    Olive pizza

Honestly I was less than impressed. I realize it's the Fall now but they had only one cider that was on tap and I had to ask instead of them letting me know. The jalapeño pull apart bread was SUPER salty on the bottom of the bread. The rest of it had good flavor but the salt over took it. The pizza was pretty good. I'm assuming we bus our own tables because no one came back to clean any of the trays or baskets at all. Or take empty glasses. Our table was full. Staff was all over and not one person asked how things were. I had high hopes since they advertise their ciders so I was definitely disappointed.

Self pour, pay by the oz, and with fantastic brew concoctions. Beers, ciders, and seltzer are available. They also have a coffee house on site, and I saw a few specialty coffees being made. Kudos to the owners and brewery master for a fantastic experience. Food is available via alliance with BC Pizza in town (along with a few special brewery only items available). Bonus (and somewhat of a rarity in this town) is the dog friendly outside patio area. Thank you for that! Located just a short distance walk from the marina and across the street from Arnold's ferry. The location was great for us. Hubby and I made multiple trips during our visit to town, and we can't wait to come back.

This is a great brewery with a great concept where you can taste small or large samples of one of their many many beers or ciders. They have a small menu, which is nice to have nibbles while you have the beer. The pizza is not really a traditional authentic pizza, but it is nice to enjoy with the beer no matter. We had the Brussels sprout pizza and the olive pizza. I'd try one with a tomato sauce next time. Love the casual atmosphere and great friendly staff. A nice addition to the town of ice cream and fudge. Haha.

Absolutely amazing. The pepperoni pizza and meatballs were so flavorful and delicious. And the beers were excellent

I stuck with the stout but my partner enjoyed the seltzer.

We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings to celebrate our anniversary. The service was excellent and the food was good, but it felt a bit like someone was trying to replicate "fine dining" without actually being fine dining. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good, but the presentation often felt like it was trying too hard for what it was. We were surprised that for having dress code there were a lot of people in jeans and shorts, making the experience feel less than actual fine dining.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--Lawrence, our server, was wonderfully attentive and made us feel so welcomed. We started with the brioche pull-apart bread and jumbo shrimp cocktail--both fresh and flavorful. The beetroot salad was an absolute standout--beautifully balanced and bursting with flavor. For entrees, I had the local lake trout, which was perfectly cooked and delicately seasoned. My husband declared the baked cod the best he's ever had, and my son devoured his chicken fricassée. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert arrived. The warm apple strudel and the Grand Pecan Ball were both over the top--a sweet, satisfying end to an exceptional meal. Take your time, relax, and savor every bite. The Woods is without a doubt a must-have dinner spot when visiting Mackinac Island.
