This was another fun stop on our tour. This place is huge! It was super busy for Memorial Weekend, but we managed to grab a flight and our tags. We really enjoyed our time here and took a little walk around the property. They have a nice outside patio. We enjoyed our beers and even had some time to do a little shopping. They have some really cute merch. If you are in the area, I would most certainly make this a stop on your travels.

My family & I went here for our first time last week while we were camping up north. The place was amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable about the wines, and very attentive to their guests. The food and wine samples were delicious. The owner even gave my kids a tour of where the wine & beer is made. We will most definitely return the next time we are in the area!

Peach Cider. Heavy on the peach in a great way!

I'm a big fan of Michigan wines and I've had Mackinaw Trail wines at various distributors. But this was the first time I was able to visit this location in Petoskey. I didn't even have to hesitate for a moment before ordering the peach cider. I am in favor of all things peach and almost zero things cider but this was amazing! We went in between soccer games while at a tournament and had a meat and cheese plate too. It definitely helped us get through the afternoon before dinner! I would highly recommend visiting and purchasing anything and everything!

Very nice winery with beautiful views! Super nice staff with great customer service skills. Flights aren't super expensive as well and have 5 glasses. I recommend the Marquette red

Enjoying some really good beer at Mackinaw Trail Brewery.

Underrated winery/ brewery that kind of gets lost amongst all the other more popular locations but so worth the visit! First off, they have a winery dog, Sarah, a very friendly 10 yr old golden retriever who loves to be pet. I couldn't stop cause I love puppers. Secondly, the place is clean, service is great and everything, except the hard seltzer, was delicious. Really underrated beer; the red, IPA, pumpkin really stood out. Really enjoyed those beers. And their meat and cheese board is awesome. The spicy jelly they include is so solid. You just walk up, they are socially distancing, place your order, pay and they bring everything out to you. It was a great Fall day so we sat outside the building and enjoyed our drinks/ food while interacting with the workers, sampled some raw grapes they offered us and even met some other random people visiting the winery. Everyone was very friendly and in great spirits so it really added to the visit. Will be back for sure as it's not on my list of worthy beer locations here in Michigan.

Do not visit on Sunday - no tastings available unless you try an entire glass. Pretty views in the fall even on a cloudy day.

Good selection of wine and some small snacks! Service was great. Any place with a friendly Winery dog is A+++ in my book.

The experience was great. There was a dog named Sarah there and she was so nice and welcoming. The people working were great.

Nice people selling good wine. Wine is a little more pricey than other northern Michigan wineries.

Great atmosphere! Open space, nice people, and delicious wine and beer. Plan to go up again and enjoy it longer instead of making it a stop.

Oh how I wish this place would have been better. It's a…read morecute place and our server did a great job overall. Those are the highlights. My friend ordered the kabob dinner and said it was good...but over $20 for some veggies is crazy. My gyro and truffle fries....honestly I should have just sent them back. This is one of the most disappointing meals I've had recently. They put a tomato paste on it that I almost requested without, but trusted it would be interesting. It literally tasted like cheap canned tomato paste. Gross and certainly doesn't blend well on a gyro. The lamb meat itself had a decent taste, but the way it is served makes it difficult to eat in a pita. Gyros are typically chopped or shaved lamb which makes it easier to eat and helps ensure you're getting more lamb per bite. Served in these strips, it was just falling apart and not blending with the feta. The fries...terrible. Just terrible. $6 to sub truffle fries which seems like too much but I hadn't had them in a long time so had to go for it. Listed in subs it simply says truffle fries, so I didn't know they were going to be covered in liquid cheese. They ARE listed in appetizers with the full description but I didn't look there until after bc I didn't order an appetizer. The cheese was awful, completely overwhelmed the TINY bit of truffle taste, and SO salty! Take a look at the picture and decide for yourself if the gyro and fries is worth $23. I eat a lot of gyros, and this being the most expensive one I've had is the worst. Heads up that they charge a service fee. Doesn't bother me as I always tip at least 20% but no one pointed that out and I'm not really sure what it's for. Does that go into the servers pocket or? Won't be going back to find out.

I got a chance to grab a drink here on a rainy Sunday afternoon with friends at the bar and it was…read moreabsolutely packed! Their bar area is huge and they have quite the extensive food menu as well, while everything smelled delicious, we opted not to eat there and just grab drinks. The service was a bit slow but they warned us of that due to the amount of people they had, which we were totally fine with. It's a great location and they were really chill. I'd love to come back and grab food here another time!

The smashburgers were perfectly executed--juicy, flavorful, and layered with the kind of detail you can taste in every bite. The chicken wings had that ideal balance of crisp and tenderness, and the potato salad? Comforting, creamy, and done right. But the real standout for me was the cannoli pizza--creative, indulgent, and completely unforgettable. Beyond the food, what truly sets Pond Hill Farm apart is the experience. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming--exactly what you want for a night out in Northern Michigan. As a fellow local business, I also deeply appreciate how supportive they are of the community. It means something--and it shows in everything they do. If you haven't been, go. It was pretty crowded, but the folks behind the bar were doing a great job of getting everyone served. We waited about an hour for our pizza, but we were okay with that.
