Place seems clean. Ordered at counter (I refuse to use the self serve touch screens). The employee gave me a number to set at the table (then someone brings food to table). She did not and it wasn't until another employee said our order had been sitting up at the counter (it was rung up as "to-go", and no offer from the employee to bring it out). After picking up the food, the fries cooled off. I told them back for fresh ones and explained that our food had sat up here, and that seemed to be an odd request. Have a 7 hour drive downstate and wanted something fast, missing 13$ of food from our bags but we were already on the bridge too late to turn around. Also requested mustard and pickles off the quarter pounder but of course they didn't do that. Looked like it was take your kid to McDonald's day in that building. My son and I did the drive-thru on 2 different evenings during our time in Saint Ignace. Both times the $15 orders were right and the Food was hot. That's a win-win for any McDonald's! Large parking lot, friendly staff and a great view of the Mighty Mac. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Not only did they forget multiple items in our order, they charged us for items they could not provide. The items they could provide tasted like straight cheeks. Furthermore, they could not even supply toliet paper and had actual napkins in the bathroom. The dining area was destroyed, they was not a single clean table. Literal barnyard. Really contemplated taking a steaming dump in the corner to add to the ambiance. That might all be excusable had the staff been friendly. We witnessed them rudely turn away a woman with cash, the employee stating "I'm not up here for you" before walking away without saying anything further. We could also actively hear fighting in the kitchen amongst staff, even loudly complaining about customers. When we approached them about our forgotten items, they were short and then proceeded to forget half our items AGAIN. Items were repeated back to us just to have half of them brought out. We eventually gave up as half our items were crusty asf and tasted like dogwater. Very disappointing after waiting 2-3 business days to receive our food. read more

Came here on 08-07-2024, placed my order on the kiosk. It accepted my order & credit card. But did NOT give me a receipt. So I asked the guy at the counter what I was supposed to do? Instantly he gets into a screaming match with the woman who was the Manager that morning. She say's "What am I supposed to do?" The guy at the counter yelling, says "Well what am I supposed to tell this customer standing here?" She does NOT come to the counter, and she ignores his question. He stands there staring at me. I asked...WELL???? Is anyone going to do anything about this? He yells to the Manager again. And again she does NOT come to the counter, nor does she answer his question. Then a young kid comes out of the back, to the counter, drops my bag on the counter, and walks away without saying a word. On April 2nd 2022 I visited this McDonald's at St Ignace at 6pm because the Mackinaw bricge was closed. Long story short, it was for temporory shelter as with many other guest that where hoping the bricge would open soon. A few guest had small childreen including a 3month old.! Well at 7:15pm they started warning people to leave and continued until 8pm. During a time of need, specifically a small community you would think they would of help people that where not loud or rude to no one! The drive thru was unbelievably fast. Our special orders were correct. We didn't have to explain our requests, and the people were friendly. We came here on a day that was packed with car show nuts. We were hungry and it was open so that's why it gets one star. The restaurant appeared to have two managers on duty, 8/15/18, sometime after 10 pm. The woman who took our order was pleasant enough. Food took a long time to prepare. My fries were cold so I took them back up and asked for hot fries. It took young manager several seconds to look up from her phone, she took the fries to the manager with red bangs who threw her fry tongs onto the range hood after she fished up new ones. There was a lot of loud joking and yelling between all the employees. One male employee strode for a long time in the dining room talking casually to two young women. The restaurant was dirty, including the bathrooms. Seem like with all the goofing around, someone would have had time to check the bathrooms. read more

The manager was a complete jerk and would not correct my order. It was more important for him to be right than to satisfy the customer. Ah, I am paying for my order. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (for lunch) and specifically mentioned when I placed the order to "Not" burn my muffin. For some reason some locations think we want to eat carcinogens. The woman taking the order confirmed. I received my order in the drive-up, paid, and checked my order. Big surprise - burnt muffin. I told the woman that it was burnt and that I would please like a new muffin. A guy appears at the window and says "what's the problem?" Really, that is how you approach your customer?? I told him it was burnt and I requested a new muffin. He said "It's not burnt". I said yes it is as it is black. He kept repeating "it's not burnt" every time I tried to discuss it. He was like a parrot. I asked him if he would replace it, his response was "it's not burnt". I said "so being correct is more important to him than to satisfy a paying patron, what kind of customer service is that? I said if he wasn't going to replace my order with what I ordered he can give me a refund and I gave back the bag of fries. He threatened to call the police. For what, asking for the food I ordered and paying for to be correct? What a jerk!! I grew up in the U.P. and that is not normal behavior for anyone, especially for a manager. I will never return to this McDonalds!! I am sure Burger King would be more than happy for additional business. Friendly staff cheep prices they are willing to help u and fast service. I needed help with the kioks menu becaue it would not work with my deal the lady tries it a couple times for her self she stooped sleeping the floor to help me for a second. First impressions may not be everything, but as an out-of-state road warrior looking for a quick bite, that is about all this location gets. Unfortunately, they flubbed it. With three people in our party, one might reasonably expect for us to order three meals. That was our intention. The crewmember waiting on us needed to doe exactly that; wait. After the second meal was placed and it was explicitly stated that our third person was now going to order (he even stepped up right in front of the register), the crewmember went ahead and cashed out the first two meals, neither looking up from his touchscreen nor acknowledging our third person at all. We figured that this young man should at least be able to take a second order from us without any (more) trouble. Sadly, this was not in the cards, as his manager proceeded to walk up to the register and the two proceeded to work on refunding another customer for an errant sandwich. This left us in the unenviable position of having to wait in another cashier's line two order the third of three meals. To her credit, the manager did realize her error and offered to put both of our orders in the same bag so we wouldn't have to wait for two separate deliveries to the counter. While the service was sub-par, the food was up to snuff. The fries were still hot with just the right amount of salt and the burgers seemed to have been prepared recently. The Chile Chicken Snack Wrap that one of our party got actually ended up having ranch on it in addition to the Asian chile sauce, but the consumer said that the bobble actually improved the overall taste. Seeing other reviews and the commitment of the manager to "make it right" for the other customer, I likely just managed to catch the counter staff at less than their finest moment. Although the food was well executed, the crewmembers are the face of the establishment, an important part of the overall picture that was found wanting. read more

Clean restaurant and great service from the manager. She went above and beyond normally considered good service, making fresh fries (warning us it would take longer) and even bringing us our food. Even though it was slow, she seemed to be juggling multiple tasks without complaining, which I have seen elsewhere. She valued the customer so I would recommend this McDonalds anytime! read more
