So rented a storage unit from this barely managed or run facility. Paid ahead of time and had a horrible time getting into facility after paying and given a code to access. Set it up on auto-pay and within 3-4 weeks got a text saying I owe my next month's rent. Tried to call, kept getting a vm with no return calls. Even during business hours!! They had some weird system to pay over the phone - so paid with my credit card. Got a confirmation # and showed paid on my card statement. After I spent over a half hour packing my car - go to facility to put items in. ACCESS DENIED. IT WAS the weekend and no one in Office or answering their main #.. Ridiculous. During business hours too!!! So I follow someone in thinking I can hopefully access elevator - NOPE. But you need your code to get out!! No one around so I sat in my car for 25 mins to no avail and calling 5x. Almost considered calling the Police since I needed to get home to get medication to my elderly mom. I am very disappointed. Fremont charged me $275.00 which I thought was all I had to pay and asked the counter representative why are you taking $275.00 is this the only amount i will pay. I asked if there was anything else I would pay and the representative says no. I get to hollister and hollister charges me $275.00. I basically paid over $500 for a truck I was not happy with. Kept shaking. And to double charge me and I kept calling the 800 number complaining of the charges. Ambiance This place is a nice facility. It's made to cater to a different clientele. It has a conference room, WiFi, electrical outlets. Pretty crazy for a storage unit. Storage unit I rented a 10x10 unit. Very clean and right in the corner. I enjoy having it in that prime location. It feels a little tight compared to another unit I had in Redwood City. That is because I had brick on two of the sides instead of metal. I see people there all the time that I feel hang out there. Service The customer service had good and bad. One of the reps thought I could just see the model unit and I will take wherever they put me for the 10x10. I've never seen that before. I've been to half a dozen units and they always show me where it is located physically before I rent. The other rep understood and found a great site for me.
