    Belgian

Lots of beers on draft - I tried the Belgian. Lots of games to play. My toddler loved the Yeti with Spaghetti and the giant connect four. The musician was supposed to play until 9p but when we got there at 8p he was shutting down. He said they asked him to move his set time to earlier. Very bummed we missed the live music with no indication there'd be a time change.

Fun vibes, great drinks (shoutout to the Tang slushie), great service. Only downer is the food truck built in had a limited selection! Overall highly recommend!

Great seating options, great selection of beers - pleasantly surprised by the beer blends, creative! Awesome Saturday afternoon sipping spot! *note: no food served. There is a small snack pack of meat & cheese available for purchase tho.

The two beers we sampled were very good. The inside area is fairly small, but there is plenty of rooftop or ground level patio space. They also have chilled beer to go in single cans or four packs. Merch is available, no food. They were out of Tag-A-Brew, but are on the trail. I would return if I'm in the area again. Loved the beer variety.

A nice relaxing place to enjoy a drink with friends. They have an awesome patio and top deck, with live music if you go at the right time. They have a wide selection of beers. I can't say any of them would make my top 10 all time favorites but they are all solid and certainly worth a try. Can't go wrong with the Blood Orange Honey or Blackberry Blonde Ale. There's no food, or at least none that I noticed but you can bring your own. Or apparently even have it delivered there Like the table next to us got a pizza. Service is quick, never a wait for drinks and bartenders are very friendly and helpful going through the different beers if you've never been.

Try this!! If you like a dark stout this won't disappoint, the chocolate cherry notes give it the perfect finish. They have a perfect roof top patio to sit on, unwind and enjoy a summer evening. If dark beer is not your thing they also have many other options to choose from including flights if you can't decide on just one.

Two weeks ago we were in Cheboygan for the week...craft beer nerd, this was my first stop. Walked in early afernoon on a Thursday so there was only one other pair in, which I was glad as I told beertender Logan when reading the yelps they all mentioned how small the tap room was. Personally I think it's comfortably small....then again I wasn't trying to drink on a packed Friday night. I didn't head out to the patio or up to the roof top. I wasn't driving so after telling Logan "hey you're my first Michigan brewery and 308th ever... I want to try everything...but your IPA, however I am very intrigued as it's only 40 IBU". I asked Logan to pour me a little taste of it and w that 40 IBU it was quite tasty. If you're not a piny/bitter IPA fan, be sure not to miss the Tree Love iPA. My mom, a staunch Lite & MGDLight drinker opted for two pints of the refreshing La Cerveza. When I asked Logan if they had flights and how much? I was met w yes, $13 but we have a special and they're $10 today. Took the sting out of trying twelve beers over three flights. I think maybe they're getting 2024 merch so I picked up a $20 shirt on sale for $13. After trying all the beers, my ruling was... they were all good, I would order any of them again, including the IPA, but none walked away a favorite. Not a bad thing, I prefer a brewery where I'm not pigeon-holed and only order That Beer. Logan was friendly and knowledgeable as I didn't know anything about the MI craft brew scene, just that I wanted to try one brewery....until he said it was about three more hours away. Parking for Cheboygan was easy, just street parking. I liked that the brew house was right behind the bar. While there the brewer came out for a bit and I was unstoppable chatting craft beer, he got up and went to the brew house... when he returned, he set down a pour, I believe from the tank....can't get fresher than that! Of his Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Smores Pastry Stout and it was a delicious ending to an afternoon of drinking my way through his tap list. Albeit our conversation was extremely brief, he was a delightful fellow! I also met the pleasant Events Coordinator Autumn. For a small tap room I appreciated there was several standard height tables! Thanks Cheboygan for being a memorable first ever Michigan brewery and for the lovely staff and good beers that will go w that memory. Cheers.

We tried two different beers and loved both. The BlackBerry Blonde Ale and Blueberry Cream Ale. No food sold, but are food friendly. We picked up pizza at BC Pizza. They also deliver to the brewing company. Cheboygan Brewing Co is also pet friendly with outdoor patio and rooftop seating.

    Yipa-okay-Yay!! IPA!
    Alison Z.

Yay!! We made it just in time to get a growler and some 4 packs of their IPA. This brewery is sooooo welcoming. I had a wonderful conversation with their brewers. What I love best about Michigan is they are soooooo friendly and love to give their opinion of where to go!! Can't wait until tomorrow to explore. Would recommend this brewery and plan on coming back tomorrow!!

Are the outside spaces dog friendly?

Diana, Unfortunately, we are not dog-friendly but there is an area beyond our outdoor space where your dog can hang while you drink your beer within the confined area of our patio. More information here: https://www.cheboyganbrewing.com/faq

A long time we waited to get in here…read more.. The hours are created by someone who obviously doesn't need the income (open 11-8) It's tough to get off the water and get in before 8 in the summer, then like the rest of the town.. it's closed except the local bar that stays open. The food: Not impressed. 1/8# burgers with the same pricing as a normal restaurant. Fish and chips $4-5 more than average. A medium rare cheeseburger is served well-done Server was very sweet, but not knowledgeable at all. (We really don't blame her at all) We asked about 3 different items, and she was honest about not trying any dishes, maybe new? Day one training should have given staff a taste of signature food so they have something to share with customers. It was also obvious she forgot to put our drink order in and took forever to bring it to us. The place has a great view of the river, but we were so let down after waiting so long to get in. So many spoke so highly of this place, we were really hoping it to be a great experience-but it's really nothing to brag about. We finally came by during mid-afternoon while it was pouring, minimal customers and service should have been on point, but it wasn't. I can't recommend this place at all. Save your money and go to Great Lakes Grill down the street. (I didn't want to give this place any stars, but Yelp requires at least one to post)

Our waitress cheerfully approached us and took our meal order. We both got the soup of the day which came to us right away. A delicious, tasty squash soup and we really enjoyed it. Our food came in a timely fashion piping hot. We both ordered the Pub Dub smash burger and they were perfectly cooked and delicious, came with kettle chips. We enjoyed our meal, service was good, prices comparable to the other restaurants we have gone to in Cheboygan. Debbie/ Bob

The wait was about 15-20 minutes - so much better of a wait time! I like the theme and vibe of the place - the play on bikes and name of the restaurant is perfect. Decor is bike themed but not overly done. Rustic and laid back. Our waitress was excellent - very friendly and attentive. All staff were wearing masks. Good drink menu in addition to food. A lot of small plate options but the portion sizes of the small plates could feed at least 2-4 people. I went with sweet potato fries and steak tender bites - delicious! The dipping sauces for the fries had three different options - sweet/savory, loved trying each one. The sweet potato fries were not mushy and had a good crunch. The steak was cooked to perfection - I asked for medium and I got medium! Everyone seemed happy with their food. Restrooms were downstairs. Nice dining option in the city - only con there was no outdoor seating. Picking up on social media - looks like this place used to be Huron St. Pub & Grill not sure if it was a re-branding or new owners. Either way, I hope Broken Spoke is here to stay on the island!
