Love coming here every time we visit. Food was good. 25 cents a refill on drinks. Small building but good.

I ordered and was charged for a 12 piece chicken and four sides, two large mashed potatoes and gravy and two large coleslaw. When I got home, I realized there was only two individual coleslaw. I called the store multiple times before someone finally answered the phone. The man that answered the phone argued that a 12 piece meal only comes with one potato and one coleslaw. I told him I didn't order the meal. I ordered the chicken and 4 sides. He told me I could come back to the store and they would give me the correct coleslaw. I live 25 miles away one way. I made a special trip to Mackinac city just to go to KFC. I asked him if he could just please refund it to my credit card. He told me he would have to call the owner and get back with me. It's been almost a week now and I haven't heard back. I will never go to this location again. Crappy customer service. read more

We went in and ordered a 12-piece bucket with three sides one of which was mac and cheese. Then proceeded to give away the last order of mac and cheese to a young lady that had ordered two people behind me. They pretty much gave me the impression that they didn't care. Instead they gave me extra fries that were extremely salty and soggy and two mini cakes. After I leave I discovered that they also didn't give us the mashed potatoes and gravy that we ordered and the chicken and biscuits was shoved in the box and all smushed in there so it was nothing but a big mess. There were no utensils no condiments didn't ask us if we wanted any. It was pretty much here's your order that we screwed up now hurry up and leave cuz you don't want me to cause a scene. Horrible experience and over priced for the quality of food I received. We ended up going home and just making sandwiches. read more

The original dark chicken we ordered was very dry. I think it had been cooked for awhile. I have going here for years I wasn't impressed this time. read more

The size of the chicken pieces at this KFC is laughable. I should have taken a picture of the "leg" they gave me for my meal. It was literally the bottom half of a chicken leg. I took it back and was told that it was apparently acceptable because they gave me 2 thighs with it for my 3 piece meal. What a joke. read more

We ate here TWICE on our trip to Mackinac City/Island at the request of our extremely picky child. He absolutely loved it. The food was always fresh and hot and actually tasted good. The service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly! We almost didn't eat here because all our KFCs in the surrounding towns/cities where we live are disgusting! Mackinac City KFC gets a 10/10 from us and if you want a fast, delicious, AFFORDABLE meal, this is the place for you! read more

I don't usually leave reviews for fast food joints, but this is no ordinary fast food joint. My husband and I were absolutely blown away at the customer service here. We arrived to Mackinac city late at night and KFC was the only place still open, so we didn't have a choice, but it ended up being such a delightful part of our stay in Mackinac because of the incredibly friendly and courteous service (and our KFC bowls were delicious!). We returned two nights later and once again, couldn't stop talking about how we have never been served in such a friendly, attentive manner at a fast food restaurant. Visited here during our vacation on May 9 2019 VERY friendly staff we were waiting on one thing and they brought it out to us Good deals just like any other kfc The seating is small but you can always pack up eat outside somewhere go back to your hotel Were great to my kids, asked me if they had finished eating and if she could gift them with a cookie Lol which made the night for them lol I'd definitely come back !!!!!! read more

It's KFC. The restaurant, if you want to call it that, is pretty small. It looked like they converted an older storefront into a KFC. There's hardly any seating available and the bathrooms are not available. I mean, really, this is smack in the middle of touristy Mackinac City. You'd expect they have a larger place that would be more accommodating to customers. Wait, I'm sorry for that brief period of delusion. Great service, food was tasty and hot and reasonably priced--not jacked up because it's a tourist town. Staff was friendly and helpful and strived to provide the best experience--actually went out of their way to provide us with what we wanted. They didn't charge extra for using a credit card either like one of the "family" restaurants across the street. It's a great take out place (limited in store seating), so we grabbed our grub and ate at picnic tables and looked at the Mighty Mac. Doesn't get much better than this! read more
