Love the vibe of this winery. It has great indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was a warm day, there was a nice breeze blowing through the barn and it was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had flights and tried almost all the wines. I enjoyed the whites more than the reds, but did end up going home with a bottle of their red sangria. Can't wait to come back in the fall and take advantage of the fireplace and blankets.

Always enjoying spending time at Boyne Valley. The atmosphere is why we come, although we enjoy the wine as well. They go out of their way to offer experiences for their guests and are very friendly. Come see for yourself, you won't be disappointed .

SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: N/A DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 While staying at Walloon hotel we asked the staff if they had any recommendations, and we were told about this vineyard. We decided that we would go considering we got the same recommendation from multiple people. In the winter it looks closed until you get up to the building, but it was definitely open. As you walk up you observe all their outdoor domes, and a lit fire for anyone who wants to enjoy the snow, or may have pets. It was beautiful. As you enter you walk into this huge open space with a massive fire place and high tables. In the middle is a bar where you can just walk up and order. We got lucky and attended the afternoon they had live music. The live music really made the whole experience amazing. I enjoyed all the wine. I wound up trying half of the menu because each one was delicious. Overall, this place was an absolute treasure. Beautiful exterior, beautiful interior, superb service, and live music. Highly recommend following them on social media so that you can attend when there is music. Really makes the experience that much better. Also, the owner has the most adorable dogs. They are so beautiful, and well behaved. If you're lucky they will come say hello.

Great wines. Great music. Great vibes!!!

A wonderful family location to enjoy summer nights. Do not be intimidated by the apparent mass of cars parked here, there is plenty of room for everyone. Some excellent t wines to enjoy, both red and white! Come and enjoy!

This place was absolutely magical.  It's basically the bougiest of play-places for wine lovers including gorgeous gardens, comfy fireplace seating, and even a treehouse bar area in the middle of nowhere between tourist hotspots Petoskey and Boyne City. I would never have found the spot if it weren't for Harvest Hosts, which allows RV campers to pay a yearly fee and camp overnight at wineries, breweries, distilleries, farms, and more.  The photos and descriptions of this location sounded magical so we didn't mind that it was a little bit out of our way on our journey up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In the future, we will always make a point of going back here. The wines were wonderful, the staff was incredibly inviting, and the location is exquisite. We highly recommend setting aside at least a whole half day to really enjoy all the amenities here. The Tasting Room has beautiful plush seating adjacent to beautiful indoor firepits/fireplaces, plus there are gorgeous grounds and gardens to explore with plenty of Adirondack chairs outdoors, and there's a secondary bar area in a beautiful tree house that's part of the second story of the building. The property also abuts a hiking trail area with numerous trails to explore and lots of opportunities for foraging and enjoying native plants and fungus (we spotted tons of ghost pipe, wild black raspberries, and mushrooms galore in our early August visit). Our camping spot was also lovely. It was right next to a wooded area and my husband hung his hammock from a tree while I stayed in our miniature RV. They are also able to accommodate large rigs as well (fellow Harvest Host folks who were there during our visit had a gigantor class C).  Harvest Host's policy forbids using generators and the folks who were there during your visit did use theirs, but we were far enough away that the noise didn't disturb us.  Please note that if you are interested in camping at this location you must register with them through Harvest Host in advance. It's a magical place to stay. They only have small bites food menu (charcuterie, etc.) but were OK with me bringing in some whitefish dip from a previous spot to accompany the light bites we purchased on site. The bathrooms were very clean. Parking lot is gravel and on the smaller side.

The wine was great, burnt ends were tasty, but Tuck and Izzy were the icing on the cake. The dogs led us up to the tasting room from the parking lot like they worked there. We even snuck them some burnt ends and made friends for life. We definitely recommend this place!

Good atmosphere and wine. It could have been great if it weren't for the the snippy bar tender :( Food is OKAY.

Very friendly service and excellent wine. I enjoyed the tastings and took home a bottle of Snowcat white wine. We will definitely be back for more.

We enjoyed their rosé and white wines. All semi sweet and dry. The staff was friendly and service attentive.

This cozy hotel, nestled near Petosky and surrounded by many wineries, is the most fabulous boutique hotel. The outdoor trees are beautifully decorated and it makes you feel like you're in a hallmark movie. As we drove up, and parked we were met by an employee who knew our names and took our bags to our room. Felt like I was in Dubai getting VIP status service again. Our check-in was swift, and we were given a tour of the downstairs which had an amazing bar with a roaring fire, and free snacks and waters. It also had a small gym, and a game room containing a billiards table. Once we finally got to the room we were so shocked. The room was massive and absolutely breath taking. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets were super soft. The highlight was the outdoor patio. We got a room on the first floor. The patio came enclosed with heaters so that you can go out and look out at the lake and not freeze. During Christmas they put a Christmas tree on each patio. Very romantic and festive. Service is, by far, the number one thing about this place. The hotels beauty is obvious, but it only goes so far if the service isn't there. We loved every minute of our stay. The bartender in the evening was the best. We sat there for hours and just chatted. He was very personable, and fun to talk to. We also wanted to use the jacuzzi, so the front desk employee went, and opened it up for us even though it was freezing outside. They also let us stay 20 minutes past the hours of operation without question. There were many more things we didn't do like snow shoeing on the lake, but they offer many things for kids, families, or outdoor enthusiasts. Overall, this was probably one of the best vacations we have had. From the service to Amenities they checked every box. If you are looking for romance, or even a family get away then this place is a must. We also took advantage of the wineries in the area. They are still open in the winter. I wish I would of snapped more photos for all to see, but I was wanted to live in the moment and not technology. This place has won many awards as a top wine hotel in the country. Just make sure you call way in advance for reservations. They book up extremely early. We booked a year in advance.
