I realize that McDonald's really cant be compared to anything other than itself, so I am giving this place two stars compared to other McDonald's locations. The restaurant was dirty and tables were covered in crumbs and sticky spills. The bathroom had toilet paper thrown all over the floor and had an industrial-size roll of toilet paper just sitting on the back of my toilet (not in a dispenser...) I got two $1 cheeseburgers and a small fry. Cashier was friendly but did get my order wrong - thankfully he repeated it and it got corrected. Fries were anemic and lacked much flavor compared to the amazing fries we all know and love. BF ordered and paid for a side salad, only to be told a few minutes later that they havent served salads in "a long time." They let him replace it with chicken tenders, which had a super weird texture that almost tasted undercooked, despite the correct cooked chicken color. I would definitely avoid this location. read more

Where to begin? Only reason why I gave 2 star, was because the young lady working the drive thru was nice. Ok, here's how it is here. You go through the drive thru around 10:30 pm, You order one thing, they put it into the computer correctly and then screw up the order. Yep, they give you what you didn't order. I guess it was my fault though. Last time I ordered a hamburger with only ketchup, and that's exactly what I got. Buns and ketchup. No meat, just a hamburger bun with ketchup... and they offer these idiots $16 an hour! read more

I should have read the reviews before coming to this McDonald's. I understand I'm ordering at a fast food chain; however, usually McDonald's doesn't have this bad of customer service. We ordered our food through the app and were given the option to pick up at the window. No one answered the drive thru speaker so I pulled up to the window. I could clearly see there were people in there but they were not there when I approached the window (maybe trying to hide). After circling around a few times they said that they were closed. I don't know if that was actually the case, but if it was why wouldn't they just let me know over the drive thru speaker the first time. Pretty unprofessional to me. read more

I'd give no stars if i could, this place is trash. I ordered a 10 pc nugget meal and a big mac. Both the nuggets and burger tasted like mold. Service was trash too the cashier at the first window was on her phone the entire time with her back turned and the service was slow enough people were leaving. We waited for 20 minutes just after paying for us to get our food. On top of already waiting 10mins for someone to be ready to take our order. A worker was sleeping, sitting at a dining table near the bathrooms. Not a good look. The worker who took my order needed to gain customer service skills and be more nice and personable. This Mcdonald's was short-staffed since no one was operating the register consistantly. She would disappear to the back and then pop up again at the front counter register while customers were standing around looking at the ceiling, waiting to be acknowledged and served. Customers seemed to wait more than what is expected at a fast-food restaurant. read more

SLOW. They took 15 minutes to make a sausage biscuit, a bacon, egg and cheese McMuffin and a iced French vanilla late. They gave me every thing but the latte telling me that they were still working on it. I waited an additional 5 minutes... nothing. I waited another 5 minutes... NOTHING. Usually, you get what you pay for. I get it. It's McDonalds - but their customer service today was rather rude and uncalled for. As my husband and I were waiting for the rest of our order at the window, the food handler opened the door with a very random attitude of "Do you need something?" It was rather offputting. We mentioned we didn't have the rest of our food, and they didn't believe us. The handler called I think his manager as a young woman came to the window. She asked for the receipt, so we gave it to her. She annoyedly told us to pull forward to wait for them to bring the rest of our food out. My husband said no, and that he just wanted the last part of our order so we could go. She argued with him briefly and then stormed off. The food handler came back and gave us the last part of our food without even saying a word. I get my husband was being annoying by not complying to what they wanted him to do, so they could proceed to get more orders - but the uncalled for attitude really made me hesitant to ever want to go back to this location. read more

My kids and I came in for a quick snack at 3:30 pm. We ordered at the self service machine in the front. 2 drinks a ice cream cone and McFlurry. The burgers are $1 menu so you can't complain about it. They gave me the wrong cup size not the end of the world since they are the same size. The ice cream and two burgers took about 10 min to come out a bit long figuring we are the only customers in the store. My recommendation is to higher nicer staff and pay them enough to care. My family stopped here for a quick and cheap lunch before we hit the road. Took my kids to use the restroom which looked like someone threw toilet paper all over the place. Yikes! My kids don't like pickles in their cheeseburgers so we always order them without, which means they make them fresh and label which ones have no pickle. We got in our van to hit the road and I realized I had one of my kids burgers with the "no pickle" label. Told them to stop eating so we could trade, and out of the 5 burgers they all had pickles and the ones labeled no pickle were not extra hot, which means out of pure laziness they put "no pickle" labels on burgers sitting in the warmer instead of making them fresh and made to order. Not sure why but the cost of the food is more than Murrieta location. For example I ordered a Sausage cheese Mc griddle no egg and in Murietta it's less than three dollars while in Temecula it's close to five dollars and they couldn't give me a reason why it cost more I say is highway robbery. read more

This is to inform the owner of what I believe to be common practice at this facility. Everything ordered today was cold. Sitting around waiting to be ordered. My drink, flat with little chunks of ice left from melting. Little droplets of sweat on the outside of the cup. Called and talked to the manager, " once I realized driving north on the 15" and topical bring it back or get a refund. So easy to say from a person who is stationary. Just don't get it. I told her it's her fault for not paying attention to the so called quality control. She said "MY FAULT" Yes! Your the manager! She disagreed and repeated the the get out of jail free card. The buy helping me looked like he didn't want to be there and was just trying to rush me to finish ordering. This has to be the worse location that I have ever been too. The service was horrible, and the fries were just as bad. I understand that McDonald's can be very busy at times but the drive through wasn't that busy to get this type of service. After ordering just some fries and a Coke, we had to wait 12 minuets just to move up 2 cars for us to pay. Then when we get there to pay we were told that our order was not ready so if could move forward and park and they will bring out our order to us. 13 mins go by before they bring out our order. 25 mins for fries and a Coke. We were coming back from dinner and decided to used the drive-thru for some coffee. It's hard to imagine a place where at least one Starbucks isn't open late, but we haven't found it yet in Temecula. It many ways that's the draw of living here and not in a bigger city; which we like. The service was fast and the coffee piping hot. Came here to grab some OJ and a hashbrown. They are so good are they not? Anyway this location is quick, the drive thru has a lot of room, and everyone seemed in good spirits. I would love to rate the food but without any exaggeration of the 4 times I went over the last year, it's been closed for grill cleaning. I work late into the night so I have only been able to go between midnight and 1am. Because of the limited options that late, I keep trying to get a Big Mac. I gave it 2 stars only because when I finally decided to call and complain, the manager (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was very apologetic and promised to escalate my complaint up. Thank you to her. My advice is take down the HUGE sign facing the freeway that says open 24 hours and turn the drive thru open sign off if you can't make burgers at specific times. read more

We have been coming to this McDonalds for a couple of years but our visit yesterday was the worst yet. At 10:45 am we ordered off the lunch menu to find that they were out of nuggets, and kind of milk and they informed us that the buttermilk chicken crispers weren't available until the 1st of the year. We finalize we're able to order once we found things that were actually available. Got to the window to pay and heave then 3 gift cards and cash for the remaining balance. She gave us the gift card back because she used the cash first and then swiped the gift cards, most people know to use the cash last but apparently here! Got to the food window and they tried to give us happy meal boxes that weren't closed. My husband asked if she could close them since we were traveling and she said she would try. Waited 20 minutes to end up having my wife called a "f-n whore" in Spanish by their manager. Food was awful. Called corporate and received $2.00 coupon for breakfast biscuits.
