I had the Southern Comfort Chicken sandwich that was quite tasty. I also ordered the truffle Parmesan fries as an appetizer and while good, the quantity for $9 was disappointing. The regular fries and seasoned chips were very good. This is a brew pub of the typical flair with better beer than food. If we were to go again, I would order something different to give it a try. I thought the chips were a bit chewy (stale?) and the beer cheese was a notch above baseball concession stand nachos. Gyros are typically chopped or shaved lamb which makes it easier to eat and helps ensure you're getting more lamb per bite. Served in these strips, it was just falling apart and not blending with the feta. The fries...terrible. Just terrible. $6 to sub truffle fries which seems like too much but I hadn't had them in a long time so had to go for it. Listed in subs it simply says truffle fries, so I didn't know they were going to be covered in liquid cheese. They ARE listed in appetizers with the full description but I didn't look there until after bc I didn't order an appetizer. The cheese was awful, completely overwhelmed the TINY bit of truffle taste, and SO salty! Take a look at the picture and decide for yourself if the gyro and fries is worth $23. I eat a lot of gyros, and this being the most expensive one I've had is the worst. Heads up that they charge a service fee. Doesn't bother me as I always tip at least 20% but no one pointed that out and I'm not really sure what it's for. Does that go into the servers pocket or? Won't be going back to find out.
