Rolled in for lunch on a road trip and immediately noticed the star rating. Lowest I have ever seen for a McDonalds which honestly made me curious. Ordered on the app and scored fifty percent off which set the tone nicely. They even delivered our Happy Meal and spicy chicken crunch wrap right to the table. Table service at McDonalds. Wildomar came to impress. Then came the drink situation. We ordered a blue frozen drink for my daughter. They brought out a red one. This is not a mistake you want to make with a seven year old who knows exactly what she ordered and has no hesitation about escalating to management. A miniature Karen in training but with better ethics. To their credit they fixed it fast. Blue drink delivered. Peace restored. The world continued to function. My crunch wrap was unsalvageable, I ate it like a charcuterie board, as the following describes this... menu item: * No cheese even though the menu promised cheese * Paid extra for Roma tomato and received one mashed sliver plus a sad end piece * Lettuce chopped like someone was racing the clock * Tortilla far too large for the tiny amount of filling * Added bacon for an upcharge and got something closer to jerky * Chicken was the star but served cold like it had taken a detour through the fridge There were bright spots. There were low points. There was a child ready to unionize over beverage color accuracy. Overall a solid two and a half stars. Not the worst road trip stop. Not the best. I have three McDonald's locations that I often visit, however this review is for the Wildomar Clinton Keith facility. This McDonald's is clean, well maintained with friendly staff to help you. I don't use the drive through myself, but it seems to move quickly enough. My only gripe is that this location has recently removed the soft drink dispensers, so if you want a custom blend of beverages or simply a refill, you have to now stand in line at the counter until a staff member is free to get your drink. This is annoying and a classic case of a merchant attempting to fix something that was not broken. This makes me less likely to spend my money here when there is another McDonald's I visit that has not eliminated their soft drink station. A four star experience overall but they lose one star for the soft drink issue. read more

This McDonald's ceases to amaze me on how many times they have screwed up our order or how long I've had to wait for my order to come out! Don't even get me started on the ketchup!! I don't get how hard it is to add ketchup and napkins to someone's big order and when asking for it you get the instant eye roll! Man, they were doing so well too. Unfortunately we got really sick for the whole night and half of the next day after eating what looks like a week old but probably just from earlier that day or some thing burger. It was cold it looked really bad but I just figured hey it's McDonald's whatever. Are usually don't get their cheeseburgers. That's where we messed up! Nuggets fries were fresh ice cream was fine. That burger though was suspect and the only people that got sick were the two people that took half of it each. So I would say since I've had such amazing experiences with your staff just make sure that they know to not try to slide by without making a burger. I had meetings today and I did not need to go through this just to eat at a fast food spot. I'll try to get in touch with Manager since they don't pick up the phone and it went to voicemail. I know how the food industry could be but this was totally avoidable. The burger and even the wrapping looks like crap. I placed a mobile order for breakfast and it went through and took my payments and of course there are other people in line ordering so by the time I get to the window it's past 1030 and they refuse to give me my food and I have a paid receipt and they claim I'll get refunded but there's no proof of refund. I do not trust this place and never ordered here again I ordered ice coffee with add on expresso shot at this place a few times. The first time it was tasted fine. The second time it was tasted like plain ice coffee without expresso. This time I order ice coffee with an expresso shot added again. I watched carefully via the window the whole time. The female worker took an empty large plastic cup and pour in cream, Splenda, ice and then coffee. There was no time and expresso shot was added. There was a male coworker she gave a paper cup. When I got the iced coffee it tasted like no espresso. She said she did put it in and then turned to a young female coworker which I never saw the whole time and asked - the female worker nodded her head and walked away. TLDR: This is a fine McDonald's and I'd come back. I know, that doesn't sound that hyped but I've had some pretty bad experiences with McD's getting the order right or being served lukewarm food. I bag on McD's a LOT on Yelp, and with good reason. But I've stopped by here during various times when in need of a hot, fast meal and I've not been disappointed. For example the breakfast I ordered at this location came out reasonably quickly, and it was fresh! (Well, as fresh as McD's gets.) That plus a reasonably clean dining area puts it in the top 10% of this chain as far as I'm concerned. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. I feel sorry for the people who work here because they are dealing with issues out of their control. For example, the drive- thru menu board has been burnt to a crisp forever now. As it just twitches and malfunctions the employee taking the orders are having to take more time to answer questions about the menu. If you don't already know what you want or care about the prices then order online or go inside. Now with this extra chaos you have to drive around and wait for your food. Now I order the most basic stuff for 2 people and I'm still given a post it note with a number and sent to a parking stall. The food is the typical McDonald's food and it's nasty so that's my fault for expecting a miracle. Now that I pick up orders from here it's terrible! The service is always slow like a bunch of chess pieces trying to move around while stuck In molasses. Communication with the staff and customers is a 50/50 chance on if you'll get a chance to see anyone work the front counter. You can forget curbside pickup or waiting for an order in the drive thru. Every location I've seen customer waiting in the parking lot for an order for at leave 30 minutes with every employee ignoring the drive thru customer waiting on the rest of their order.
