Burned and undercooked "hashbrowns" .

Poached canned salmon and undercooked burnt hashbrowns. Reba was the inattentive server who didn't seem to care about a single top. Never asked how the food was, no drink refill offers, instead the table beside me got 7 mins of local gossip that I really didn't want to know about. I get Chad cheated on his wife, but there's a reason he's a chad and I'm eating at McGill something. First and last time at this establishment. Maybe if you are local and a foreigner they will provide stellar service. This was just horrible. Oh yeah. Make sure you ask for your check. Waited another 20 mins on that. Just walk up to the register and it will make them pay attention if they forgot you. The students behind the bar should help Reba out more if she can't handle a one top.

This place is so cute and definitely seems like the best traditional style breakfast in the area. We came on a Saturday around brunch time, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait for the four of us, but we ended up being sat within 10. We got a great seat right by the window, at the front, which was nice because the restaurant is pretty hot. The service was fast and great, I tried the English muffin breakfast sandwich, which was so tiny for $11, even smaller than my fist. I also tried the French toast because it sounded so unique and interesting, so I got a side of it, it was Really good. - more like a fried roll with crunchy crust then your traditional slice of French toast but it was really good and the syrup was so yummy. My friend got an order of french fries and they were unexpectedly delicious and good quality, we also really liked the bloody Mary we got (although we wish it had come with bacon) My other friend really liked his margarita salad, we loved that it came with a salt rim on the bowl too! Totally would come back my next time in crested Butte !

The food here is just what you want on a hungover morning. it is delicious and there are lots of options. bloody mary is a 7/10 we wanted just a bit more spice - olives were great though

Wonderful late breakfast! Friendly staff! Amazing biscuit! $4.50 for a cup of drip a little outrageous even with free refills...

CABS sandwich, green chili soup, fries

Food was delicious! They are known for breakfast but don't sleep on the lunch. CABS sandwich (Chipotle mayo, avocado, bacon & spinach on sourdough) was legit. Had a cup of the spicy green chili and had great flavor. Cowboy chocolate chip cookie was amazing as well. Don't think you can go wrong here. Service was friendly.

Makes sense why this place was packed, besides it being a breakfast joint during a major holiday, the food was exceptional, both mine and my partner's meals were delicious and cooked almost perfectly. Friday stay as well. We could use more cute places like this in Boulder!

The ambiance gets a 5 star, because of the interior Diner like decor & friendly/professional staff. I was satisfied with the welcome I received, considering we are a minority family & "received many stares by many tourists." Perhaps, brown people are not the usual tourists able to afford establishments in Crestted Butte? Anyway, I got that off my chest & getting back to the review. The quality of ingredients can be improved, lees grease & fat. More flavor, lacking simple salt & pepper. Portions were well balanced & quantity served was perfect. Would I return, well the food I found too bland in my opinion so perhaps not. But again, I'm used to quality while living here in Las Vegas, where the hospitality industry excells on many levels.

Came in for breakfast before the 24th annual Mt. Created Butte Chili and Beerfest, we needed a good base of some great food and found the spot! The French toast was unique and amazing, super crispy and the standard Benedict was perfect. Thank you for an awesome meal and quick service!

About a 5 min wait on a Saturday morning during Spring Break. Not bad. You can tell they get busy though. Breakfast burritos with green chilli was awesome.

We were in Mt Crested Butte, an amazing…read moremountain town with an adorable downtown dotted with great dining. 212 Elk Ave is the location of the aptly named 212 restaurant. They specialize in live fire cooking and we were lucky enough to get a booth right across from the action as you will see in the pics. They use a mix of red and white oak to control the heat along with a series of movable grill plates. We started with a delicious Strawberry Salad that also had watermelon radish and delicate greens lightly tossed in a vinaigrette. Coming from Arizona, I had to try the Pozole and thrilled I did. The rich red broth gave light to the chili heart of this very complex liquid. The pozole had great texture and the shredded pork was tender and outstanding. An excellent example of this favorite dish. The most amazing entree was the main course. It was a shareable Half Elk Rack. While I like medium rare, when it was brought to the table, I thought it might be too rare. As soon as I tasted it, I realized it was perfection. It was so tender and the chew was great, especially on the end pieces that had an incredible bark on the outside. Elk is an extremely lean dish so to add some unctuous notes, they take Fois Gras, and as the fat renders, add huckleberries before putting it in a blender to create a heavenly base. We couldn't resist dragging every bite across the serving plate to savor the magic. As a side dish, we ordered the squash which was also perfectly roasted over the live fire and complimented the dish.

I liked how it actually had N/A liquor in it. My husband got the SECRET GARDEN - loved the lavender earl gray. For a starter, we split the BAHN MI QUAIL - super inventive, never had quail before. Kind of hard to eat around the small bones but loved the stuffed flavors! For dinner, we shared two dishes: ELK SAUSAGE & PEPPERS PASTA and PORK CHOP. The pasta was very so-so, nothing that blew me away. However, the pork chop was super tasty - loved the sauce. For dessert, we shared limoncello sorbet - perfect amount of refreshing and loved the fun strawberry powder! Our server was super nice and attentive. Really nice experience overall!

We loved our meal at The Breadery The Flamin' Pickle Martini was out of this world. Hands down one of my all time favorite drinks. There is a kick, but it's not overpowering, same with the pickle flavor. It was top notch. We started out with a few types of the sourdough. They came out hot and perfectly baked. Highly recommend you order the special sourdough of the day (whatever it is, it will be amazing) and to try some of the spreads (if you like beets, you need the beat goat cheese spread). I ordered the spaghetti and added meatballs. The noodles were amazing, the sauce was perfect, and the meatballs added a nice touch. The patio was gorgeous, and the food was my favorite meal I had while visiting Crested Butte! I was amazed at how quickly we were helped, especially considering them being short staffed on top of them hosting a wedding party. I mostly wanted to leave a review because our server (I believe his name was Daniel) was incredible. As somebody who works in food service, it can feel like a lot of pressure to tend to each guest, but he was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire meal! I asked him for a recommendation between 2 brews I was deciding on, and even after I said I trusted his judgment, he STILL brought me both options for me to try, so that I could decide for myself. He recommended we also add the cheese fondue for the pretzel we got as an appetizer, and I would trust the man with my life... lol. I experienced firsthand how wonderful of a server he was, and was absolutely appalled by the treatment he received from the guests at the table next to us. I understand things happen and communication can be difficult when there's so much going on, but they were giving the server a hard time when they received a drink they supposedly hadn't ordered. The server was able to get it removed from their bill, and it seemed like it had been handled politely and quickly. Not long after I saw their food arrive, I watched one of the guests complain about something... Daniel immediately took it back to the kitchen to fix it, but as he walked away I noticed the group of men laughing at him. While Daniel remained patient, and did everything he could to satisfy them, it was incredibly disheartening to see somebody so kind, who'd been working incredibly hard, be treated the way he was. It seemed to me as though they were finding humor in making him run around. While I like to assume best intent, watching them laugh as he addressed their concerns and rushed to fix them made me feel as though they'd done so on purpose. Daniel took it like a champ, and still continued to check in with us throughout the meal. I hope Bruhaus knows how grateful myself and so many others are, to be served by such kind people! THANK YOU

Try the charred sweet potatoes; indescribably delicious. As are the grilled Brussels sprouts with a crispy outer layer of fried leaves with the firm veggies fresh and still juicy at the center. Nice wine list; we had a delicious Malbec. My fiancée and I ordered the waitress to split for us the big ribeye, 18 ounces, medium rare. It came served with impossibly thin, impossibly dry and crispy string potatoes made in the kitchen. It could not have been better, it couldn't have been more tender, more flavorful, and there was so much meat that we took a very generous to-go box home. The Manager, Jonathan, came by our table 2 or three times, checking on this, making sure everything was great, and it was. Including his warm attitude and friendliness! A young man approached our table and offered to pack up the delicious food left over, which he did while engaging in delightful conversation. He said he was from Southern India; his name is SAI. He's clean-cut, courteous and efficient; he was the icing on the cake as far as the staff is concerned. This was a buss person with a career in hospitality ahead of him. We will return time and time again; this is a great restaurant. Free parking, very fresh salads, outstanding steaks and service that leaves nothing undone. A true 5- star eating experience.

The gazpacho was top notch, fresh and had bright color and flavor. My wife's filet was cooked perfectly with great texture on outside and tender on the inside. I ordered the Colorado lamb sirloin. It was hard to cut through...was it the slightly tough texture or the non-serrated knife (asked for serrated, restaurant did not have)? I think a little of both. I ordered the chimichurrie to go with the lamb. It came in a cute white ceramic vessel shaped a little like an hourglass with an narrow waist and flared bottom and top. At the top, you could see bright green liquid oil without any of the obvious other chunky ingredients of chimichurri. Ahh, you might think that the next step would be to stir it with a small spoon (often paired with the traditional small ramekin of chimichurri)... alas, no small utensils, just our dinnerware. Not only that, but I generously thought that this fine establishment fully intended to present this as their new twist on chimichurri. Not wanting to complain, I sheepishly drizzled the green oil onto my lamb and made the best of it. Only on my last bites of lamb did I discover belatedly that the dressing had separated and discovered the bright greens and garlic layered densely at the bottom. Two take home messages. Future diners: remember to shake the chimi! Elk Ave Prime: if you are going to charge $7 for a sauce, improve your execution so your customers can fully appreciate your culinary skills.
