It did not take long to find the right guy to purchase and install a chairlift company. Right off the bat I see great reviews and service minded this Laird is. I called him and he answer the phone instantly. He was articulate explaing the brands he sells and estimated prices. There are so much adjectives to say about this guy. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, service oriiented, timely, friendly, professional in a true sense, courteous, respectful and even aware to remove his shoes entering our home. I highly recommend this Laird Lift Company. You will never regret it. We got a life long friend with Laird Lifts. read more

We love, love, love Laird Lifts and Noble! Everything about our experience with him has been top notch... and then some. We would, and have, recommend that anyone looking for i door or outdoor lifts use Laird Lifts. 11 out of 10 stars for sure. read more

Mr Laird, knows my machine well. A Hawley chair lift. He knows his stuff. He's the best repairman I've found since the original man who installed it, Ted, passed away. I'm grateful to have found him. read more

OMG what can you sat about Laird lifts. If there could be 10 star review this company was fantastic. From the beginning on the initial call to inquire about a stairlift going into my mom's house until the finished product today. Noble and Karina went beyond what any company would do to satisfy our stairlift needs. Noble was kind and very hard worker ( Thank you Nobel) Karina was also fantastic but on the personal side of the business. She was very nice and spoke with mom on various topics. You can tell this was not phony that she really cared about what my mom was saying. Kudos to both of you. If you want to hire a very hard working individual and a very personable person. You can not find a better company to hire than Laird Lifts. Thank you Noble & Karina read more

I had a number of options from checking Yelp. While others wanted me to leave a message, most of which were not returned, Noble picked up the phone on the first or second ring. I explained what I needed, and he agreed to stop by the next day. He took measurements, gave me a price, and a date to do the work. Due to some last-minute family issues, I needed to postpone the work by a day, which Noble agreed would not only work, but would make it easier for him, as he could do some prep work the day before, making installation quicker and easier for him. Installation day arrived and he was ready to go an hour earlier than we had discussed. When he got here, he quickly unloaded his van, and went right to work. He was efficient, personable and did an excellent job on the installations. Great service, fair price, everything we wanted and needed! I doubt that we personally would need him to do another installation, but I would highly recommend him to someone who did! read more

What a pleasure to do business with Lairdlifts! He's prompt, responsive, and found us a used lift and installed it quickly. We were buying it for a loved neighbor, so the savings were appreciated! We only wish everyone in the trades were this ... GOOD! read more

This company has a lot of empathy for people that needs a stairlift. When he came to do the measurements and install the lift, he brought breakfast muffins. He also accommodated my family to give a really good price because he likes to help people. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone. Now my son is able to go outside and enjoy how every much time he has left. read more

Noble is a truly an artist of his craft. He answered all our questions from explaining the mechanics/footprint of the stair lift to the installation process. I have a landing spot which required a curved stairlift. After sending pictures of the stairs, Noble was able to quote and find a stair lift system to match the profile of the stairs. Noble knew we needed the stair lift urgently and was able to accommodate our needs. Noble is super professional from beginning to end. read more

Simply the best. Don't look anywhere else. I was almost totally ripped off by another company-and the other company was rude to me as well. Noble was so kind on the phone when I called him. He accommodated our need. The product and end result is so beautiful and works great. Another company wanted to charge me a lot extra for something that Noble just kindly included. He's a very kind person who cares about his clients and provides exceptional service. He will deliver a stellar product and service without being extremely overpriced. We are very thankful to him. read more

Laird Lifts installed a stairlift in my house for my 93 years old dad 5 years ago. And his service is exceptional amazing and his annual service is worthy. He came right away if there's a problem and fix it without extra pay since we paid for maintenance fee annually. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Laird Lift has provided me with excellent service for my home chair lift even at short notice. Today Laird installed a new chair which is much better than the original at a very good price. But what I appreciate most of all, is knowing that I will never again be stranded without a dependable and caring service for my disability needs. I cannot say enough good things about this service and how it has given me such a sense of security and safety, not to mention the kindness and curtesy of the technician. Highly recommended. read more

Noble was an absolute joy to work with. He's professional and caring. The chairlift he installed for our home was really elegant looking (which you don't expect from a chair lift!). He's quite skilled and I can't recommend him highly enough read more

We had bids from several stairlift vendors, and some of their salespeople were not even sure if an installation was possible on the narrow, steep steps of our 1910 house. Then we found Noble Laird, who is not a salesman but a technical master of all things stairlift-related. He was so knowledgeable about the products and really understood our needs. He suggested a previously-owned lift that he re-engineered to meet our unique requirements, at less than half the cost of new. He is a true pro and a pleasure to work with, and we are very satisfied with the result. read more

Great service. I bought a used lift for my SF Victorian from Laird Lifts when my elderly mother moved in. They were great throughout the process of installation. They came and did a servicing after a year. I just moved out 3.5 years later and they gave me a fair buyback price and uninstalled it. Using Laird Lift was all around a great experience. read more

It was quick and smooth from the start. Once my family and I decided to have a stair lift installed into my parents' home, I immediately began the search. I came across several businesses but all lacking...something. I happened to have found Laird Lifts on Yelp (with many great reviews). I decided to call, and very glad I did. Noble could not have been any more pleasant and helpful. I am quite sure he was not aware, but he instantly comforted me from the initial conversation. He kindly fit us into his busy schedule quickly. He was kind, attentive, and very detailed. I am confident and glad that it was with him whom I entrusted my parents safety. I am grateful for his experience and skill. Thank you Noble. :) read more

Laird lifts did a fine job with no hassles. They came in with a price that was half of another bid on the job of adding a exterior wheel chair lift to our front porch. He did the work on time, arranged for a cement contractor for our needs. This company was in tome, honest and economical. A very professional job. read more

This was one of the best experiences I've had in years with getting a project done at our house. Noble Laird was amazing. Skilled, knew his product, prompt, caring, and respectful of our needs. I called to get three bids, and by far Noble beat all the others by leaps and bounds. We didn't need a new lift (Mom is 93), and one of the first things Noble said was "I'm a mechanic at heart." That is what we needed! He refurbished a used chair that works like new. In and out in less than two hours (outside lift, 8 stairs straight up). Both times, for the bid and the work, he was on time. Even brought baked goods for mom (she's in love!). Look no further, and hire Noble Laird! read more

Putting in a stair lift is a very important decision. I looked at the options, read the Yelp reviews carefully, and decided to give Laird a chance. Fortunately, I found both a genuine Master of his trade, and a fine human being who did a fantastic job, from beginning to end. Noble Laird spent a lot of time showing me the different chair lifts on the market. We then proceeded with the complex process of planning, selecting, shipping, delivering, assembling, installing, and fine-tuning a wonderfully helpful medical device. Our new chair lift runs perfectly and provides us with day-in and day-out help getting up and down the stairs safely and conveniently. If you are considering the possibility of adding a stair lift to improve your quality of life, I highly recommend that you give Laird a call and get the most fitting device you can find. He will take care of you and get the job done right! read more

We got a chair lift installed that wraps around the rail on a split set of stairs. The installer was knowledgeable, responsive, confident, organized, and seemed dedicated to doing a good job. He even made a last minute improvement, which meant more work for him. I am pleased with the installation and would recommend Laird Lifts read more

Laird is a first rate company. They installed our stairlifts, provided regular servicing and when the time came to uninstall, provided prompt, reliable service. A truly quality company! read more

I normally don't do reviews but I am so impressed with Noble and Kylie, the "creative" couple who came to service my chairlift this afternoon. He looked at the lift and knew immediately what the problem was. They got to work right away. They showed me things about the lift I didn't know. They were trustworthy, friendly, and fun to work with. He fixed things that the original installer didn't bother to do. She cleaned the lift so it looks brand new while he did the mechanical part. They're very pleasant to have around. I fully trust their work. Very reliable. Very punctual. Hopefully I won't need their services again but wouldn't hesitate calling them for help when needed. I highly recommend this company. This a very rare 5-star review because they're worth it. read more

If you are in need of a wheelchair lift for the interior or exterior of your home, do yourself a favor and contact Laird Lifts. Professional, on time, and knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We needed a lift external to my mom's home. Their price was competitive and they even found a used lift that has worked incredibly well for our needs. Do yourself a favor and at least add them to your short list to call before hiring anyone else. read more

I'm not one to write reviews. I think this is my 3rd review in my entire life! But I had to share how grateful I am to Laird Lifts. My 96 year old grandfather was stuck in his house because his stair lift chair was broken and needed a new battery. I must have called a handful of lift companies and either they never responded to my calls, or their price was outrageous. Noble got back to me right away and was able to head over there the next day. He noticed it needed an extra part and so he also returned the following day (having to drive from Oakland to SF). His price was reasonable and he was so nice and responsive. THANKS NOBLE! read more

Our Stiltz Duo Thru-Car elevator installation has just been completed by Laird Lift Company. The equipment is surprisingly complex and very high quality. I was impressed by the quality of the equipment but the quality of the installation was even more than equal. Nobel, who with his assistant installed our lift, gave great attention to every single screw, from making sure he had Loctite on the fasteners to adjustment of the spring force and clearances for various safety interlocks. All the care he exercised gives us confidence we will have long and reliable service. I appreciated that he referred to factory installation manuals to insure he was following directions exactly. (I worked at a laboratory which dealt with manned spacecraft, and the care Nobel uses to assemble the equipment compared favorably with the care used there.) Every single operation had to be done exactly right. The craftsmanship on mundane parts, such as cutting holes for wires in the carpeting in the cab was top drawer. We are proud of the equipment, but also very proud of the quality of the installation. We were most fortunate to have such a caring craftsman, so passionate about his work and its quality, install our Stiltz Lift. I offer my highest recommendation to Laird Lift Company. read more

After getting quotes from two companies, I came across Laird Lifts on craigslist and I am so very glad I did! The installer arrived on time, quickly set up, and got to work. His attention to detail and care while maneuvering through my house really impressed me. The installation was done flawlessly ... by a true craftsman. I'd be happy to speak with anyone who's considering using Laird Lifts. I am beyond thrilled with the chair and the entire transaction. read more

I have been a long time costumer with Laird Lifts and couldn't be happier with my decision to do business with them. I bought my stairlift and received such a reliable and stable product-runs beautifully. I always receive generous and expert service from the technician and owner. And it is always a joy to have them come visit when we have service calls. This company continues to go above and beyond-I accidentally damaged my stairlift and he was out to meet me and get the stairlift running again in the same day I contacted him. So important to me and my family-as I rely on this stairlift heavily for mobility. So happy to do business with Laird Lifts-highly highly recommend! read more

As a long time customer of Laird Lifts, I am proud to say that I am a very satisfied with the work of the business owner. Not only is he very personable and professional, but he is extremely knowledgable as well. Whenever my stairlift needs a tune-up or repair, I always get a prompt response, in fact, there have been a few emergency situations, where the owner was able to walk me through the repair process over the phone. I am a double amputee, needless to say that my stairlift is an absolute necessity. So, I am pleased to know that I can rely on Laird Lifts to keep my stairlift up and going. read more
