In late 2024, after ignoring our numerous requests to have the technician check in with our front desk when he arrives for the monthly service, we deactivated the technicians FOB key so that he would be required to check in with the front desk for access to the elevator rooms. Upon discovering his FOB was deactivated, James accosted me (female) in my office. I am the GM of BayCrest and was the person responsible for having his FOB deactivated. James was rude, dismissive and condescending. I explained, politely, that we had asked their office repeatedly to make sure the tech checks in with the front desk so that we can relay information to him, such as issues with the elevators, dropped keys or other items, etc. He continued to be rude and condescending. During his visit to our site today, 6/30/2025, he spoke negatively about me, stated I was aggressive. I was really shocked to hear this as I specifically recall James accosting me in my office while I was alone. He was rude, aggressive, dismissive and condescending. There have been multiple issues with this company, especially with James, as he has been rude to our other female office staff. I would like a call from the owner/president and I am requesting a different technician to service our site. James is a danger to our female staff and I am not comfortable being forced to work with such a vile, dangerous and rude person who lacks customer service or human decency. I would caution ALL residential or commercial buildings who are considering working with SF Elevator. The low quality service, lack of response and lack of customer service is not worth saving a few dollars.

They tried to make the yellow but ended up running the red light, almost hitting a pedestrian. I tried calling their service line to report the incident but the person on the other line seemed more concerned about protecting the tech, and their own neck, then keeping the public safe. If I could I'd give them a middle finger rating. The company knows what tech is where because they follow a route and the techs are dispatched to go to either scheduled service or emergencies.
