Was passing through on my way to pictured rocks & stopped here for lunch! Sandwich was AMAZING!!! (Avocado/onion/dill havarti one) It was a little chilly when we went in May, but worth it for the yummy meal.

The last cheese curd, from our second order! We almost fought over this little nugget of crunchy, gooey goodness!

Today was our third time visiting the Gangplank. Every time we've driven north and south so far! The whitefish fingers are excellent, the whitefish sandwich is also great, and the Hot Lips Houlihan is like no other sandwich we have ever had, anywhere! Delicious. Today we tried the ghost pepper cheese curds, and had to get a second order they were so tasty!! If ever there were a reason to go off your diet, do it at the Gangplank. It's worth it! The place is small and breezy, the view is nice, and the service has been super every time. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

The deck dining room is really fun and the service was great. We went at lunchtime and it was super busy. It was really nice that you can get a drink while you wait. I enjoyed my whitefish fingers and fries but they were ok. Because it was so busy, I think they sat for bit so the fish was not crispy. The dipping sauce for the fish was really good. I loved the dill. The fries were really good.

I've seen better service at a restaurant run by the blind. Not sure why they run around not doing anything but for the money you'd think they'd have a clue. The fish sammie was tasty but the side selection was hurting. Nice view of the harbor, but not really worth the money.

Just got to gang plank after an 8 hr drive from Cleveland!

When i first walked up i was greated quickly and with a smile which set a great mood and feeling it was goig. To be a good time which it ended up as....The food was delicious and made right the fries are FRESH cut, and the bison burger was amazing and for the appetizer i went with the cheese curds and house made ranch absolutely delicious! The white Russian cocktail was perfection almost dangerously good! And just the over ambiance of the place was perfect and made you feel truly at ease!

The mains here are pretty decent. I got the Greek pita and was very impressed with the flavors, the tzatziki, the freshness of the onion and tomato. It kinda falls apart after this. There are three side choices for most mains: chips and salsa, fries or cottage cheese. None are really healthy or different from what anyone else is doing with the exception of cottage cheese, which also is a no for me. The fries were a little too salty and on the limp side. The wait time for a Saturday night is about an hour which we saw some people leave from that but there's only 12 tables. The wait staff did not really having it together so we only really got our order in and the check and didn't get a second round of drinks. Overall 3/5 would recommend to friend for the views and the mains.

ordered at 19:53, got our food at 21:44 maybe they make you wait a while so it tastes even better lol. server Carly was amazing though, even when the place was slammed. outdoor seating was great, nice view and cool decor, some pop music playing at a good vol

Fun times, good food. Loved the appetizers! It was busy but expected waits during tourist time. Wait staff was friendly and on the ball!

The outside baked crust is crisp and tasty. My husband's beef pastie was filled with beef, similar to other posters pictures and he really enjoyed his. Everything was hot too I have a tough time eating beef so opted for the chicken option and while my sandwich was tasty, it was truly 95% potato, a tiny bit of carrots and just very, very little chicken. Maybe I got the bottom of the bowl or something, but it definitely needed more protein. He did have a veggie option available today as well. This place is super popular spot and the sandwiches are $8.50 each, we ordered a gravy, as per other Yelp recommendations and we shared that. It was an additional two dollars. He gives you a lot gravy!! Parking is very limited out front, but we found people were in and out pretty quick. There are a couple picnic tables where you can sit and eat but honestly, he really just doesn't have the room for that so get it to go. The owner seems super friendly, and I love the fact that so many people are supporting his business. Another UP box checked!

We didn't have reservations, so picked up a buzzer from the hostess and joined the crowd waiting in the gift shop or lounging around at the entrance. Our wait was about a half hour, and we were seated in a rear dining room that should receive a Gold Medal for Eclectic Design. Our table was covered in laminated Detroit Tiger baseball cards, and the walls were plastered with beer company paraphernalia and Detroit sports memorabilia. Our server Aimy brought our meal -a Cheeseburger Platter ($11.99), and for me a cup of Clam Chowder ($4.49) and Shrimp Steamers ($14.99). My meal was excellent, the chowder was served piping hot and was loaded with chopped clams and potatoes. And man, oh man, were the shrimps great. They were a half pound served shell-on "Caribbean style" with lemon and cocktail sauce. Yes, they were messy to eat but were so worth the mess. Aimy helped me out with a few wet naps. We had an excellent experience here.

The waitress, while friendly enough, did not have a good grasp of the English language. And all for just under $50. This place is definitely not depending on repeat business. Compared to this, place, Long John Silvers is 5 star dining. Walked away hungry and $50 lighter. I won't be back.

Authentic Jamaican Flavor in St. Ignace!…read more We were so pleasantly surprised to find Jamaican food in St. Ignace with the addition of Kingston Kitchen at the Inn--and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Nick was our server and he was both attentive and genuinely friendly. Even though he was clearly busy, he still made us feel right at home. He offered some excellent cocktail recommendations--my wife especially enjoyed the Old Fashioned, which isn't even usually her go-to! We also tried the Ting with a Sting and the house punch--both were tropical, flavorful, and fun. Do yourself a favor and order the cocktail flight--such a great way to sample several unique drinks. For dinner, we had the jerk chicken and ribs, and both were seasoned perfectly. The rice and beans were especially delicious, and they serve this amazing "fruit ketchup" with the fries that totally surprised us--sweet, tangy, and addictive. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. If you sit in the window section, you even get a partial view of the water.
