This was okay. I want to give 3 stars but feel that is harsh since the food was good. Just not great. The speed of the woman at the register was very slow. Between taking orders, she'd go and chat with other employees behind the counter. I never order bowls but decided to try a Canyon bowl, since it was the smoothie that I planned to order but with the addition of granola, banana, cacao nibs and walnuts. This was mostly granola and not enough of the smoothie, for my taste. There were also chunks of banana that were not puréed. I wish I'd gotten the smoothie but no regrets as you don't know if you don't try it! I just know that going forward, if I returned, I'd get a smoothie. My husband got iced coffee and said it was okay. He and my son got the turkey avocado wrap. It was pretty small but sufficient to satisfy their hunger. I did also get their energy bites and they were delicious. I'd recommend these.
Perfect balance of nourishing foods and delicious pastries. Enjoy this casual local spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. The ladies at the counter were also very sweet!
On our tour through Colorado THIS was the best breakfast. I am sorry I didn't get the names, but I had (essentially) a BLT breakfast sandwich and my wife had your classic egg, bacon & cheese. We both had them on jalapeño bagels. The chia was REAL (if you're a chai person you know what I mean). Ordering is walk up and they also have an ordering POS system if you know to look for it. Service was quick. The shop is cute with seating inside and out.
This breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. They have everything you could imagine - smoothies, acai, sandwiches, bowls, burritos, etc. the vibes are incredible, service is fast. I would definitely come here again, I'll be dreaming about my breakfast bowl for forever
Certainly one of the healthier establishments I've been to but did not disappoint. Ordered smoothies and grabbed a quick protein bar to-go. No complaints about service, it was quick. Location is about 15-minutes from the hot springs.
Place is clean, organized and the workers were nice. The Rancher breakfast burrito was 5/5 amazing. The Açaí bowl was 5/5 amazing. Bigger than I expected and had great Add-ons for a good price. The drip coffee was not that good. The oatmeal giant cookie was terrible but not made here. It was made by La Belle French Bakery. I would highly recommend this place for a burrito or Smoothie or Açaí bowl!
Why 4 stars? Because my breakfast and coffee hit the spot. --- --- --- We were staying at Mount Princeton resort and in need of coffee. I can't bring myself to drink hotel room, brewed coffee, so we headed into town and scored our caffeine from The Blend. Truthfully, was it that much better than Folgers from an old CoffeeMate? I don't know for sure, but I certainly didn't hate my drip coffee. It tasted like a good umpire at a baseball game: I didn't notice it. And that's what you need in a black coffee, and someone officiating a sports game. I also did something I almost never do and ordered breakfast. As a diligent faster, I usually don't eat anything until late in the afternoon, but on vacation, there are no rules. I ordered the Eddy, which was essentially a lox bagel sandwich. And it did the job. The Blend is definitely a solid option for anyone staying at Mount Princeton and it might be the closest physical restaurant away, at about 11 miles door-to-door.
I went to this coffee shop in Buena Vista for the first time today and had a very pleasant experience. The shop is very conveniently located right on Main Street about a block from Highway 24, has plenty of free parking nearby, is nicely decorated on the outside and inside, I was greeted upon entering the cafe, they have a nicely done electronic menu (about 4' x 4') right above the counter with simple, organized sections of the food & beverage items they sell, lots of delicious looking danishes, muffins, cookies, etc., enclosed behind a glass counter, the employee taking my order was pleasant, friendly and efficient, my medium roast coffee with caramel syrup was excellent (they had stevia), as was my blueberry muffin, and chicken salad wrap that I got for lunch at lunchtime, the dining room had adequate seating, some with padded seating and was clean, my order were served promptly, they had free WiFi that worked great, and the restroom (one) was clean and did not smell.

I was so excited to try their food but am really disappointed instead. I got The Hummus and was met with literal dirt in my food that I couldn't fully get off. The micro greens were not cleaned as they look like it was just plucked from the ground. The red onion outer layer should have been peeled off as well. It was just very unappetizing for me. Not a very good first impression. Do not recommend. read more

Love love loved our breakfast here. The prices were very reasonable for downtown BV. My husband and I split a hot dirty chai, açaí bowl, and potatoes breakfast bowl which was the perfect amount of food and left us feeling healthy and not like we had overeaten. The inside of the breakfast place itself was also very cute! We ended up sitting outside in the back patio. The açaí bowl came in a to go cup and was piled with granola, honey and fruit. The potato bowl was a tad small but probably the correct proportion of what we should be eating for breakfast. The mix of cheese, bacon and tomatoes was delicious! read more

Very cute place. You order at the counter and then they call your name when it is ready. Large variety of spreads for bagels. They also have lunch items. I had the chicken salad croissant and it was great. One of the best croissants I have had in a while. My mom had the honey almond spread and loved it! read more

Small menu and not much indoor seating (though there's outdoor space), but delicious food! Coffee was good, but not great. We got one of the egg bowls and a bagel with cream cheese. Worth dropping by if you're in BV! read more

Tasty vegan tacos with perfect amount of beans, avocado & eggs. Chai latte paired well with the chocolate croissant which was soft and delicious. Blueberry muffin was great too. Stopped by 3 times on this trip. Will definitely return next time. read more

I ate breakfast here every morning of my 4 day trip to Buena Vista. The 5th Wheel bagel sandwich (add hot honey) and the smoothies were SO GOOD! The bagels are light and fluffy and not super dense or chewy. I also loved all the options for add ins to the smoothies like protein powder, collagen, etc. Hope to be back someday! read more
The Blend is worthy of a visit while visiting Buena Vista! It was the perfect place to get some grub that would fuel us for our mountain biking adventure that morning. The restaurant has a bunch of offerings: Coffee & Tea, Smoothies/Smoothie Bowls, Bagels, Breakfast Bowls, Burritos, and Quesadillas. Inside, the restaurant isn't super big, but there's definitely a few tables to enjoy your drinks/meal. For food, we ordered The Spicy Pig Bagel Sandwich and a Rancher Burrito. Both of them were amazing!! The Spicy Pig Bagel had big pieces of ham, egg, a generous amount of spicy cream cheese! I love cream cheese so I was really happy to see that they put a huge amount on the bagel! The jalapeño bagel was really good, you could definitely taste the bits of jalapeño.. yum! The Rancher Burrito had egg, bacon, chorizo, cheese, and green chile. All of these ingredients made for a bomb-diggity-dee burrito. The ratio for all the ingredients was perfect and every bite was so good. Despite there being a huge line out the door, the service was great and the food came out very quickly! Head over to this restaurant if you want an awesome breakfast before your adventures in BV! read more
