I have received fantastic post sale service on my Braun wheelchair van. Their service people have years of experience and they don't rest until that have it right. This is the kind of community minded business that has become a rarity these days and they earn and deserve your business. You won't get this level of customer service out of that national wheelchair van chain. I doubt that they would come close. When you're like me and drive my van from my wheelchair, you cannot afford to have anything go wrong. I trust them completely. read more

I rented a scooter from this place because I have a broken body. I am younger than their average mobility customer (and less grumpy), so I am aware of being overlooked or seen as a "helper" in stores rather than the one who needs the device-- but not here! Me and my invisible disability were treated with respect, they gave clear instructions, had fair prices for both rentals and purchases, and let me practice a couple of times on my new "toy." When I returned the scooter, they came out to my car and helped me wheel it in. Very nice staff who laughed at my jokes-- it's the little things folks! Our 2009 wheelchair van, which we, bought about 6 months ago, had a sliding door issue. We took it to the Dodge dealer, who fixed the door but it caused the ramp to stop working. Dodge was baffled and took the van to Lifestyle Mobility. It turns out we had purchased a wheelchair van that had been modified by a company that no longer exists and had some funky ways of modifying. Dave went ABOVE AND BEYOND to figure out the problem and how to fix it... tracking down a technician across the country who had worked for this company to help him troubleshoot. He was so kind, communicative, and conscientious about getting our van fixed. Additionally, when I picked up the van, he took the time to show me all of the ways to work the ramp and doors, etc. Dave is a gem and I am so grateful to him and his team for their help. read more

I am in a business of medical transportation and recently there was a problem with the ramp and I contacted this company to get it fixed. It took five days to get the appointment and on the specified day they took the van and after an hour they said there is a part which needs to be replace and we have to order for that part. And they charged for one hour which was $170.00 (thats too much for the diagnosis). Got a new appointment after ten days and on the day they took the van and excused that they ordered the wrong part and they have to order it again which took another ten days and on the date they fixed it but they refused to give any discount for the inconvenience and the loss of the business for all those days which the company suffered because of their negligence. read more

If you are needing to sell a wheelchair van after your loved one passes, beware. While David is very nice, his ethics and integrity are questionable. I had a verbal agreement with him to buy my van at a certain price, but he told me he couldn't take possession until a spot opened up on his lot. After a few months, I contacted him as it was coming up on the year anniversary of my husband's passing and this was the last "thing" I needed to complete and wanted him to take the vehicle and, if he wasn't able to, to let me know. He took this opportunity to act like we didn't have an agreement on price and like a true car salesman wanted it for less. I did agree to a lower price because I felt like I had no choice as I wanted to get rid of this van as I couldn't afford to keep it any longer, but did voice my dissappointment in him going back on his word. I have bad knees and live in a 2 story house. My knees hurt after going and down those steep stairs. My mom's neighbor has purchased chair lifts from Lifestyle Mobility over 10 years ago and are super happy with their chair lifts and this company's service.They are a distributor for Bruno chair lifts. I checked online and reviews for Bruno is great and their chair lifts are made in America. I am super happy with their service. They are very professional and made a lot of adjustments to make sure the tract of the chair lift is the best for my stair case. I have a steeper than usual staircase so they actually had to come out twice and have 3 people to push the tract higher so it is in the optimum position for my space. I feel this company has integrity and don't cut corners. They stand behind their quality and want to make you completely satisfied with your purchase. I needed my regular 6 month service inspection on my 2008 Toyota Sienna Braun Ramp Van mobility Equipment. I Found Economy Medical as a Braun Authorized Dealer on line and called to inquire about their service. I found the personnel (Amanda) very personable and knowledgeable both on the phone and in person. I met the service tech (Terry) and David Goodspeed the owner who explained about the service they provide pertaining to the Braun equipment and who should provide the service to our Toyota Sienna Van. Our van was Serviced within the time period booked and we were able to inspect and purchase products they have available on display. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and will definitely return. read more

This is the only place I will take my scooter and lift to be repaired because of the story I am about to relate: I took my lift in to be looked at because the gate did not automatically come up any more, and the platform was bending down. Warren, the guy assigned to my lift did some research and found that I was sent the wrong weight size. We ordered a 350lb and they sent a 150lb lift. How would we know, right! He handled all the conversations with the company we purchased it from, and the manufacturer. In the office Amanda took it from there and helped me talk to the warranty people. She also took pictures and sent it over so the warranty people could see. I'm still working out the problem with spinlife.com, but the people at Economy Medical really helped to make the process streamline for me. And they don't even work on this brand of lift. Thanks Economy for making this serious problem easy to get through. Now I just have to see how spinlife.com handles it. read more

I went in to purchase a lift for my SUV. My Son was with me. I told Todd I was getting a donation from M.S. Society so I needed it right away as well as me. Todd never got back to me. I called several times with no response. I even called the owner David and he never returned my call. I guess they don't need my business. They could of least called me back. this company is a scam. i made an appt to get compression stockings for sports. They told me they carried both white and black, when i get there all they have is sheer, so I decided not to buy them. That is until the front desk lady says my insurance company will pay for them! She tells me i pay the 100 dollars, then they bill the insurance company and i will get a check back in the mail. Well after weeks of not getting anything, they finally inform me they don't take my insurance.they wont do a refund or any type of compensation for their mistake. Pure scam! DO NOT GO TO. read more

When my husband and I had a exterior wheelchair lift that decided to crack one day, on that day they were able to take a look at it and help us get a replacement part right away . We were grateful that they were able to accommodate our needs quickly. Also they're inside shop has several accessories that are often hard to come by, for people with disability. After calling a few other, closer, Braun/RampVan repair locations, (the guy in Oakland is a jerk and will rob you blind) I called Economy Medical. I talked to Michelle who is just amazing. Their prices are totally fair. $110 per hour, and they will prorate if work does not take a full hour. My friend has a Toyota Scion with an automatic ramp in the back that has been causing problems lately. I brought the car in once for diagnostics and they figured out that it had a bad switch. One week later once the part came in, I brought the car back for the repair. They were done before I even knew it in less than an hour! The ramp works perfectly! No more manual override for this girl! Best shop, best people ever! read more

We have been doing business with Economy for a number of years servicing my wife's van with never a problem. However, we started having issues with the drop down ramp and brought it to Economy for repair. Needless to say, I have had there four different times (each time paying close to $200 each time). We finally thought we had it fixed. However, it went out again and was doing the same exact thing each time. We notified Economy of the problem and that we were well within the 90 days warranty. We were then told by the owner/service manager that it was not covered. I am very disappointed by this response and will no longer do business with them and recommend anyone watch out. read more

Last year we ordered another custom van for my sister's handicap that she totally loves. I have always found them to be very accomodating and pricing to be realistic.
