was from the rash. This business is so exacerbating in that there is no integrity whatsoever. A simple accountability, empathy, and going a little out of the way to make a customer feel a bit more comfortable after a traumatic experience like this is what a good business would do. I am a few days away from my wedding day and my skin is not 100% but this experience was a real lesson in not falling for businesses like this who only focus on upselling and profit. read more

I've been coming here for the past year. Emmy does an excellent job and I get a lot of compliments on my lashes. I can be in and out in an hour. I come for a fill every 2 weeks and these visits are cheaper than one visit at DC Lash bar in Georgetown, where I used to go. The setup is usually a shared room maybe with one other client but it has never bothered me, it's always quiet and I usually fall asleep. There is also a private room. Appts are very easy via text and they are very accommodating about schedule changes, which I really appreciate. read more

The extensions looked nice enough, but I have never heard of paying $250 with a $50 off coupon for eyelash extensions. I did try to find a price list online before going but I assumed it couldn't be more than $150 which was my mistake. The eyelash extensions were full, but by the 3rd day quite a few had fallen out. That's not competitively priced for the services rendered read more

I original booked an appointment here because someone recommended me to come here the process was fairly quick which I thought was good but I wondered how well the lashes would hold up. It's been about a week and over 7 lashes have fallen out. Also the type of glue that was used to adhere the lashes made my eyes water and burn During the whole process, I've never had this happen. I got my lashes done today and am thrilled by the results. She took the time to show me pictures and make sure I was getting the right length and volume. The space was comfortable and the process took about 2 hours all together. It was relaxing and I just listened to a few podcasts while she did her thing. I was also super impressed by their flexibility with appointments. I've already booked my appointment to go back! So glad I found them. read more

Best lash extensions in the DMV area. Mimi does a beautiful job and I've gotten so many compliments. The full set lasts about 3 weeks and then gradually falls out with your natural lash replacement, but the last lashes stay for a good 2 months, it's amazing! Most other places last for 3 weeks total, and look half as full as Wow. I have been getting extensions for the past 6 years, mostly in NYC, and nowhere does a better job. My lashes look so full, natural and sexy. I love not having to wear eye makeup- these seriously cut down my morning makeup routine from a half hour to five minutes. You could just put on chapstick and be ready to go with these babies, they look so good. I tried three other places in DC/VA before going to Mimi and they were an expensive joke. I've been coming to Mimi for 3 years now on a quarterly basis and can't imagine going anywhere else! read more

I have been a customer here for about 8 months. This is the absolute best place to get your lashes done in Arlington/DC. Reasonable pricing for incredible work. I get a full set and fills every two weeks. I got fills a week before quarantine, and my lashes fell out so evenly. I actually still look like I have extensions, but more naturally. I cannot wait to go back when the reopen and have them restore me to my lash glory. I am in awe of these amazing technicians. I cannot wait until they reopen, and I plan on going right back to my regular two week fills. This is the BEST lash extension place in our area. read more

I'm so happy with Mimi's client service. Mimi and her sister are kind and very professional. Scheduling is flexible. Mimi takes venmo which is convenient for me because I don't carry cash. They do quality work for a fair price. Products used are from the distinguished "Xtreme" brand, which is natural. She has excellent training and relative certifications. Lashes are applied with precision, literally viewing her work through a magnifying scope. The end result is one that looks naturally beautiful. Wow is right! This place is a gem!! I had lash extensions done here yesterday and I could not be happier! Mimi the owner took care of me and she is professional and knowledgeable while being incredibly warm and just an absolute pleasure!! I contacted for an appointment via Facebook but honestly was looking around for other places bc eh... FB. But she messaged me back within hours and I was scheduled for an appointment the VERY NEXT DAY. Her space is within another building, parking is a breeze, and her studio room is comfortable and warm. She even had a warm blanket laid out to make her clients as comfy as possible!!! Now to the extensions - I had no idea what to get. I had extensions a few months before for the first time while out of town and it was BAD. I expected her to simply show me a pamphlet to chose from but instead she asked what look I was going for and recommended the "natural" lashes; I was hesitant that I would not be getting my money's worth, but she took time to explain why she thought it was the best choice, while assuring me it was my decision and she could do anything I wanted. She let me see after the first eye, and she NAILED it!! Looks exactly how I pictured, even better than I imagined. I could go on, but I have to go the mirror and take a look at my lashes some more bc they are epic. Come to this studio folks. Mimi is amazing. read more

I am incredibly unimpressed. First it took almost 2 1/2 hours to get my lash extensions done. Then it cost $280!!! I've gotten lash extensions before and typically pay around $100. Then I'm supposed to come back every two weeks! They also look ridiculous. I was told I was getting something very natural and I have giant black, over-curled, crazy thick lashes. I'm trying to find a place to get them removed and re-done. What a waste of money and time . read more

She chaotically applied paint with a blade, making random cuts without even drawing a proper outline or sketch beforehand. As a result, one eyebrow was higher than the other, and their shapes were completely different. When I asked her to fix the mess, she was rude and refused to correct her mistakes. In the end, I paid to have my eyebrows ruined and had to spend even more time and money to fix them. I do not recommend her at all - you'll only end up with problems instead of beautiful eyebrows!

While she does use a drill (contrary to what I originally searched for), she's incredibly skilled, gentle, and precise--so much so that it never damages my nails. Her technique is both efficient and mindful, striking the perfect balance between machine and hand filing. Initially, I was getting regular gel manicures, but Bernadette truly cares about nail health, and she suggested switching to builder gel (BIAB). It was a game-changer. Builder gel doesn't require soaking off and allows for continuous fills--meaning you can build on top of your last set without compromising nail integrity. Since switching, my nails have grown so long, strong, and healthy, and a single BIAB manicure can last me up to 6 weeks! Beyond nails, Bernadette is a wonderful person--easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She also specializes in pedicures for clients with diabetes or other health conditions, which speaks volumes about her expertise and sensitivity to clients' unique needs. If you're looking for a thoughtful, health-conscious nail experience, I highly recommend Refresh Nail Spa and Bernadette in particular. My sister and I have been coming to Mimi for the last year and she's fabulous! She's extremely friendly and professional. She also is great about working with your schedule for appointments. I went to a high-end lash place in Boston for lashes, but when I moved here, Mimi's work was 10x better. She listens to what you want, makes adjustments, and works very fast. My lashes used to always fall off when I used to get them done in Boston, but with Mimi, my lashes stay beautiful for weeks with no problem. This is the best lash extensions place in the area. I always leave satisfied. My lashes lasted for a long time and held its shape. The first time I came, Emmy did my lashes. She takes her time and is very detailed. She makes sure that your lashes get taken care of. Ever since she has become my favorite to do my lashes. This place is legit. I have been getting my eyelashes done at least every 3 months for the past 10 years. I have never had them stay on for so long or look so natural. Mimi transformed my bald looking pathetic natural lashes into sexy, beautiful, fluttery glory! She was super quick and professional. I love WoW Lash Studio. I started going to see Mimi about 2 years ago, and I will never go anywhere else. Their glamour lashes are beautiful and my favorite. I work out, sweat, sleep on my side and haven't had any issues with my lashes falling out in between fill-ins. Mimi takes her time and is very detailed.
