I read the reviews & still went. Why did I do such a thing??? Lesson learned. The drive thru was EXTREMELY slow & long. After 20+ minutes waiting in line, we finally got to the speaker to order. We ordered & the girl taking the order was RUDE!!! We blew that off & when we got to the 2nd window, we saw why they were slow. The girls inside getting the orders together were lollygagging, playing around, and cursing at each other. Then there seemed to be an argument & then one young lady asked the manager to put her in the back. ??? While all this was going on, we were being handed food that was cold & wrong along with the wrong drinks. We asked doe Hi-C orange & we were given orange Fanta. They started arguing about that. We also ordered a watermelon strawberry slush & they handed it to us dripping all over the place and coming out the top. It was an all around MESS!! Incredibly slow service. Sat in the drive thru line for over 45 minutes on a Wednesday evening around 8:30pm. It was taking them 10-15 minutes per car to serve the orders. If I hadn't already ordered through the app for pickup and already paid, I would've left. Absolutely terrible. read more

Two of us ordered pretty simple meals. At the window they handed a bag full of food to us that wasn't what we ordered. I had to open stuff up to double-check the burgers of course, so then when I handed it back to them I did tell her I touched one and she said "oh you touched it??" Like it makes any difference, because they should not serve it to someone else once it's gone out the window and come back. I've worked food service before. Been here for the year for school, we frequent this McDonalds and have never had a good experience from being food poisoning to waiting an hour. No good McDonalds in the Williamsburg area, I would just skip. My experience tonight looked like ordered 3 things half cut tea, fries, plain mckicken. The woman was unable to figure out how to ring in drink so she told me to go ahead and pull to window so I did. She stood there on her phone at the window for 5-7 minutes and kept walking back and fourth. Finally she got to me, asked if I had the tea.. she never rang in the other things even though she repeated my whole order back to me, so that took more time, then gave total I gave her a app code she didn't know how to do that, and took more time- we finally got it. Get to food window(was also with friend who placed mobile order) they give her food, missing her nuggets, had to talk to 3 people to get her nuggets. From what the reviews have said, I think we're experiencing this McDonald's on a good day (still in line as I review) but waited 10 minutes in drive thru - we were two cars deep - before giving our order. The woman taking our order kept cancelling and re-inputting order items and asking again what our order was. We made sure to check the digital receipt before driving on. Still in line, so I'll pause to see if we get everything in our order correct and warm... Ok, 6 minutes later and we have made it to the payment window. Lady was a bit unpleasant, but probably on account of everyone else coming to the window being annoyed. Waiting now for food... 3 minutes later...we're here! Food came out after 1 minute, warm. Had to confirm our order. Waited 2 minutes for us to be told they couldn't give us our smoothies. We asked for refund and have now had to pull forward to wait for our money to come back. The woman who did refund our money did it extremely fast though. All in all, definitely one star. The drive thru sign is ironic. read more

I'm very confused on how this McDonald's is still in business. I really hate to give 1 star but there is really no other way to rate these experiences. I came 2 times the past two weeks for ice cream. I know what you're thinking, it's probably broken anyways why bother? Well I was really craving and didn't feel driving 20+ minutes to go anywhere else. The first time there were a few cars ahead of me in the drive thru and they all ended up pulling off. This drive thru has two different ordering lanes. I got to the ordering speaker and waited 10 minutes. Employees were coming out to throw away trash and saw the cars but no one ever asked to take my order. I said hello a few times with no response. The second time the same occurred. There were already employees standing outside the back door carrying on conversations. Again waited 10 minutes with no help from anyone. You could tell people were getting aggravated waiting. I don't understand how a manager hasn't addressed that no one is answering/taking orders in the drive thru. This time I was stuck as there was a car in front of me and behind me. Please avoid this McDonald's at all cost . This one is horrible. I ordered on the app, thinking it would make things quicker. I waited over 20 mins in the "drive up" spot, then eventually became impatient and wondered what was going on. So I went through the drive thru, another mistake. Waited 5 more mins for the person on the speaker to assist me. Then waited in the drive thru line for another 18 mins for my food. I'm not exaggerating times, I kept track! I get the food industry is struggling right now, but omg.. I would of cancelled my order, but I couldn't figure out how to do it on the app I will say the gentleman who actually gave me my food did apologize and he was polite, compared to the person taking orders. read more

Lot of staff up front, slow service, milkshake maker always seems broken which was why I came in to order and staff were not very courteous. After waiting several minutes for my order, called out my food item instead of the number and just said "that's your frozen drink" that had been sitting there. Then all the counter staff loudly groaned when two families came in. Will not return. In contrast, the McDonsld's manager on Route 5 has nice staff, more efficient and if you wait too long, they apologize and may give you a free cookie. read more

I went to McDonalds because it look like it was the only thing around at the time. I could have gone to starbucks. They had the 2 for 4 dollar deal for breakfast. I got it. You have to take a number and enter it into the machine and my order ended up being as they were confused and for them they say it happens all the time.
