I recently visited a small burger joint, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The burgers are absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender with amazing flavor. The highlight of my meal, though, were the seasoned fries--crispy and packed with flavor, they were the perfect complement to the burger. I wasn't planning on ordering a drink, but a local shared that drafts are half-priced on Thursdays, so I had to give it a try, and it was a great deal! Even though the location is small, the vibe is welcoming, and the food more than makes up for it. Conner took great care of me while August worked his magic in the kitchen, cooking up the most delicious food to perfection. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. It's clear that this place has a solid team, and it shows in the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. I walked out and once I was behind the building, I gave it the old "Ehh!" gesture by brushing my hand in the direction of the place. That signaled the end of my quarter-year patronage. A few months later, I was at a different eating establishment on the other side of town. And one of the employees from Lulu's walked in and said: "So you're not getting hotdogs tonight, huh?" I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe it. First off, they were closed at the time, and secondly, I don't appreciate scraggly surprises in my food. (Now to be fair, the place I was in that night ALSO gave me a fuzzy memory to last a lifetime, but that's beside the point.) So if you decide to go here, make it a regular haunt, then suddenly stop going for three months, they'll stalk you and mock your new culinary preferences. Or maybe it was just me they did that to. Regardless, I haven't been back and it's been over ten years.
