We also left with a mead, Baco Noir, and Red Raspberry. My girls tried the pretzel bites and lava cake. Of all the wineries we have visited in the area this one is our favorite. Inside the energy was electric and contagious! Live music on weekends. Comfy couches, large bar, fireplaces inside and fire pits with conversation and seating arrangements outdoors plus a treehouse with fire pit and chairs to sit and enjoy your drink of choice. Blanket throws enable you to be cozy outdoors were also available. The bartenders are well versed on all of the selections and offered us a tasting of our choice since flights weren't being offered on nights with live music. We had the pretzel bites with cheese sauce for dipping and headed upstairs with our wine to the treehouse fire pit and enjoyed the company of others with the same idea. read more

Here on their 4 year anniversary and it was packed! A little crazy but it is a very cool place. Probably the nicest building we have been too in this trip. We were able to get to the bar and get some of their wine but it was not our favorite though. We didn't see any servers. Maybe on a slower day we could have better enjoyed this visit but today was obviously more for the locals. read more

Love the vibe of this winery. It has great indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was a warm day, there was a nice breeze blowing through the barn and it was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had flights and tried almost all the wines. I enjoyed the whites more than the reds, but did end up going home with a bottle of their red sangria. Can't wait to come back in the fall and take advantage of the fireplace and blankets. read more

We decided that we would go considering we got the same recommendation from multiple people. In the winter it looks closed until you get up to the building, but it was definitely open. As you walk up you observe all their outdoor domes, and a lit fire for anyone who wants to enjoy the snow, or may have pets. It was beautiful. As you enter you walk into this huge open space with a massive fire place and high tables. In the middle is a bar where you can just walk up and order. We got lucky and attended the afternoon they had live music. The live music really made the whole experience amazing. I enjoyed all the wine. I wound up trying half of the menu because each one was delicious. Overall, this place was an absolute treasure. Beautiful exterior, beautiful interior, superb service, and live music. Highly recommend following them on social media so that you can attend when there is music. Really makes the experience that much better. Also, the owner has the most adorable dogs. They are so beautiful, and well behaved. If you're lucky they will come say hello. read more

I came here for the first time for the Petoskey Wine Festival last month and am really bummed out that I didn't know about it sooner! It was so lovely indoors and out. Theres a big bar, and they had live music. They had a gorgeous fireplace and blankets, so it's probably very cozy and cute in winter too. We loved the wine too. And we thought it was cool that they had volunteers to help harvest the grapes and then fed them bbq lunch. If they do that again next year read more

This place was absolutely magical.  It's basically the bougiest of play-places for wine lovers including gorgeous gardens, comfy fireplace seating, and even a treehouse bar area in the middle of nowhere between tourist hotspots Petoskey and Boyne City. I would never have found the spot if it weren't for Harvest Hosts, which allows RV campers to pay a yearly fee and camp overnight at wineries, breweries, distilleries, farms, and more.  The photos and descriptions of this location sounded magical so we didn't mind that it was a little bit out of our way on our journey up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In the future, we will always make a point of going back here. The wines were wonderful, the staff was incredibly inviting, and the location is exquisite. We highly recommend setting aside at least a whole half day to really enjoy all the amenities here. The Tasting Room has beautiful plush seating adjacent to beautiful indoor firepits/fireplaces, plus there are gorgeous grounds and gardens to explore with plenty of Adirondack chairs outdoors, and there's a secondary bar area in a beautiful tree house that's part of the second story of the building. The property also abuts a hiking trail area with numerous trails to explore and lots of opportunities for foraging and enjoying native plants and fungus (we spotted tons of ghost pipe, wild black raspberries, and mushrooms galore in our early August visit). Our camping spot was also lovely. It was right next to a wooded area and my husband hung his hammock from a tree while I stayed in our miniature RV. They are also able to accommodate large rigs as well (fellow Harvest Host folks who were there during our visit had a gigantor class C).  Harvest Host's policy forbids using generators and the folks who were there during your visit did use theirs, but we were far enough away that the noise didn't disturb us.  Please note that if you are interested in camping at this location you must register with them through Harvest Host in advance. It's a magical place to stay. They only have small bites food menu (charcuterie, etc.) but were OK with me bringing in some whitefish dip from a previous spot to accompany the light bites we purchased on site. The bathrooms were very clean. Parking lot is gravel and on the smaller side. read more

The wine was great, burnt ends were tasty, but Tuck and Izzy were the icing on the cake. The dogs led us up to the tasting room from the parking lot like they worked there. We even snuck them some burnt ends and made friends for life. We definitely recommend this place! read more

My mom and I were on our way to spend the weekend in Petoskey and decided to stop in for some wine tasting. We had a great time chatting with one of the owners, Mary Ann, and especially loved the wine called Estate Marquette. We bought 6 bottles and a super soft and comfy sweatshirt. Nice people. Tasty apps. Their Pretzel Bites and Burnt Ends apps were really good. The wine was OK but nothing really got our attention. It is definitely worth stopping and trying for yourself. Went here with my family today for a little wine tasting. What a wonderful little spot. Some tasting rooms feel crowded and are super loud. This adorable place was open, plenty of seating and seemed to accommodate as many people as came came in. Debbie served us and although she was the only person serving at the time, we felt attended too and she was really personable. Wine, Pretzel Balls and the beer cheese were pretty dang good too! Interesting wines, pleasant surroundings and great hors devours! Very comfortable! Dog friendly...so be prepared for lots of dogs! Some of the wines offered are fine. Go for a tasting of several wines to find a couple of wines that match your taste. This is a working winery that produces fairly typical Michigan wines. read more
