We are an assisted living community, and having a safe, reliable elevator is absolutely critical…read morefor the well-being and independence of our residents. Unfortunately, we struggled for years with Thyssenkrupp (TK Elevator). It often took weeks for them to respond to service calls, leaving our elderly residents stressed, frustrated, and in some cases unable to get where they needed to go. We received constant complaints from families and staff, and it created a real sense of urgency and helplessness in our building. Thankfully, we found Northern Elevator Company -- and the difference has been night and day. They came in and fully modernized our elevator with a brand-new control system, and since then, everything has been running smoothly. No more calls about a stuck elevator. No more worried residents or families. Just peace of mind knowing we can rely on our elevator when we need it most. Northern Elevator has been responsive, professional, and a true partner in keeping our community safe and mobile. We're so grateful to have made the switch and highly recommend them to any facility where elevator reliability isn't optional -- it's essential. --Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill

And even then, they weren't confident that the issue would be solved. I found Northern Elevator after searching online and reaching out. They came out, quickly diagnosed the real issue, and discovered it was simply a $20 relay. They fixed the elevator the same day and got everything back up and running. I worked with Kevin and Robert. Their honesty, professionalism, and expertise saved us thousands of dollars and a huge headache. We couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend Northern Elevator.

And we have had to deal with a number of elevator companies that have gouged us because of it. There is a lot of money involved, continuous safety issues to consider, and everything comes to a standstill when elevators don't run. ESR IS THE BEST. We have had to replace two elevator systems in three separate buildings. We love these guys. They are fair and honest and bend over backwards to take care of their customers. We have experienced other companies that were costly and slow to respond. It is scary when an HOA is looking to expend hundred's of thousands of dollars to replace elevators but for us it was a required expense. So I can't say enough good things about ESR. I am so happy we choose them and we plan to stick with them for years to come. We trust them completely. You can't go wrong.

There seems to be a lack of communication, but again, I don't know if it's them or the company working with them. I also wonder if the issue is that we are a small housing association and they are choosing to focus on the multi-million dollar buildings in the city. Is that why they come to our association after hours, for an "extra fee"? Or is it because they were called late. There was even some talk about us getting new elevators but we've held off because we're not sure about the service.
