To my great regret, I ended up with Mimi, who completely ruined my eyebrows. I have no idea who gave her a license or why, but she is definitely not a qualified specialist. She chaotically applied paint with a blade, making random cuts without even drawing a proper outline or sketch beforehand. As a result, one eyebrow was higher than the other, and their shapes were completely different. When I asked her to fix the mess, she was rude and refused to correct her mistakes. In the end, I paid to have my eyebrows ruined and had to spend even more time and money to fix them. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS! NOT just the good ones!! I wanted to wait for my brows to heal before the review but it's clear that she messed it up! 1. She was super nice at the phone to schedule the appointment but on the day her attitude was some moments nice and other very rude. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asume she will copy that ( Picture of her own work) but she never enter on details like pigment or if I wanted abundant or just a few. When she was done, she showed me the result and I was shocked to see a "professional " going a little bit far here and missed some spots there. When I pointed out the mistake, at the beginning didn't seemed to be obvious for her, after the 3th try taking a look. The only good thing from her ; she tried to "fixed it" I asked a couple times if what she used will actually fix it, because for me it didn't look like that ( taking in count the expert is her not me) She just said YES and replied rude the second time. An explanation of HOW that's supposed happened it would have been better than just YES. My mistake was ignored the BAD reviews HERE and in YELP( She have more there) And arrived 6 minutes late on the appointment date. I am very disappointed with my results. I had microblading and one touch up. The color is too dark for my complexion and hair. A friend was honest and told me it looked a stamp and lacked the definition of skilled microblading. One eyebrow is darker than the other and the tail veers away from my natural hairline, creating an even more artificial look. I made sure to wait two months after the touch up before casting judgment. I can now say my eyebrows look harsh and fake. So I just got home from my first microblading session with Mimi. As you can see in my before photo, my natural brows are sparse and very light. In the after photo you can see I now have brows to frame my face! The healing takes about 10 days to two or three weeks and I know they will be a bit lighter ultimately. This is fine by me. I love the initial results of my 1st microblading session! I'm now in week 4 and my brows look lovely. I like that I can run errands or even go grab drinks without thinking about putting on a full face of makeup. These new brows automatically make me look more "put together" lol. The overall experience was easy - Mimi was very flexible about scheduling or rescheduling, if needed. I found the salon with no issues (bonus: lots of parking is available in their lot) and was immediately serviced upon arrival. I'll admit that the procedure itself was a bit more painful than I expected, but I'm sure you can ask for longer numbing, if needed. For the healing, it was mostly fine, except that keeping your brows dry in the summer is impossible! I did the best I could though and during week 2, got the flaking and scabbing as anticipated. They looked absolutely crazy for 36-48 hours, but started looking better and better afterwards. Now, I'm just waiting for my much-anticipated follow-up appointment to make my brows a bit thicker and fill in a couple of areas where the pigment isn't as dark as the rest. I've had my microblading for less than 24 hours and I already feel like a different person! I pretty much have no eyebrows; I've been painting them on for the last 20 plus years. Mimi was nice but I wasn't happy with the job done. My eyebrows were uneven because she didn't use measuring tools and she performed shading on my eyebrows without letting me know. I only found this out after when I went to another salon for a consult. Shading and microblading are different and that was not explained to me fully. The service I paid for was microblading. The salon was in a very shady neighborhood/location and I almost drove away when I saw its location - should've followed my gut. I will not be going back for a touch up. I would highly advise against going here if you have light features or want natural brows/skilled microblading. The result is way too harsh and dark for my face, my brows are uneven(one has a point and the other does not), and the shape is too high from my natural brow line. I consulted with someone who does removal, and they said the lines are too deep in the tails and the strokes are very thick. I could not make my touch up due to a personal emergency and thank god I didn't. Currently getting removal before I do a cover up elsewhere.
